Double-A Reading placed Nori on the 7-day injured list June 9 with a lower-body injury, Josh Norris of Baseball America reports.

Nori entered the year as one of the Phillies' better upper-level position player prospects, but he struggled prior to the injury. The 21-year-old outfielder slashed .245/.306/.361 with two home runs, 12 steals and a 73 wRC+ in 52 games for the Fightin Phils.

Abrams went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's win over the Rockies.

The Nationals kicked off a Coors Field series in style with three long balls, and Abrams launched the third of them by taking Antonio Senzatela deep in the seventh inning. Abrams has left the yard in back-to-back contests, and through 13 games in July he's produced a .288/.322/.577 slash line with four of his 22 homers on the season, along with three doubles, two steals, seven runs and 12 RBI.

Fermin (3-1) earned the win over St. Louis on Monday, walking one batter and striking out two over one scoreless inning.

Fermin entered in the ninth frame with the Angels down 2-1. He didn't exactly have pinpoint control, throwing just 10 of 21 pitches for strikes, but the righty reliever worked around a two-out walk and then got the win when the Angels walked it off in the bottom of the inning. Fermin has been outstanding since his most recent call-up June 15, posting a 0.56 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB over 16 innings spanning 12 appearances. He has only one hold and no saves over that span, but he could begin to see more high-leverage opportunities with continued success.

Suarez (groin) won't start Tuesday against the Orioles as previously scheduled, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

The left-hander was poised to come off the injured list to start Tuesday versus Baltimore after a two-week absence due to a groin strain, but there's now been a change of plan. It's unclear whether or not Suarez has suffered a setback, though it's possible Tuesday's rainy weather forecast is prompting Boston to exercise caution with his return, per Ari Alexander of 7 News Boston. The Red Sox should provide an update in the near future. Eduardo Rivera will now take the mound Tuesday versus the Orioles.

Single-A St. Lucie activated Guzman (quad) from the 7-day injured list July 17.

Per Matt Eddy of Baseball America, Guzman strained his quad on June 5. The younger brother of former big-leaguer Ronald Guzman, Randy boasts monster raw power, registering a 117.6 mph max exit velocity and 91-mph average exit velocity. At 21, Guzman is a little old for Single-A, but he is slashing .263/.365/.484 with 10 home runs and a 26.9 percent strikeout rate in 53 games. He has started 26 games at first base and 23 games in the outfield corners while at Single-A this season.

Robert went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Monday's loss to the Brewers.

Activated from the IL earlier in the day and seeing his first MLB action since April 26, Robert was handed a tough assignment against Jacob Misiorowski, the major-league strikeout leader this season. Robert got the start in center field, with A.J. Ewing shifting to right field and Carson Benge getting the night off, but it's unlikely the veteran outfielder will displace either of the rookies on a regular basis as the disappointing Mets turn their focus to 2027. Through 102 plate appearances this season, Robert has a .213/.314/.315 slash line with two homers and two steals.

Assad struck out two and allowed one unearned run on two hits and one walk over an inning of relief Monday in the Cubs' 8-6 loss to the Tigers in 10 innings.

Assad had started in his final two appearances before the All-Star break, but he ended up getting bumped to the bullpen to begin the second half after Jameson Taillon returned from the injured list and re-entered the rotation Monday. The Cubs further bolstered their rotation depth with the acquisition of Aaron Civale over the weekend, so Assad may not be in store for any starting opportunities anytime soon.

Double-A Binghamton placed Serrano on the 7-day injured list with a shoulder strain in mid-June, Matt Eddy of Baseball America.

Serrano, who last played June 13, could be back before the end of July, per Eddy's report. The 23-year-old outfielder has struggled in his first season at Double-A, slashing .193/.304/.339 with three home runs, six steals and a 26 percent strikeout rate in 54 games.

Hamilton (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Hamilton has missed the last two weeks of action with a left hamstring strain but has been cleared to test things out in games. If all goes well, the speedy infielder could return from the injured list Friday. Joey Ortiz has posted a 1.013 OPS with three home runs in 11 games since Hamilton was hurt, so Hamilton could operate in more of a reserve role when he returns if the Brewers want to play the hot hand at third base.

France went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a loss to Atlanta.

France launched a 397-foot shot to left-center field in the seventh inning to extend one of the best stretches of his career at the plate. Over his past eight games, the veteran slugger is slashing a sizzling .464/.500/1.107 with five long balls, three doubles, 10 RBI, eight runs and a 2:3 BB:K. That's pushed France's season OPS to .887 -- on pace for the best mark of his career -- and has catapulted him to second place on the Padres with 15 homers on the campaign.
