Turner left Saturday's game against the Twins early after fouling a pitch off his right knee, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

After fouling a ball off his right knee, Turner was removed in the eighth inning, though with the Phillies leading 8-1 at the time, it's possible they were being extra cautious with the 33-year-old as he battled some pain. Justin Crawford replaced Turner in the game while Edmundo Sosa moved over to shortstop from left field.

Cruz (0-1) blew a save and took the loss against the Mets on Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk with one strikeout while recording one out in the ninth inning.

With Clayton Beeter used against the heart of the Mets' order in the eighth inning, Cruz got the ball with a one-run lead in the ninth. He allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base before ultimately surrendering a walk-off single to Francisco Lindor. It's been a rough go for the 26-year-old, as he's yielded five earned runs and blown two saves in five appearances with his new club. On the year, he owns a 6.48 ERA, 2.04 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB across just 8.1 innings with the Yankees and Nationals.

Lorenzen (3-11) took the loss against the Giants on Saturday, allowing six runs on four hits and three walks with one strikeout over 3.2 innings.

Lorenzen entered the fourth in a 1-1 tie before things unraveled, as he was unable to complete the inning and was ultimately charged with five more runs. The 34-year-old has endured a nightmare second half, posting an 11.57 ERA through five starts since the All-Star break while failing to complete five frames in any of them. He'll take a bloated 7.08 ERA, 1.88 WHIP and 82:49 K:BB across 115.2 innings this season into a home matchup with the Guardians next weekend.

Gilbert went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Rockies.

Gilbert set the tone from the leadoff spot, launching a solo shot in the third inning before adding a two-run single in the fourth. While it's a small sample, the 24-year-old has tallied three extra-base hits and driven in seven runs over his past five games. Yoshida left Saturday's game against the Pirates in the top of the third inning after sliding into second base on a double, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

The 33-year-old slid head-first into second base after legging out a double and came up limping before being removed from the game. Officially, he exited with left hamstring tightness, per Ian Browne of MLB.com. Anthony Seigler pinch ran for Yoshida and will remain in the game as Boston's designated hitter.

Athletics manager Mark Kotsay said he does not expect Severino (shoulder) to return to a big-league mound this season, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Severino, who has been on the injured list since May 30, is not expected to toe the slab again in 2026, as Kotsay believes there is not enough time left in the season based on Severino's progression during his current throwing program. The right-hander's final stats for the season include a 2-6 record with a 4.16 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 65:31 K:BB across 62.2 innings. Severino will enter the final year of his three-year, $67 million contract with the A's in 2027.
