Manager Tony Vitello said Sunday that Webb (knee) is "a good option" to return from the 15-day injured list to make a start during the Giants' upcoming three-game series versus the Diamondbacks in San Francisco, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Vitello was careful to note that the Giants haven't decided on Webb's next steps, but the right-hander said that he feels physically ready to rejoin the San Francisco rotation after making a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday. He covered 3.1 innings and tossed 62 pitches in the start, striking out two batters while allowing one unearned run on two hits and three walks. The Giants will likely reassess Webb during a bullpen session Monday before deciding whether he'll be ready to start Wednesday against Arizona.

Yoshida went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Twins.

Yoshida got the Red Sox on the board with a solo shot in the second inning, his first homer of the campaign. It also marked the 34-year-old's first multi-hit effort dating back to May 6, as he entered Sunday just 5-for-33 over his previous 13 games since that date. For the year, he's slashing .263/.355/.379 with one home run, seven RBI, 10 runs scored and one steal across 110 plate appearances while starting against most right-handed pitchers.

Walker went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer during the Astros' 8-5 win over the Cubs on Sunday.

Walker gave the Astros the lead for good in the fifth inning by taking Shota Imanaga's splitter deep to left-center field for a three-run homer. Walker has gone deep three times over his last two games and is up to 14 home runs on the season, which is second on the Astros behind Yordan Alvarez (15) and tied for eighth-most in the majors this season. Walker is slashing .265/.338/.531 with 37 RBI and 31 runs scored across 219 plate appearances in 2026.

Quintana, who was removed in the second inning Sunday versus Arizona, is dealing with left elbow discomfort, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Quintana was pounded for six earned runs on six hits Sunday while retiring only four batters before departing. It's not clear at this point how severe the elbow issue is or if he's going to miss any starts. Quintana currently lines up to make his next trip to the mound at home next weekend against the Giants, but his status should become clearer after further testing.

Allen went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, an RBI single and an additional run scored during the Astros' 8-5 win over the Cubs on Sunday.

Allen blasted his first long ball of the season in the third inning when he took Shota Imanaga deep to left field. Allen came home to score again in the fifth before giving the Astros an insurance run in the ninth after his single to right field brought Cam Smith home. Allen has mostly operated in a utility role this season, but he should see some more spot starts in the infield for as long as Jose Altuve (oblique) is on the 10-day injured list.

Lambert (3-4) earned the win against the Cubs on Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and four walks while striking out five across five innings.

It wasn't exactly smooth sailing for Lambert, who allowed at least two baserunners in three of the first four innings of his start. All three runs he gave up came in the second frame, though it could have been worse given that he loaded the bases before striking out Michael Conforto to end the inning. Lambert ended his outing on a positive note by striking out two of three batters in the fifth, and he received enough run support from his Astros teammates to come away with his third win of the season. Lambert will take a 3.79 ERA and 1.17 WHIP over 40.1 innings into his next start, which is slated for next weekend at home against the Brewers.

Milwaukee reinstated Baddoo (quadriceps) from the 60-day IL on Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Baddoo suffered a left quad strain during spring training and was consequently placed on the 60-day IL. He's been rehabbing with Nashville, slashing .188/.278/.563 with two homers and two RBI through five games. Baddoo appears to be back to full health, but the Brewers don't have room for him on the 26-man roster, so he'll stick in the minors for the time being.

Contreras went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Twins.

Contreras tied the game in the fourth inning with a two-run blast off Bailey Ober. The 34-year-old also extended his hitting streak to eight games, a stretch that includes five multi-hit efforts, six extra-base hits, 10 RBI and six runs scored. On the season, he's slashing .281/.376/.522 with 11 homers, 33 RBI, 25 runs scored and one steal across 210 plate appearances.

The Rangers recalled Collyer from Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.

Collyer will be up with the Rangers for the second time in 2026 after posting a 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 10:8 K:BB in 12.2 innings over 14 appearances during a month-long stint in the majors earlier in the season. The right-hander is expected to fill a low-leverage role out of the bullpen.

The Rangers placed Winn on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right arm fatigue.

The arm fatigue may have played a part in Winn's poor showing in a 5-2 loss to the Angels on Saturday, when he retired one of the three batters he faced and was charged with two earned runs on two hits. Texas recalled right-hander Gavin Collyer from Triple-A Round Rock to replace Winn in the bullpen.
