Bellinger (hamstring) took live batting practice Wednesday for the first time since landing on the injured list July 26, MLB.com reports.

Bellinger has also been able to do some running and throwing as part of his ramp-up process but his timeline to return from the IL remains unchanged. Shortly after Bellinger was placed on the shelf due to a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, manager Aaron Boone said that the reigning All-Star Game MVP would miss approximately 4-to-6 weeks. The short end of that timeframe would give Bellinger a chance to return to action for the Yankees at some point in late August.

The Mets selected Weisenburger's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.

The 28-year-old righty will hit the big leagues for the first time after he submitted a 7.22 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 46:27 K:BB across 52.1 innings at Syracuse. Weisenburger will likely fill a low-leverage role out of the bullpen while he's up in the majors.

Manager Pat Murphy said Pratt, who is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, is undergoing an MRI on his hamstring, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 Milwaukee reports.

The rookie shortstop felt some discomfort during Saturday's contest and believes he could play Sunday, but the club will instead play it safe and send him for medical imaging. Pratt should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated. David Hamilton is shifting to shortstop Sunday while Andrew Vaughn receives a start at third base.

Benge (wrist) will start in right field and bat cleanup Sunday against the Pirates.

The rookie outfielder was absent from the lineup for Saturday's 9-0 loss after jamming his left wrist Friday, but he's good to go for Sunday's series finale in Pittsburgh. Benge is batting .385 (15-for-39) with two doubles, a triple, two home runs, two steals, six RBI and seven runs across his past 10 games.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that Stanton (calf) "started the introduction to [running] some bases," MLB.com reports.

In addition to taking live batting practice, Stanton had already been doing some running in the outfield. His ability to begin a baserunning progression represents another step forward as he works his way back from a right calf strain, which has kept him on the shelf since April 28. The Yankees remain optimistic that Stanton will be activated from the injured list before the end of August, but a clearer target date for his return likely won't come into focus until he heads out on a rehab assignment.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Schmidt (elbow) has resumed playing catch without issue and should get back on a mound in the "next couple days," Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Working his way back from July 2025 internal brace surgery, Schmidt threw two innings of live batting practice Tuesday but wasn't able to cover a third inning as planned when his forearm cramped up on him. Fortunately for Schmidt, he appears to have steered clear of any sort of major setback, given that he was cleared to start playing catch after a few days of rest. Assuming he's able to make it through his next bullpen session without issue, Schmidt could be ready to face live hitters again by the end of the week.

Ramos will start in left field and bat third in Sunday's game against Atlanta.

After being acquired from the Giants on Monday, Ramos looked like he could be at risk of taking on a short-side platoon role with his new team, but the Yankees' decision to demote Jasson Dominguez to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre earlier in the week has cleared the way for Ramos to take hold of a regular spot in the lineup. Since being activated Tuesday, Ramos has gone 2-for-13 with two doubles, two walks and two hit-by-pitches while starting in left field in all five of the Yankees' games.

Suzuki is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Suzuki started the previous eight games and will receive a day off after going 8-for-31 (.258) with two doubles, one homer, one steal, six RBI and four runs. Pete Crow-Armstrong will rest his legs as the designated hitter while Tyrone Taylor picks up a start in center field.

Dubon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

The super-utility player will receive a breather after starting four straight games at four different positions -- left field, center field, second base and shortstop. With Dubon resting, Atlanta will make room in the lineup for Dominic Smith, who will bat sixth as the DH.

Vaughn will start at third base and bat third in Sunday's game against the Twins.

Vaughn has previously logged 10 total innings at third base across six games this season, but Sunday he'll make his first start at the position since 2021. He won't be a regular option at the hot corner, but David Hamilton is needed at shortstop with Joey Ortiz (neck) and Cooper Pratt (hamstring) both unavailable.
