Wilkinson (0-3) took the loss against the Mets on Friday, allowing seven runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts over three innings.

Six of the seven runs off Wilkinson came via the long ball, and he threw just 36 of 62 pitches for strikes with only three whiffs. The southpaw logged a quality start Saturday but has managed just 8.2 innings over his other three major-league outings since debuting Aug. 19. He'll take a 6.14 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 8:4 K:BB across 14.2 innings with the Giants into a home matchup with the Cardinals next week.

Bichette went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Friday's 10-6 win over the Giants.

Bichette walked and scored in the first inning before adding a two-run shot in the second. The 26-year-old has now hit safely in five straight games, recording four extra-base hits and scoring five runs in that span. For the year, he's slashing .266/.315/.400 with 15 homers, 68 RBI, 69 runs scored and two steals across 597 plate appearances.

Grisham was removed from Friday's game against the Padres with an apparent injury, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

While it wasn't obvious what was hurting Grisham, he was seen going down into the clubhouse with a trainer. Grisham drew a walk and was caught stealing in the top of the second inning. Heliot Ramos replaced Grisham in the third.

Vientos went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 10-6 win over the Giants.

Vientos opened the scoring with a three-run shot in the bottom of the first inning. The 26-year-old has now homered in each of the two games he's started since returning from the injured list Monday, and he's gone 4-for-10 in four contests overall during that span. On the season, he's slashing .219/.261/.413 with 13 home runs, 39 RBI and 27 runs scored across 264 plate appearances.

Devers went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, a walk and five RBI in Friday's 10-6 loss to the Mets.

Devers accounted for nearly all of the Giants' offense, driving in two on a double in the third inning before adding a three-run blast in the eighth. It continued a torrid stretch for the 29-year-old, who's hit safely in 10 of his past 11 games while tallying seven home runs and 18 RBI. For the year, he's slashing .256/.338/.508 with 33 homers, 88 RBI and 83 runs scored across 607 plate appearances.

Alvarez went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Friday's 10-6 win over the Giants.

Alvarez went deep in the second and eighth innings, recording his third multi-homer effort of the campaign. It snapped a 17-game power drought for the 24-year-old, who entered Friday just 7-for-55 with five RBI during that stretch. On the season, he's slashing .234/.319/.413 with 15 long balls, 36 RBI and 31 runs scored across 363 plate appearances.

Tong will be recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to start Monday's game against the Marlins, David Lennon of Newsday reports.

Interim manager Andy Green confirmed Friday that Tong will indeed join the big-league club for a start in Miami, after reports earlier this week suggested the Mets were leaning in that direction. Tong's overall numbers at Triple-A this season leave something to be desired (4.54 ERA, 1.37 WHIP), but he has held the opposition scoreless over his last two starts for Syracuse, allowing just four hits with an 11:4 K:BB over his last 12.2 innings.

DeLauter was removed from the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Tigers with a right wrist sprain, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

DeLauter made one trip to the IL earlier this season with a rib injury and recently missed time with hamstring tightness. The extent of his latest issue isn't entirely clear, though the initial diagnosis is a bit ominous this late in the season. Travis Bazzana replaced DeLauter at designated hitter in the nightcap.

Lee was removed from the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Guardians with a left shin contusion, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

The news is positive on Lee, as it looked like it could have been a more serious knee injury given his immediate reaction. Lee was banged up on a play at the plate involving Cleveland catcher Austin Hedges, with Lee limping off the field after the incident.

Taillon was removed from Friday's game against the Royals with right elbow discomfort.

Taillon was just activated Friday after missing time with a forearm issue, and he lasted only two innings and 29 pitches in his return. His availability for his next start is very much up in the air, yet the Blue Jays might not have much of a choice but to make a roster move to replenish the bullpen after Taillon's abbreviated outing.
