The Astros transferred Burrows (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Sunday.

Burrows' move to the 60-day IL opens a 40-man roster spot for Jorge Barrosa, who was claimed off waivers from the Diamondbacks. While this transaction itself does not take Burrows out through the remainder of the regular season, he recently experienced a setback with his shoulder while rehabbing an elbow injury at Triple-A, and it's unclear at this point if he will make it back in 2026.

Iglesias earned the save in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Phillies, allowing one hit and no walks with one strikeout in a scoreless ninth inning.

Iglesias was summoned to protect a one-run lead and worked around a leadoff single to close things out. The 36-year-old has now held opponents scoreless in seven straight outings, and he's converted seven straight saves since Aug. 16. For the year, he's 31-for-34 in save chances with a 2.72 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 55:16 K:BB across 53 innings.

The Dodgers recalled Alfonzo from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

With Dalton Rushing (elbow) landing on the injured list, Alfonzo will join the major-league club for the second time this season. Alfonzo appeared in 12 games during his previous stint with the Dodgers, slashing .185/.185/.259 across 27 plate appearances. He will serve as the No. 3 catcher behind Will Smith and Hunter Feduccia.

Singer (6-13) earned the win against the Brewers on Sunday, allowing six runs on four hits and six walks with three strikeouts over five innings.

Singer benefited from an offensive explosion by the Reds, as he set season highs in walks and earned runs allowed. While the 30-year-old has generally worked deep into games, he's now yielded three earned runs or more in nine straight starts and owns a 5.53 ERA in the second half. He'll carry a 5.03 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 120:51 K:BB across 146.2 innings this season into a road rematch with the Brewers next weekend.

Bauers went 1-for-2 with a home run, three walks, two RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 12-8 loss to the Reds.

Bauers reached base in four of five plate appearances, highlighted by a two-run blast in the fourth inning. It was a much-needed effort for the 30-year-old, who received a breather Saturday after going just 1-for-12 in his first four September contests. On the season, he's slashing .270/.396/.493 with 24 homers, 78 RBI, 82 runs scored and 10 steals across 518 plate appearances.

Rushing was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday, retroactive to Saturday, with right elbow discomfort.

Rushing did some throwing Saturday as part of a planned progression, and his elbow did not respond well. He underwent imaging Sunday, which showed aggravation in the area, manager Dave Roberts told Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Rushing won't catch again this season, but the team is not ruling out a return as a bench bat. Eliezer Alfonzo was brought up in a corresponding move to bolster the Dodgers' catching depth.

Muncy (illness) will bat eighth at the designated hitter Sunday against the Nationals.

An illness forced Muncy's removal from Saturday's starting lineup, but he is evidently feeling well enough to give it a go Sunday night against lefty Andrew Alvarez. The 36-year-old Muncy has hit 20 of his 26 homers this season against righties but has more than held his own against same-side pitching as well (.794 OPS).

Stewart went 1-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and two stolen bases in Sunday's 12-8 win over the Brewers.

Stewart drove in a run on a sacrifice fly in the second inning before adding a single and stealing second and third base in the fourth. The National League Rookie of the Year frontrunner has hit safely in eight of his past nine games, tallying three home runs, seven RBI, five runs scored and three stolen bases in that span. On the season, he's slashing .268/.338/.483 with 31 homers, 107 RBI, 80 runs scored and 15 steals across 621 plate appearances.

Ohtani (knee/biceps) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Make it four consecutive absences for the four-time MVP. Manager Dave Roberts has been leaving the door open for a possible IL stint, though Ohtani reportedly made it through his session in the batting cage Saturday without any discomfort. Ohtani's availability as a hitter for the start of the Dodgers' next series remains uncertain.

De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, two walks and four RBI in Sunday's 12-8 win over the Brewers.

De La Cruz launched a two-run blast in the fourth inning before driving in two more on a double in the fifth. The superstar has now hit safely in five straight games to open September, going 10-for-20 with two homers, six RBI and five runs scored over that span. For the year, he's slashing .280/.360/.492 with 23 home runs, 66 RBI, 86 runs scored and 24 steals across 556 plate appearances.
