Bichette went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Giants.

Bichette put the Mets ahead for good in the eighth inning with a two-out, 412-foot blast off Carson Seymour, his 16th homer this season. While it's been a down year overall for Bichette, his first with New York, the veteran infielder has heated up down the stretch -- he's batting .311 with five homers, 15 RBI and a .958 OPS over his last 24 games. Overall, Bichette is slashing .264/.312/.401 with 71 RBI, 70 runs scored and two steals across 605 plate appearances this season.

Brito started at second base and went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, an RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 12-8 win over Milwaukee.

Brito returned to the starting lineup after a two-game hiatus, as Matt McLain moved to shortstop so that Elly De La Cruz could get a break as the designated hitter. Brito has made an impact in his short time on the major-league roster, contributing to a pair of wins. He's gone 4-for-11 with two extra-base hits (one home run), five RBI, one steal and four runs scored over four games (three starts).

The Twins activated Ryan (glute) from the 15-day injured list Monday.

After missing the past month with a left glute strain, Ryan will make his return to the Twins' rotation with a start Monday in Detroit. The right-hander threw only 42 pitches in his lone rehab start, so his workload will be truncated against the Tigers. Connor Prielipp is a possibility to eat some innings out of the Minnesota bullpen after Ryan is done Monday.

Gurriel will start at designated hitter and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Royals.

Arizona activated Gurriel from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, but he didn't play in any of the team's ensuing five games following his reinstatement. Prior to missing time due to a right adductor strain, Gurriel slashed just .207/.254/.287 with two home runs over 47 games for Arizona. He could have to settle for sporadic playing time down the stretch while the Diamondbacks fight for a wild-card spot.

Nootbaar is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.

After being left out of the lineup against righty Peter Lambert in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Astros, the left-handed-hitting Nootbaar will now sit against a left-hander (Noah Cameron) in the series opener versus the Royals. The Diamondbacks will turn to Lourdes Gurriel at designated hitter in place of Nootbaar, who is hitting .230 with three home runs, one stolen base, 12 RBI and seven runs in 25 games with Arizona since being acquired from St. Louis on Aug. 3.

Davis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Sunday against the Angels.

Davis provided the only run of the game for either team with a solo home run in the third inning. He is working primarily as the backup to Rafael Flores and continues to struggle at the plate, with Sunday's homer being his first since July 12. If there is a positive to take from Davis' season, he has set a new career high in home runs with nine.

Carroll is absent from the lineup for Monday's game in Kansas City.

Carroll is just 6-for-49 (.122) at the plate over his last 13 contests. After being dropped from the No. 2 spot to the No. 5 spot in the Diamondbacks' batting order for the previous two games, Carroll will be out of the lineup entirely for Monday's series opener. Tim Tawa is getting a start in right field in Carroll's stead.

Greene went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in Sunday's 3-2, 10-inning loss to the Guardians.

Greene couldn't quite match the two home runs he recorded Saturday, though he still had another strong performance. The outfielder just returned from the injured list Tuesday after missing a few weeks with a hamstring strain. After recording only two hits and two RBI total in his first three games back, Greene now has six hits and six RBI over his last two contests. It looks like he's settling back into an offensive groove, though with the Tigers sitting at 65-78, the 25-year-old star may get some rest down the stretch as Detroit turns its attention to 2027.

Smth (3-1) didn't allow a baserunner across three innings while striking out four to earn the win Sunday against the Twins.

The White Sox threw a bullpen game, but Smith recorded the most outs of any of the five pitchers used. Fourteen of his 35 pitches went for either called or swinging strikes, and he continues to excel out of the bullpen in his first taste of the majors. Overall, Smith has allowed only one earned run across 16 innings and has maintained a 23:10 K:BB. He has also shown improved control lately, walking only four across his last 11.1 frames.

Perdomo (head) will start at shortstop and bat leadoff in Monday's game versus the Royals.

Perdomo was struck in the helmet by a line drive off the bat of Ketel Marte when he was running the bases in Sunday's game against the Astros, forcing his exit. However, he did not experience concussion symptoms and will not have to miss a start.
