McFadden (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. McFadden will miss his second straight game to close out the season, so Darius Muasau and Ty Summers should again see the majority of the linebacker snaps against Philadelphia. McFadden's season comes to a close having recorded a career-best 107 tackles (60 solo), including eight TFLs and 3.0 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 14 games, all starts. The 25-year-old linebacker has one year remaining on his rookie deal in 2025.

McFadden (neck) didn't practice Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports. McFadden was sidelined for the Giants' Week 17 win over the Colts due to a neck injury sustained the week prior, and Wednesday's DNP likely suggests he's in jeopardy of missing additional time. The Indiana product almost certainly needs to upgrade to at least limited practice participation Thursday or Friday to have a chance to play in the Week 18 divisional matchup against the Eagles.

McFadden missed the second half of last Sunday's loss to the Falcons with the neck injury and will now be sidelined for Week 17. Ty Summers replaced McFadden against Atlanta and would seem to be next in line for linebacker snaps. The Giants are already without fellow starting inside linebacker Bobby Okereke (back) for the remainder of the season.

McFadden tallied 11 tackles (six solo) in Sunday's Week 12 loss to Tampa Bay. McFadden recorded his third double-digit tackle total of the season and his second over his past three games. The linebacker's 11 stops were second on New York on Sunday behind only rookie Tyler Nubin's 12. McFadden dealt with a heel injury at the end of the week and entered Sunday deemed questionable to suit up, but he appeared to be fine and was active on defense for the Giants.

The starting inside linebacker appeared on the injury report Friday and missed practice, but he also told Dan Duggan of The Athletic that he expected to play. McFadden has 65 tackles (35 solo), including 2.0 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in nine games this season.
