Langeliers is not in the Athletics' starting lineup against the Twins on Saturday.

Langeliers will be idle for Saturday's game while Jonah Heim starts behind home plate and Nick Kurtz serves as the designated hitter. Langeliers is in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, during which he has gone 10-for-30 with three home runs, six RBI and three doubles.

Keaschall is not in the Twins' starting lineup against the Athletics on Saturday.

Keaschall has started versus left-handed pitching pretty regularly this season but will be idle against A's southpaw Brady Basso while the Twins start Trevor Larnach, Byron Buxton and Alan Roden in the outfield from left to right. Keaschall has gone 6-for-21 (.286) with one steal and one RBI in seven games since the All-Star break.

The Astros recalled King from Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Julia Morales of Space City Home Network reports.

King was sent down to Triple-A last week after giving up eight earned runs over his last four outings (spanning five innings). Prior to that four-game stretch, he boasted a 2.02 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 12 holds, six saves (on nine chances) and a 31:14 K:BB across 40 innings. Despite his recent struggles, King is back with the big club after the Astros placed Spencer Arrighetti (foot) on the 15-day injured list.

The Astros placed Arrighetti on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to right foot nerve irritation, Julia Morales of Space City Home Network reports.

The injury surfaced during Arrighetti's start against the White Sox on Friday, which forced him to leave after allowing three runs on two hits and two walks while hitting two batters in one inning. He'll be sidelined until at least mid-August, but his recovery timeline should become more clear once he's cleared to resume baseball activities. Bryan King was recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land in a corresponding move.

Strzelecki signed a minor-league contract with the Cardinals on Saturday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Strzelecki has turned in a 3.94 ERA and 1.13 WHIP across 32 innings at Triple-A this season. He hasn't pitched in the majors since 2024, though that could change soon if he continues to find success at Triple-A Memphis.

Crawford (wrist) is starting at third base and batting eighth against the Rangers on Saturday.

Crawford has been sidelined by a sore left wrist for each of the Mariners' last four games, but the veteran infielder has been cleared to return for Saturday's contest. He is slashing .215/.338/.352 with one steal, 10 homers and 28 RBI across 349 plate appearances this season.

Young isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Young will get a breather Saturday after going 2-for-3 with a double and a stolen base in Friday's series opener. Brett Baty will fill in as New York's first baseman and bat eighth.

The Mets recalled Wagaman from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.

With Juan Soto (calf) landing on the injured list Saturday, Wagaman will return to the active roster to help bolster New York's bench depth. The 28-year-old isn't likely to receive regular opportunities with the big club, though his ability to play at both of the corner infield and outfield spots could enable him to pick up an occasional start.

Mayo is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Mayo will be out of the lineup for a third consecutive game while Christian Encarnacion-Strand picks up another start at third base. Though Mayo should still be a regular presence in the lineup versus left-handed pitching, he could fade into more of a part-time role versus righties after having gone 4-for-16 (.25o average) while striking out in half of his plate appearances since the All-Star break.

The Mets placed Soto (calf) on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a strained left calf.

Soto made an early exit from Friday's contest against the Dodgers due to a sore left calf, marking the second time he's been forced out of a game because of his calf since the All-Star break. MRI results confirmed Saturday that the 27-year-old has suffered a Grade 2 strain, per Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com, and although no definitive return timeline has been established just yet, interim manager Andy Green confirmed that Soto's absence will be longer than the two weeks he missed with a right calf strain in April. Jorge Polanco figures to see consistent starts as New York's designated hitter while Soto is out, and Eric Wagaman will come up from Triple-A Syracuse to replenish the team's bench depth.
