Garcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Marlins, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Garcia started the previous eight games and will take a seat Sunday after posting a .273/.314/.364 slash line with five RBI and three runs during that stretch. Felix Reyes, Justin Crawford and Brandon Marsh will start from left to right in the outfield for the series finale in Miami.

Turang was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals due to an illness, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The Brewers haven't indicated whether Turang will be available off the bench for the series finale in Washington, but the team may prefer to give him a full day to recover. David Hamilton had been scheduled to start at third base Sunday but will instead cover second base while Luis Rengifo mans the hot corner.

Ryan was removed from Sunday's start against the Blue Jays during the first inning with an apparent injury, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

The right-hander struck out Yohendrick Pinango to start the game and then walked Kazuma Okamoto, after which Ryan signaled to the dugout and exited the contest with training staff. His final pitch was a 90.9-mph fastball, which is nearly two ticks slower than his average fastball velocity (92.6 mph) in the early going this season. The nature of the injury isn't clear, but Ryan's availability for his next turn through the rotation is now in question.

Lodolo (finger) is expected to return from the 15-day injured list to start Friday's home game against the Astros, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Lodolo -- who has been on the shelf all season due to a blister on his left index finger -- made the third and final start of his rehab assignment Saturday, striking out six batters and allowing two earned runs on five hits and two walks over 4.1 innings for Triple-A Louisville. The left-hander built up to 79 pitches in the outing, so he should be ready to handle a fairly normal workload next weekend in what would be his 2026 debut for the Reds. Before the Reds lock Lodolo into their upcoming pitching schedule, he'll likely need to complete a bullpen session Monday or Tuesday without incident.

The Reds plan to call up Petty from Triple-A Louisville to start Monday's game against the Cubs in Chicago, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The right-hander will fill the rotation spot vacated by Brandon Williamson (shoulder), who was placed on the injured list Thursday. Petty's stint in the big leagues could be brief, however, as Nick Lodolo (finger) is on track to be activated from the IL next weekend. Over six starts with Louisville this season, Petty has submitted a 4.38 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 29:11 K:BB over 24.2 innings.

Littell is expected to pitch in bulk relief behind opener PJ Poulin in Sunday's game against the Brewers, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Poulin is expected pitch one or two innings before giving way to Littell, who will work behind an opener for the second time this season. The Nationals are hoping that the arrangement will yield better results from the veteran right-hander, who has an 8.37 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in 23.2 innings over his last five starts.

Poulin will serve as the Nationals' opening pitcher for Sunday's game against the Brewers, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Zack Littell had been in line to start but will instead handle a bulk-relief assignment. Poulin has opened on four other occasions this season, covering 4.1 innings in those games while yielding one earned run on four hits and no walks.

Stephenson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Stephenson started the previous three games and will receive Sunday off after going 3-for-11 with two doubles and a run scored during that span. Jose Trevino will take over behind the plate and bat eighth for the series finale in Pittsburgh.

House is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

He'll hit the bench for the series finale while the Nationals go with Jorbit Vivas at third base and Jose Tena at designated hitter. House hasn't produced multiple hits in a start since April 14 and is slashing just .175/.242/.281 with two home runs, one steal, eight RBI and six runs over his ensuing 15 games.

Hayes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Hayes will hit the bench for the second time in the past four games. The 29-year-old's .119/.278/.190 slash line through 90 plate appearances this season may finally be costing him playing time, although his expected stats (including a .237 xBA and .416 xSLG) aren't as dire. Sal Stewart is getting a look at third base Sunday while Spencer Steer starts at first base.
