Prescott completed 25 of 32 passes for 405 yards and four touchdowns while adding 12 yards on four carries in Sunday's 35-17 win over the Giants.

After a punt on its first possession, Prescott guided the Dallas offense to three straight TDs to put the game out of reach before halftime. The fourth-year quarterback put together a perfect QB rating of 158.3 on the day, completing passes to seven different receivers, and both he and new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore made a striking statement in their 2019 opener. The Cowboys are likely to offer Prescott a contract extension soon -- his price tag certainly didn't go down after this incredible performance -- but it doesn't look like the talks are distracting him on the field in the least. He'll lead the team into Washington for another NFC East clash in Week 2.

Stafford completed 27 of 45 passes for 385 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions during Sunday's 27-27 tie with the Cardinals. He added three rushes for 22 yards and had two fumbles (one lost).

It was a game of ups and downs for Detroit, but fantasy football managers nonetheless have to be encouraged by what they saw from Stafford in his first regular-season game under new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. Not only does Stafford already have as many three-touchdown games as he had last season, but this was his highest yardage total since Week 8 in 2017 as well as his most rushing yards since Week 2 in 2017. While we'll need a larger sample size to gain trust in Stafford week-in and week-out, early indications suggest that the Lions may finally have a balanced offensive attack that will help the quarterback put up points more frequently than in year's past.

Jones took over under center for the Giants' final possession in Sunday's 35-17 loss to the Cowboys, completing three of four passes for 17 yards but losing a fumble on a five-yard run.

Fumbles were an issue for the sixth overall pick in this year's draft during the preseason as well, but in general Jones looked poised in his first taste of regular-season action, even if it did come in garbage time. At some point if the season goes the way of Week 1, the Giants may hand the starting job to Jones, but for now he'll continue to be Eli Manning's understudy.

Winston completed 20 of 36 passes for 194 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions in the Buccaneers' 31-17 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. He also rushed five times for 13 yards and had two fumbles, losing one.

Winston's regular-season debut in coach Bruce Arians' offense was pretty much an abject disaster by all accounts, with his one highlight a 10-yard touchdown pass to Chris Godwin to cap off an 11-play, 75-yard scoring march in the third quarter. Otherwise, Winston was under constant pressure and took three sacks overall while also throwing a pair of pick-sixes to Richard Sherman and Akello Witherspoon. In fairness, Winston's line would have looked somewhat better had either of the two touchdown passes he threw to Cameron Brate on a drive that straddled the first and second quarter counted, but each score was called back by penalty. Those tough-luck breaks aside, Winston still looks like he has plenty of work to do in order to run Arians' scheme in a much more efficient, mistake-free fashion. He'll look to make quick strides on a short turnaround, as the Buccaneers travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers in a Thursday night Week 2 tilt.

Garoppolo completed 18 of 27 passes for 166 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the 49ers' 31-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also lost two yards on two rushes and threw a two-point conversion pass.

As his final line indicates, Garoppolo was far from spectacular, but he managed to limit his miscues to one interception and saw a pair of touchdown passes wiped out by penalty. Garoppolo also reaped the benefits of his team's opportunistic defense, which harassed Tampa's Jameis Winston throughout the game and goaded him into three interceptions, including a pair of second-half pick-sixes. Garoppolo was guilty in his own right of gifting the Buccaneers a touchdown via a pick, so he still has plenty to clean up ahead of a Week 2 road battle against a Bengals team that gave the Seahawks all they could handle in their opener.

Wilson completed 14 of 20 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 21-20 win over the Bengals. He also rushed four times for eight yards.

It was a shaky start for Wilson and the Seahawks, as they totaled minus-1 yard through the first two drives. The rest of the game was still shaky, but he finished with a decent stat line by tossing touchdowns to Tyler Lockett and Chris Carson. Getting Carson involved in the passing game was a priority of Seattle's offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer this season, and Wilson made it happen by targeting him a team-high seven times. Wilson also found utility in highly-touted rookie DK Metcalf, throwing to him six times, totaling four completions for 89 yards. While Wilson's ceiling is still capped by a run-heavy offense, he proved efficient for fantasy purposes despite limited reps.

Brissett completed 21 of 27 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns while adding nine yards on three carries in Sunday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Chargers.

T.Y. Hilton was on the receiving end of both scores, and the Colts' new starting quarterback looked comfortable and poised in leading a second-half comeback that forced extra time. Unfortunately, Indy's defense couldn't come up with a stop in OT and give Brissett one more possession. The team's new identity on offense might be more focused on its ground game than it was under Andrew Luck -- Marlon Mack got 25 carries and averaged 7.0 YPC -- but Brissett looks capable of keeping the chains moving when he needs to. He'll get a tough road test in Week 2 against a Titans defense that just picked off Baker Mayfield three times.

Goff completed 23 of 39 passes for 186 yards, a touchdown and an interception during Sunday's 30-27 win over Carolina. He also fumbled a ball during the matchup, but it was recovered by the offense.

Goff was silent for most of the game entering the fourth quarter with the Rams nursing a three-point lead. Looking for Robert Woods downfield, Goff threw just behind his tightly covered target and into the arms of corner James Bradberry for a pick. Fortunately, his defense gave him the ball right back and he punctuated a seven-play drive with a five-yard dart to Tyler Higbee for a score. Goff and many of the Rams' starters might have just been shaking off some rust after not playing in the preseason, but fans will be sure to be follow any struggle closely after the way Goff's 2018 ended.

Allen completed 24 of 37 passes for 254 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Jets. He also rushed 10 times for 38 yards and a touchdown while fumbling twice and losing both.

Allen turned it over four times in the first half. He fumbled on the opening drive and threw a pick-six on the second, then lost another fumble when he failed to handle a 4th-and-1 snap in the second quarter before throwing another interception on the following possession. The Bills went into the break trailing only 6-0 despite all of Allen's miscues, setting the stage for a fourth-quarter comeback that featured a three-yard Allen rushing score and a 38-passing touchdown to John Brown. Most of Allen's fantasy appeal lies in his legs, but the second-year quarterback struggles with turnovers. Opponents should continue to limit his rushing output by spying him until his passing improves.

Keenum completed 30 of 45 pass attempts for 380 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions during Sunday's 32-27 loss to the Eagles.

Keenum was outstanding against a strong Eagles defense and especially so early on, with touchdown passes of 48 and 69 yards in the first half. He didn't maintain that same level in the second half but still managed to finish with one of the finest stat lines of his NFL career. Keenum was expected to start the season as the No. 1 option before giving way to Dwayne Haskins, but more performances like this could allow the team to bring the rookie along slowly. He'll face another tough matchup next Sunday at home against the Cowboys.
