Winston completed four of five passes for 30 yards in Saturday's 23-10 preseason loss to the Packers.

The veteran quarterback led the Browns' offensive starters to a field goal on the team's first possession, but Cleveland wouldn't score again until the fourth quarter. Winston was working without any of the Browns' top targets, instead connecting with the likes of Cedric Tillman, David Bell (quadriceps) and Michael Woods before handing the reins over to Tyler Huntley. Winston will head into Week 1 as the primary backup to Deshaun Watson, a job that could result in him seeing more action than expected considering Watson has played only 12 total games over the prior two seasons.

Love completed both his pass attempts for 63 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 23-10 preseason win over the Browns.

With a new four-year, $220 million contract extension in his pocket, Love played the opening drive in the Packers' preseason opener and made quick work of the Cleveland defense, hitting Dontayvion Wicks for a 65-yard touchdown on his second completion after Josh Jacobs got dropped for a two-yard loss on his first. Love is coming off an impressive first season as Green Bay's starting QB, and further development -- both from him and from his young receiving corps -- should allow him to find another level. The team hasn't yet indicated if he'll see more action in next Sunday's exhibition clash with the Broncos.

Carr started the Saints' 16-14 preseason win over the Cardinals on Saturday night and completed two of six passes for 12 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.

Carr played on the Saints' first two possessions and counted a 10-yard completion to Chris Olave on his second pass attempt as the highlight of his short night. The veteran signal-caller is locked in as New Orleans' top quarterback heading into his second season with the franchise, although a lackluster campaign could put his long-term future with the team into question.

Minshew completed six of 12 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 24-23 preseason loss to the Vikings.

While he wasn't exactly efficient, Minshew put points on the board quickly for the Raiders after taking the reins from Aidan O'Connell to begin the second quarter. Minshew tossed a 20-yard strike to DJ Turner for the game's first touchdown, then led two more scoring drives before halftime, including one capped by a two-yard TD plunge from Zamir White. The battle between O'Connell and Minshew for the Week 1 starting job would appear to be a dead heat heading into Las Vegas' next preseason contest against Dallas next Saturday.

O'Connell completed seven of nine passes for 76 yards in Saturday's 24-23 preseason loss to the Vikings.

The second-year QB was expected to see about a quarter of action in the Raiders' preseason opener, but O'Connell wound up being under center for only a single possession as he led Las Vegas on a nearly eight-minute drive that ended in a first-quarter field goal. Gardner Minshew then took over to begin the second quarter and engineered three quick scoring drives before halftime, including two touchdowns. While O'Connell getting the start might suggest he's ahead in the battle to be the Week 1 starter, Minshew had a lot more success putting points on the board. The competition will likely continue into next Saturday's clash with the Cowboys.

Rattler completed nine of 17 passes for 70 yards and tallied two carries for eight yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 16-14 preseason win at Arizona.

No. 1 signal-caller Derek Carr handled the Saints' first two offensive possessions Saturday, while Jake Haener got the rest of the QB reps in the first half. After halftime, Rattler, a 2024 fourth-round pick, entered for his first NFL action, putting together an immediate scoring drive that ended in his four-yard scramble for a TD. He then went three straight drives that ended in punts before leading a game-winning drive for a field goal. The breakdown of reps between Haener and Rattler may indicate the former is leading the competition for the backup role, but the latter's performance could put him on a path to eventually grabbing the No. 2 gig for good.

Trask started the Buccaneers' 17-14 preseason win over the Bengals on Saturday night and completed 12 of 20 passes for 144 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed twice for one yard and fumbled once but recovered.

Trask played the entire first half and was able to lead only one scoring drive, an eight-play, 77-yard march where he recorded completions of 24, 19 and 21 yards to Ryan Miller, Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer, respectively. Trask is now in his third preseason with the Buccaneers, but unlike last summer, he's going through the exhibition slate as the clear No. 2 quarterback behind Baker Mayfield. While Mayfield should see some playing time in next Saturday's road matchup against the Jaguars, Trask should also see his fair share of snaps after the latter is finished for the night.

Burrow completed five of seven passes for 51 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in the Bengals' 17-14 preseason loss to the Buccaneers on Saturday night.

Given the quarterback's 2023 season was cut short by a mid-November wrist injury, head coach Zac Taylor made the decision to get Burrow some playing time right out of the gate in the preseason opener. The 2020 first-round pick played on the opening possession and led a crisp 12-play, 73-yard march that he capped off with a 10-yard touchdown pass to Tee Higgins. In the process, Burrow had nine-yard completions to Higgins and Trenton Irwin, as well as a 23-yard connection with the emerging Andrei Iosivas. Given how well he played Saturday and his importance to the Bengals' fortunes, Burrow could be limited in playing time during next Saturday afternoon's road exhibition matchup against the Bears.

Allen completed seven of 13 pass attempts for 98 yards while getting the nod under center in Saturday's preseason tilt against Tennessee.

San Francisco rested most of its starting offense Saturday, allowing Allen to start the first half and journeyman backup Joshua Dobbs to handle the remaining snaps. The latter (14-of-20 for 146 yards) looked better in the competition to be Brock Purdy's backup, but Allen had to face the opponent's starting defense and was also saddled with two incompletions due to drops. Neither signal-caller will be on fantasy radars come Week 1, as Purdy will be running the well-oiled machine that is the 49ers' offense when the regular season kicks off.

Levis completed four of five pass attempts for 35 yards while making two rushing attempts for three yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason win over San Francisco.

Levis started the game's first two drives along with the rest of Tennessee's first unit as the offense looks to build a new identity under head coach Brian Callahan. The big-framed quarterback scored a rushing touchdown from in close, something we may see more often now that power back Derrick Henry is in Baltimore. With a revamped coaching staff and receiving corps, 2024 is poised to be a pivotal year for Levis' development both as the Titans' franchise quarterback and as a rising fantasy asset.
