Hernandez was removed from Wednesday's game against the Rockies with a left hamstring strain.

Hernandez was grabbing at his left hamstring after attempting to beat a throw to first base in the second inning, and he was replaced on defense at the start of the third. The severity of the outfielder's injury is still unknown, though a trip to the injured list could be on the table. Alex Call would be the favorite to start in left field if Hernandez needs to miss time.

Murakami went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Wednesday's win against the Twins.

Murakami has now homered in three straight games, with Wednesday's round-tripper a seventh-inning blast to left center off Travis Adams. It marked Murakami's eighth home run of the month and tied him for the American League lead with 20 on the season. The 26-year old is now slashing .240/.375/.561 with 40 RBI and 42 runs scored, but he also has 78 strikeouts in 240 plate appearances. The MLB rookie also picked up his first career stolen base earlier in the game.

Happ went 2-for-6 with a home run and five RBI in Wednesday's 10-4 win over the Pirates.

The switch-hitting outfielder tallied a season high in RBI and his third career game with at least five RBI, snapping a nine-game home-run drought in the process. Happ also provided his first multi-hit game since the May 15 win over the White Sox, now slashing .215/.346/.436 with 11 homers, 26 RBI, 36 runs scored and two stolen bases over 234 plate appearances.

Mikolas (1-4) took the loss Wednesday, allowing two unearned runs on five hits over 3.2 relief innings as the Nationals were downed 3-2 by the Guardians. He struck out one without walking a batter.

Handling bulk-relief duties behind opener PJ Poulin, Mikolas put together one of his better performances of the season but was undone in part by a Curtis Mead error in the fifth inning. Mikolas was lifted after 60 pitches (39 strikes), and he's gone consecutive outings without being charged with an earned run. Over five appearances (two starts) in May, he's posted a 2.74 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 13:3 K:BB in 23 innings. Mikolas will look to stay on track in his next trip to the mound, which is set to come at home early next week against the Marlins.

Lowe went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 10-4 loss to the Cubs.

Lowe extended his hitting streak to four games courtesy of a third-inning three-run shot off Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon. The slugging second baseman has hit safely in 15 of his 23 outings during the month of May, racking up multiple knocks in four of his past seven games. Lowe is flourishing during his first year with Pittsburgh, slashing .269/.355/.560 with 14 long balls, 12 doubles, 36 RBI and 33 runs over 220 plate appearances.

Prielipp (1-3) took the loss Wednesday against the White Sox after giving up six runs on eight hits while walking three and striking out five in 4.1 innings.

Prielipp lost control of the game in the fifth inning, where he gave up three of his six runs after keeping the game close for most of his start. Prielipp has now given up five or more earned runs in consecutive starts after having allowed two earned runs or fewer in each of his first five major-league outings. Wednesday's rocky outing raised Prielipp's ERA to 5.13 and WHIP to 1.35 over 33.1 innings. The rookie will look to find his footing at home in a rematch at home against the White Sox next week.

Chandler took a no-decision Wednesday against the Cubs, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out five.

Chandler faced constant pressure from the Chicago bats, tossing a lone clean inning on the evening, but he at least managed to settle down a bit after the Cubs ambushed him for a pair of runs in the opening frame. The 23-year-old right-hander has consistently struggled to work deep into outings, throwing at least six innings on just one occasion so far while walking multiple hitters in nine of his 11 appearances. Chandler will carry a disappointing 4.85 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 52:36 K:BB across 52 innings into his next scheduled start in Houston against the Astros.

Taillon took a no-decision Wednesday against the Pirates, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out four.

Although Taillon got enough run support to keep him out of the loss column, he wasn't particularly effective on the bump Wednesday. The 34-year-old right-hander continues to get stung by the long ball on a regular basis, serving up multiple home runs six times already this year -- including two Wednesday -- and allowing at least one homer in nine of his 11 starts. Having given up at least four runs in three straight outings, Taillon will be tough to trust when he takes a 5.37 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 51:20 K:BB over 60.1 innings into his next scheduled start against the Athletics.

Sandlin (1-0) got the win Wednesday against the Twins, allowing one run on one hit and no walks with four strikeouts across six innings.

Sandlin stunned in his professional baseball debut as he retired every batter he faced (18 straight) after giving up a leadoff home run to Byron Buxton. The rookie took the rotation spot of Noah Schultz (knee) after the latter was placed on the 15-day injured list and was highly efficient, needing only 61 pitches (41 strikes) to get through six innings. Sandlin did not cover more than four innings in any of his last four Triple-A starts, but he was able to notch a quality start Wednesday. The 25-year-old is projected to next take the mound in a rematch against the Twins next week.

Soriano (6-4) took the loss Wednesday against Detroit, allowing three runs on seven hits and four walks in five innings. He struck out four.

Soriano labored Wednesday, needing 105 pitches (61 strikes) to complete five frames while walking at least a trio of batters for the seventh time this season. The 27-year-old right-hander has come crashing back to earth quite a bit following an amazing start to the year that saw him post a 0.24 ERA through six outings, as Soriano has a 5.35 ERA and 1.51 WHIP across his last 33.2 innings (six starts). He's set to bring what's still an impressive 2.65 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 78:31 K:BB over 71.1 frames overall into a favorable home matchup against the Rockies.
