  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Broncos' Russell Wilson: Trows three TDs in comeback win

Wilson completed 21 of 28 passes for 223 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 31-28 win over Chicago.

Wilson opened the scoring with an 18-yard touchdown pass on a screen to Jaleel McLaughlin, but Chicago responded with four unanswered touchdowns before Wilson cut the deficit to 28-14 with a four-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Johnson. The veteran quarterback added a 13-yard touchdown to Courtland Sutton in the fourth quarter, which was followed by a Denver defensive score to tie it up, a Denver field goal and a Justin Fields interception to end it. After picking up their first win under coach Sean Payton, Wilson and the Broncos will look to build on this victory in a Week 5 home game against the Jets. Payton's arrival has had a positive impact on Wilson's production, as the multi-time Pro Bowler has a 9:2 TD:INT through four games in 2023 after posting a disappointing 16:11 TD:INT across 15 starts in his first season with the Broncos.

  • C.J. Stroud QB | HOU

Texans' C.J. Stroud: Sharp in win over Steelers

Stroud completed 16 of 30 passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Steelers. He added 16 rushing yards on four carries.

The rookie quarterback connected with Nico Collins for TDs in the first and fourth quarters while playing error-free football all afternoon. Perhaps the most impressive stat for Stroud was that he took zero sacks from a Pittsburgh pass rush headed by T.J. Watt despite working behind an offensive line missing both starting tackles and down to a third-string center. Stroud has a 6:0 TD:INT through his first four NFL games, giving him plenty of confidence heading into a Week 5 road clash with the Falcons.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Nearly perfect in big win

Allen completed 21 of 25 passes for 320 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in the Bills' 48-20 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. He also rushed four times for 17 yards and another score.

Allen's final numbers underscore how efficient the red-hot signal-caller was against the previously undefeated Dolphins, as he led a game plan that was aggressive right out of the gate. He got Buffalo on the board first via an 18-yard touchdown dart to Gabe Davis to cap off the opening drive, and Allen went on to add 11- and 55-yard scoring tosses to Stefon Diggs before halftime, the latter of which gave the Bills a two-touchdown lead. Allen would add a 13-yard strike to Diggs late in the third quarter and take it in himself from 11 yards out on the first play of the fourth to put an exclamation point on the statement divisional win. After a three-interception night Week 1 against the Jets, Allen has roared back to post an 8:1 TD:INT while completing 76.6 percent of his passes over the next three games. Allen and the Bills now will look to keep their offense clicking across the pond in a Week 5 London showdown against the Jaguars.

  • Bryce Young QB | CAR

Panthers' Bryce Young: Costly fumble in return

Young completed 25 of 32 passes for 204 yards in Sunday's 21-13 loss to the Vikings. He also rushed twice for 10 yards but was sacked five times and had a fumble returned for a touchdown.

Young returned from his one-week absence to post personal bests in completions and passing yards, but his performance wasn't enough to earn a first victory. In fact, Young's fumble during the third quarter saw Carolina fall behind and never recover. Without any touchdowns, either, it was another learning experience for the rookie No. 1 pick.

  • Bears' Justin Fields: Stellar performance in defeat

Fields completed 28 of 35 passes for 335 yards with four touchdowns and one interception in the Bears' 31-28 loss to the Broncos on Sunday. He also rushed four times for 25 yards and lost a fumble returned for a score.

Fields had the Bears offense clicking on all cylinders during a first half that culminated with Chicago holding a 21-7 lead. Those first two quarters included a nifty 29-yard touchdown throw to DJ Moore on which the receiver made an excellent catch along the right sideline in the end zone, along with 22- and three-yard scoring tosses to Cole Kmet on which Fields used his mobility to buy time. The talented signal-caller's final touchdown -- and the Bears' final points -- would come on a two-yard pass to Khalil Herbert with 4:11 remaining in the third quarter, as Chicago subsequently punted once, had a Fields' fumble returned for a game-tying touchdown and saw the quarterback toss a game-ending interception at the Broncos' 36-yard line. Despite the unfavorable outcome, Fields' breakout may serve as a launchpad after a relatively quiet first three games of the season, and he and the Bears will have a chance to try and wash away the bad taste from Sunday's loss when they face the Commanders on the road on Thursday night in Week 5.

  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Vikings' Kirk Cousins: Poor performance in win

Cousins completed 13 of 19 passes for 139 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 21-13 win over the Panthers.

Cousins got off to a brutal start, having an interception returned 99 yards for a touchdown during the first quarter. Although he threw another pick prior to halftime, Cousins at least found star wideout Justin Jefferson for touchdowns from four and 30 yards. After topping 340 yards in each of the first three weeks, Cousins' season-low output Sunday nonetheless didn't prevent Minnesota from winning its first game.

  • Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN

Steelers' Mitch Trubisky: Needed late in Week 4 loss

Trubisky completed three of five passes for 18 yards after replacing Kenny Pickett (knee) in Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Texans.

Pickett was injured on a Jonathan Greenard sack, forcing Trubisky to take the reins of the offense for the entire fourth quarter. The 29-year-old QB did little with the opportunity -- his longest completion went for just eight yards -- but Houston also held a 23-6 lead when Trubisky entered the game, and Pittsburgh didn't make an aggressive attempt to mount a comeback. It's not clear at this point how serious Pickett's injury is, but if he's unavailable in Week 5, Trubisky would get the start at home against a tough but injury-riddled Ravens defense.

  • Kenny Pickett QB | CAR

Steelers' Kenny Pickett: Suffers knee injury Sunday

Pickett won't return to Sunday's game against the Texans after suffering a left knee injury.

Before his exit, Pickett completed 15 of his 23 passing attempts for 114 yards and an interception while carrying twice for nine yards. Mitch Trubisky will take over at quarterback for the remainder of Sunday's contest and possibly beyond if Pickett's knee injury ends up being anything other than a minor issue.

  • Trey Lance QB | LAC

Cowboys' Trey Lance: Reprising emergency QB role

Lance (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots but is designated as the Cowboys' emergency quarterback, Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Lance has filled the emergency QB role in each of the Cowboys' first four games of the season. The third-year pro will only see action against New England if both Dak Prescott and backup Cooper Rush are forced to exit the game due to injury.

  • Falcons' Desmond Ridder: Three turnovers in Week 4 loss

Ridder completed 19 of 31 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions and one lost fumble in Sunday's 23-7 loss to the Jaguars.

He also added six rushing yards on one carry. Ridder put on another lackluster performance, punctuated by a 61-yard pick-six thrown to Jacksonville's Darious Williams late in the second quarter, but the second-year quarterback did mange to hit Drake London for a 15-yard score on Atlanta's first possession of the second half. Ridder also got sacked four times, the third time in four games he's been brought down at least that many times. Ridder and the Falcons' offense will try to turn things around in Week 5 at home against the Texans.
