  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Medically cleared to play

Rodgers (collarbone) announced Tuesday via his personal Instagram account that he has been medically cleared to play.

It sounds like Rodgers, who has been practicing since Dec. 2, will take reps with the first-team offense throughout the week in preparation for his return to the starting lineup Sunday against the Panthers. Assuming Rodgers incurs no setbacks with his throwing shoulder during practice, look for the Packers to formally activate him from injured reserve within the next few days. Brett Hundley, who went 3-4 as the starting quarterback while Rodgers was sidelined, will return to his normal backup role.

  • Jeff Driskel QB | WAS

Bengals' Jeff Driskel: Returning to practice

Driskel (thumb) will return to practice Wednesday.

Driskel was placed on injured reserve at the beginning of the regular season after injuring his thumb in the Bengals' preseason finale. If the Bengals decide to move the rookie quarterback to the active roster for the final weeks of the season, he will likely assume the No. 3 spot on the depth chart behind Andy Dalton and AJ McCarron.

  • Paxton Lynch QB | PIT

Broncos' Paxton Lynch: Non-participant on injury report

Lynch (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's injury report, Zac Stevens of BSN Denver reports.

Lynch's inability to participate in Monday's walk-through isn't a great sign for his chances of returning in time for Thursday's tilt against the Colts. Trevor Siemian presumably handled the first-team reps at quarterback, with Brock Osweiler operating as the No. 2.

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Week 15 status remains undecided

Rodgers underwent tests on his surgically repaired collarbone Monday morning, but the results are still being reviewed, and a decision on his Week 15 status has not yet been made, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

There was a chance that Mike McCarthy would reveal during his Monday afternoon press conference whether or not Rodgers would start in the Packers' Week 15 matchup with the Panthers, but the head coach did not provide any clarity one way or another. With Rodgers' tests results now being evaluated, and the Packers needing to decide on their Week 15 starter soon, it should not be much longer until a decision is made. If he is unable to return this week, Brett Hundley would get another start under center.

  • Bryce Petty QB | MIA

Jets' Bryce Petty: Taking over as starter

With Josh McCown (hand) ruled out for the season, Petty will take over as the Jets' starting quarterback, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.

Petty filled in for McCown late in Sunday's 23-0 loss to the Broncos, completing only two of nine passes for 14 yards. The 2015 fourth-round pick was impressive this preseason, but he failed to display anything approaching competence in 2016 when he completed 75 of 133 passes (56.4 percent) for 6.1 yards per attempt, with three touchdowns and seven interceptions in six games (four starts). Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse need to be downgraded as the Jets prepare for a Week 15 road matchup against a Saints defense that ranks sixth in the NFL with 14 interceptions.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Titans' Marcus Mariota: Expected to play Week 15

Titans head coach Mike Mularkey confirmed Monday that Mariota (knee) is expected to practice Wednesday and play in Sunday's game in San Francisco, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.

Per Wolfe, Mularkey is hopeful that Mariota's minor knee sprain won't impact his mobility in the coming weeks. The third-year quarterback was able to play through the injury without missing a snap in Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Cardinals, though his performance -- 159 passing yards, 11 rushing yards and two interceptions -- was the furthest thing from encouraging. It's also worth noting that this is the same left knee Mariota wears a brace on, having previously suffered MCL injuries in 2013 at Oregon and again in 2015 as a rookie. While he doesn't seem to be in danger of missing a game, his practice participation will be monitored closely throughout the week.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Vikings' Case Keenum: Locked in as Week 15 starter

Keenum will start Week 15 against the Bengals, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

The rumors about Teddy Bridgewater taking the job went quiet the past month as Keenum continued to play at a high level. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer made it clear that one bad outing won't cost Keenum the job, as Sunday's 31-24 loss in Carolina was preceded by eight consecutive victories, with five of those coming against teams that currently own winning records. Keenum threw two picks and lost a fumble in Sunday's loss, but he also tossed a pair of touchdowns while accounting for 320 yards of offense (40 on the ground).

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Expects to return this week

Taylor (knee) said he will definitely return for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, while Bills head coach Sean McDermott said it's too early to make a declaration, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.

While player and coach aren't quite in agreement, McDermott did say Taylor will be the starter whenever he's healthy enough to play. The Bills may be inclined to let Taylor play even if he isn't quite back to 100 percent, as backup quarterback Nathan Peterman had to be removed from Sunday's 13-7 win over the Colts after suffering a concussion. In the unlikely event neither Taylor nor Peterman is available, Joe Webb would get the start against Miami in Week 15.

  • Bills' Nathan Peterman: Lands in concussion protocol

Peterman is in the NFL's concussion protocol, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.

With Tyrod Taylor (knee) unable to play and Peterman forced out early, Joe Webb finished off Sunday's 13-7 win over the Colts in the snow. Per Rodak, Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Monday that Taylor will still be the starter if he's healthy enough to play. Given that he managed limited practice Thursday and Friday, the mobile veteran seems to be on the right track for Sunday's home game against the Dolphins. Buffalo figures to have Taylor or Peterman, if not both, available for that game.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Still the starter if healthy

Bills head coach Sean McDermott reiterated Monday that Taylor (knee) will still be the starting quarterback if he's healthy, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.

With Taylor inactive and Nathan Peterman forced out by a concussion, jack-of-all-trades Joe Webb finished out Sunday's 13-7 overtime win over the Colts. It did seem Taylor was nearly able to play, potentially setting him up for a return in Week 15 against the Dolphins. He was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, with the Bills viewing him as a game-time decision (and ultimately ruling him out) ahead of Sunday's eventual snowy victory. The Bills' injury report will require close monitoring throughout the week, with top wideout Kelvin Benjamin (knee) presumably also set to make an appearance after aggravating the knee in which he recently suffered a torn meniscus.
