After acquiring quarterback Ryan Mallett from the Patriots, the Texans waived quarterback Case Keenum, reports ESPN's Adam Caplan. Keenum played in eight games last year, accounting for 10 touchdowns and eight turnovers while completing 54.2 percent of his passes.

The Ravens signed quarterback Keith Wenning and defensive tackle A.J. Pataiali'i to their practice squad, reports the Baltimore Sun.

The Chargers announced their final round of roster cuts on Saturday, paring their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.

The following players were let go by San Diego: WR Vincent Brown, LB Victor Aiyewa, DT Chas Alecxih, WR Torrence Allen, CB Crezdon Butler, S Alden Darby, CB Greg Ducre, TE Mike Flacco, T Michael Harris , WR Javontee Herndon, OLB Thomas Keiser, DL Joe Kruger, OLB Cordarro Law, S Adrian Phillips, WR Tevin Reese, T Jeremiah Sirles, QB Brad Sorensen, OLB Colton Underwood, G Craig Watts, T Kenny Wiggins, C Khalil Wilkes and DL Doug Worthington.

The Jaguars have pared down their roster to 53 on Saturday by cutting 20 players.

The players on that list are: C Michael Brewster, G Drew Nowak, DE Gerald Rivers, QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Chad Bumphis, FB Eric Kettani, TE Brandon Barden, OT Cody Booth, DL Deandre Coleman, DT Ricky Heimuli, S Craig Loston, QB Stephen Morris, K/P Kasey Redfern, G Tyler Shatley, TE D.J. Tialavea, LB Marcus Whitfield, WR Kerry Taylor, S Sherrod Martin, LB Nate Stupar and CB Jamell Fleming.

The Bills trimmed their active roster down to 53 on Saturday, cutting the following players: LB Xavius Boyd, DT Landon Cohen, TE Dominique Jones, CB Kamaal McIlwain, CB Sam Miller, P Brian Moorman, QB Jordan Palmer, FB Evan Rodriguez, WR Naaman Roosevelt, C Jared Wheeler, QB Jeff Tuel, S Deon Broomfield, LB Jimmy Gaines, WR T.J. Graham, WR Caleb Holley, DE Ikponmwosa Igbinosun, DE Bryan Johnson, S Kenny Ladler, C Doug Legursky and G Antoine McClain.

The Ravens are down to 53 players, thanks to a series of Saturday cuts.

The offensive players now gone are linemen Parker Graham, A.Q. Shipley and Ryan Jensen, tight end Phillip Supernaw, quarterback Keith Wenning and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint.

Those on defense include defensive backs Dominique Franks, Derek Cox, Tramain Jacobs and Sammy Seamster, linebacker John Simon and linemen Jamie Meder and A.J. Pataiali'i.

The team also placed wide receiver Jeremy Butler on injured reserve.

Undrafted rookie quarterback Connor Shaw was impressive for the Browns in exhibition play, but a desire to keep veteran Rex Grossman has motivated the team to cut him.

Shaw could find his way onto the practice squad.

The Chargers have released reserve quarterback Brad Sorensen and wide receiver Tevin Reese. Both were seventh-round picks - the former in 2013 and the latter in 2014.

Sorensen did not take a snap last year.

The Ravens have cut A.Q. Shipley, who started nine games last season, and fellow guard Ryan Jensen.

Also gone is rookie quarterback Keith Wenning as the team is set to go with two players at that position on its roster to start the regular season.
