Singletary was great last week at Washington with 16 carries for 95 yards and, a touchdown, and one catch for 1 yard on one target for 14.5 PPR points. He scored 9.2 PPR points in Week 1 against Minnesota, and I expect that to be closer to his production this week at the Browns. Cleveland has allowed a rushing touchdown in each of the first two games against Ezekiel Elliott and Travis Etienne, but no running back has more than 58 total yards in two games against the Browns. If Singletary doesn't score this week, then his production could be minimal, and he should be considered a flex at best in all leagues.

Singletary carried the ball 16 times for 95 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Commanders. He also caught his only target for zero yards. The veteran running back scored his first TD as a Giant late in the first quarter on a seven-yard run. Singletary has dominated the backfield touches for New York through the first two weeks of the year -- Tyrone Tracy was the only other RB to see the ball, taking one carry for two yards -- and while the team's offense as a whole hasn't been particularly effective so far, that volume does give him a solid fantasy floor. Singletary will look to put together another strong effort in Week 3 against the Browns.

Hopefully, the Giants will be more competitive in Week 2 at Washington than they were in Week 1 when Minnesota beat New York 28-6. Singletary had 10 carries for 37 yards and four catches for 15 yards on five targets in the loss, but he could get 20 total touches this week if the Giants hang around or play with the lead. Last week, the Commanders allowed Rachaad White to go over 100 total yards and score 16.6 PPR points, and Bucky Irving had nine carries for 62 yards and scored 9.6 PPR points.

Singletary should dominate touches for the Giants, especially in Week 1 against the Vikings, and he's worth using as a flex. Brian Daboll is excited about Singletary being the replacement for Saquon Barkley this year. "He's just a good running back," Daboll said. "You can use him on all three downs. ... So, I'd say he's an all-purpose back for us. I've known him quite some time in this league, and he's consistent." The Vikings allowed four running backs in their final four games last season to score at least 14 PPR points, and hopefully, Singletary can at least match that level of production in Week 1.

Singletary carried the ball 10 times for 20 yards and a touchdown and failed to catch his only target in Saturday's 28-10 preseason loss to the Texans. The Giants' first-team offense played the entire first half, but Singletary wasn't able to gain much yardage against a stout Texans front seven. The veteran back did manage to punch in a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter, however. He's set to begin the season as the Giants' top option in the backfield, and with rookie Tyrone Tracy (ankle) potentially on the shelf for Week 1, Singletary could wind up seeing more work as a receiver than anticipated early in the year. His experience in Brian Daboll's scheme -- Daboll was Singletary's offensive coordinator for three seasons in Buffalo -- should allow him to hit the ground running with his new team after he amassed 1,091 scrimmage yards over 17 regular-season games for Houston in 2023.
