Jets general manager John Idzik said the team will look at quarterbacks during the offseason.

He added that the team believes Geno Smith played well, but will consider upgrades at every position. Idzik said Smith was resilient during his rookie season, and he's glad to have him moving forward. That said, the team could consider upgrades to give Smith more time to grow. Smith threw 12 touchdowns to 21 interceptions during his rookie season.

The Jaguars aren't sure what to do with quarterback Blaine Gabbert.

General manager Dave Caldwell said he wouldn't mind bringing Gabbert back. At the very least, Caldwell said, Gabbert could be an above-average backup. However, he also said the team could re-sign Chad Henne. If the team re-signs Henne and drafts a quarterback with the third pick, Gabbert would likely not return. Gabbert started three games this season.

Dennis Allen, who expects to return as Raiders' coach in 2014, said he's not sure the team's quarterback of the future is on the roster. "Yeah, well, I think that's a position that we've got to make sure that we address," Allen said, per ESPN.com. 

"I'm not sure that we have the quarterback of the future in the building right now, but again I think we'll go through the offseason evaluation process, I think we'll go back through all the tapes, we'll comb through everything. I do think we have a better idea of what we have at the quarterback position, but again I think, listen, that's the most important position on the football field."

Terrelle Pryor started 10 games for Oakland, Matt McGloin six.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford said he was stunned by the firing of coach Jim Schwartz and disappointed that Detroit's entire offensive staff was let go, reports MLive.com. "I'll miss him a ton," Stafford said of offensive coordinator Scott Linehan.

"He, (quarterback coach Todd Downing), and really all the guys on offense, we did a lot of really good things here. In five years, set a bunch of records and played some of the best offensive football this franchise has ever seen."

Stafford was brutal in Detroit's 1-6 finish, throwing 10 touchdowns and committing 14 turnovers.

Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert said Monday he wants to return to the team and compete for the starting quarterback job in 2014.

Gabbert lost his starting job to Chad Henne after dealing with some injuries early in the season. He made three starts -- all losses -- completing 48.8 percent of his passes (42 of 86) for 481 yards, one touchdown and seven interceptions.

Bills quarterback Thad Lewis is no Pro Bowler, but he is at least consistent. He has passed for between 197 and 247 yards in each of his five starts this season. He hit the high end of those totals Sunday at New England.

Lewis appeared unlikely to approach that number after passing just eight times in the first half, completing three for 62 yards. But he came on strong after intermission, hitting T.J. Graham on a 41-yard pass and 12-yard touchdown off a run fake in the third quarter.

He finished 16 of 29 for the 247 yards and score.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers overcame a rusty start as he led his team on a come-from-behind win over the Bears in Week 17, his first game back from a broken collarbone in Week 17 against the Bears.

In his first game back since Week 9, Rodgers was intercepted in the end zone by Chris Conte. Tim Jennings picked off Rodgers on the second play of the second quarter. Rodgers bounced back in the second half with a 7-yard touchdown to Randall Cobb in the third quarter.

On a 4th-and-8 with 38 seconds remaining, Rodgers showed some late-game heroics as he found Cobb in the end zone for a 48-yard strike to take the lead and to win the game. He completed 25 of 39 passes for 318 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 33-28 victory.

The Packers will host the 49ers in the opening round of the playoffs.

Quarterback Russell Wilson didn't have to do much in the Week 17 win over the Rams as the Seahawks' defense dominated. Wilson started slowly and finished 15 of 23 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown while not committing a turnover.

It was the fourth straight game in which Wilson passed for a single touchdown. He carried five times for minus-1 yard. Wilson's favorite target was Golden Tate: the duo hooked up eight times, including on a 47-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. 

Wilson finishes the regular season with 3,304 passing yards, 27 total touchdowns and 14 turnovers.

Eagles safety Earl Wolff leads the team's list of inactives at Dallas. Wolff re-injured his knee in last week's win over the Bears. 

Also sitting out are center Julian Vandervelde (back), safety Colt Anderson (knee), quarterback Matt Barkley, cornerback Curtis Marsh, running back Matthew Tucker and offensive lineman Dennis Kelly.

Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins had a miserable day in the rain Sunday, completing 19-of-49 passes for 169 yards and no touchdowns in a 20-6 loss to the Giants. Cousins was intercepted twice, lost a fumble, and was sacked three times. 

Cousins never got into a groove, and finished with his worst numbers since being named starter in Week 15. It was an ugly day for offense overall in this game, as the teams combined for 10 punts in the first half alone. 

With an offseason of uncertaintly ahead for Washington, there is no clear role for Cousins in 2014. He finishes 2013 with four passing touchdowns and seven interceptions.
