Barring a pinch hit appearance, Pederson will finish his first regular season with Arizona having slashed .275/.393/.515 with 23 home runs and 64 RBI across 444 plate appearances. Randal Grichuk will serve as the designated hitter and bat fifth.

Meyers is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.
Mauricio Dubon will start in center field and bat eighth for Sunday's regular-season finale. Unless he pinch hits, Meyers will end the 2024 regular season with a .219/.286/.360 slash line, 11 stolen bases, 13 home runs and 61 RBI over 513 plate appearances.

He still hopes to be ready for the ALDS, and it sounds like he's hitting each necessary checkpoint. Cousins has been out for 10 days with a right pec strain.

With Roupp unavailable after starting Friday and the Giants' bullpen lacking fresh options, Trevor McDonald was summoned to take the roster spot. Roupp has legitimate starter stuff, led by an elite curveball, but he has never logged 110 innings in a season and is already 26.

Holliday went 3-for-4 with a double, two walks and a run scored in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Twins.
Holliday got a rare look in the leadoff spot with Gunnar Henderson resting Saturday. It ended up leading to one of Holliday's best games of the year, as he got aboard a season-high five times. The infielder has been lacking in power with just five extra-base hits over his last 39 games. Overall, he has a .185/.248/.307 slash line with five home runs, 23 RBI, 28 runs scored, four stolen bases, four doubles and two triples over 59 contests in 2024.
