  • Raiders' Aidan O'Connell: Enters in relief again

O'Connell completed 10 of 20 passes for 93 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 34-18 loss to the Broncos.

For the second time in the last three games, O'Connell replaced Gardner Minshew. O'Connell took over late in the third quarter and led four uneven possessions. He did lead a touchdown drive, during which he went 8-for-11 for 79 yards, though it came in garbage time and he rarely pushed the ball down the field. O'Connell also threw an interception and had a three-and-out. Despite O'Connell's ineffectiveness, coach Antonio Pierce declined to name a starter for a Week 6 matchup against the Steelers, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

  • Raiders' Gardner Minshew: Starting role in question

Minshew completed 12 of 17 passes for137 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 34-18 loss to the Broncos. He added two rushes for 22 yards.

Minshew began the game fairly well, as he led the Raiders on two lengthy drives that resulted in 10 points -- the first of which was capped by a 57-yard touchdown pass. However, things stalled from there, with the low point coming on a 100-yard pick-six by Patrick Surtain. After five additional scoreless drives and another interception, Minshew was pulled late in the third quarter. That marks the second time he's been benched in the last three games, and after the loss, coach Antonio Pierce did not rule out a change under center, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

  • Brock Purdy QB | SF

49ers' Brock Purdy: Throws two picks Sunday

Purdy completed 19 of 35 pass attempts for 244 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 24-23 loss to Arizona.

Purdy and San Francisco's offense had the team in position to win this favored contest before a horrific second half saw the home team fall by one point. Both NFC West clubs sit at 2-3 now, but the 49ers were expected to be championship contenders while the Cardinals are in the midst of a rebuild. This was easily Purdy's worst fantasy game through five weeks, but fantasy managers shouldn't panic about their quarterback given Purdy's success last season, plus the plethora of weapons the 49ers can offer when healthy.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: No Nabers, no problem

Jones completed 23 of 34 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 29-20 win over the Seahawks. He added 11 rushing attempts for 38 yards.

Jones overcame adversity on multiple fronts to get the Giants to 2-3, as New York was missing wide receiver Malik Nabers (concussion) and running back Devin Singletary (concussion), and the Giants fell into an early hole when Eric Gray's fumble just outside the goal line was returned 100 yards the other way for a Seattle touchdown. Jones helped the offense bounce back by leading the Giants right back down the field on a drive capped by a seven-yard touchdown pass to Wan'Dale Robinson in the second quarter, then added a 30-yard touchdown pass to Darius Slayton in the third. Up next for Jones is a primetime matchup against the Bengals on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.

  • Kyler Murray QB | ARI

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Two touchdowns in comback victory

Murray completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 195 yards, one touchdown and one interception while adding 83 rushing yards and a touchdown on seven attempts in Sunday's 24-23 win over the 49ers.

Murray ripped off a 50-yard touchdown run on Arizona's opening drive to boost fantasy managers' scores early in the contest. The dual-threat quarterback did not have a huge day passing the ball, finishing under 200 yards in that category for the third time this season. That said, Murray's combination of rushing and throwing stats together make him a solid fantasy option overall. Up next for the Cardinals is a road tilt against the Packers next Sunday,

  • Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: Can't pull off comeback Sunday

Brissett completed 18 of 34 passes for 160 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and added a 10-yard rush on his only carry in the Patriots' 15-10 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.

Brissett put together another middling passing performance overall, mustering his fifth straight sub-170-yard tally to open the campaign. Brissett also failed to throw a touchdown for the third time in five contests, although he did see what could have been a game-winning scoring strike to Ja'Lynn Polk reversed on replay when it was ruled the receiver did not bring down his heel inbounds. Head coach Jerod Mayo appears steadfast in his commitment to not expose rookie Drake Maye too early considering his team's offensive-line issues, so Brissett appears likely to start a Week 6 home matchup against the Texans.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Huge performance not enough Sunday

Burrow completed 30 of 39 passes for 392 yards and five touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens. He added one rushing yard on two carries.

The five TDs were a career high for Burrow, and most of his production went to Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, who combined for a massive 19-276-4 line on 26 targets. Burrow has a dazzling 12:2 TD:INT over the last four games as the Bengals' offense has ramped back up to its peak form, but the team has only one win in that stretch to show for it. He'll try once again to out-chuck his atrocious defense in Week 6 against the Giants.

  • Trey Lance QB | LAC

Cowboys' Trey Lance: Emergency QB for Week 5

Lance (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers but will be available as the emergency third quarterback.

As has been the case all season, Lance will only see the field if Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush are both forced to leave Sunday's game.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Steelers' Russell Wilson: Remains emergency No. 3 QB

Wilson (calf) is inactive as the Steelers' emergency No. 3 quarterback for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Wilson has resumed mixing into 11-on-11 drills as he ramps things up in his recovery from a lingering calf injury, but he remained listed as a limited participant in practice this past week. Against Dallas, he'll remain the team's emergency No. 3 quarterback for the fifth straight contest, with Justin Fields slated to get another start at QB for the 3-1 Steelers and Kyle Allen available in a backup capacity.

  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Dolphins' Tyler Huntley: Pedestrian numbers in win

Huntley completed 18 of 31 passes for 194 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and rushed three times for seven yards in the Dolphins' 15-10 win over the Patriots on Sunday.

Huntley put together another lackluster performance overall, and unlike in a Monday night loss to the Titans six days earlier, he couldn't complement his passing production with his legs. However, Huntley did look smoother when dropping back, more than doubling the 96 passing yards he'd mustered versus Tennessee and connecting with the trio of Tyreek Hill, Jonnu Smith and Jaylen Waddle on 15 occasions. Given Miami was able to pull off the road win, Huntley figures to retain the starting job for a Week 7 road matchup against the Colts on Sunday, Oct. 20 following a Week 6 bye, the final game before Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is eligible to come off injured reserve.
