Joshua Dobbs QB | NE
Cardinals' Joshua Dobbs: Gets another start
Coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed that Dobbs will remain Arizona's starting QB on Sunday versus the Giants, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
In the Cardinals' season-opening 20-16 loss to the Commanders, Dobbs completed 21 of 30 passes for 132 yards without a TD or pick, while carrying three times for minus-3 yards and recording three fumbles (two lost). He'll look to pick up the pace this weekend against a Giants team that dropped a 40-0 decision to the Cowboys on Sunday night, but he still profiles as a speculative fantasy lineup play while filling in for Arizona's injured franchise QB Kyler Murray (knee), who is currently on the reserve/PUP list.

Holton Ahlers QB | SEA
Holton Ahlers: Leaving Seattle's practice squad
The Seahawks cut Ahlers from their practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Just a week after joining the practice squad, Ahlers is now set to become a free agent. The undrafted rookie will have to look for another opportunity to make an impression with a different team.

Gardner Minshew QB | ARI
Colts' Gardner Minshew: Throws two passes late in relief
Minshew went 0-for-2 passing in Sunday's loss to Jacksonville as he played on the offense's final three plays at the goal line with starting quarterback Anthony Richardson exiting with a knee bruise.
Minshew couldn't convert on a second-and-goal situation on the game's final meaningful plays. Richardson said after the game that he's fine and is expected to play next week against Houston. If not, Minshew would get the start as he's firmly entrenched as the backup.

Tyrod Taylor QB | NYJ
Giants' Tyrod Taylor: Gets mop-up work
Taylor completed both of his pass attempts for six yards in Sunday's blowout loss to the Cowboys.
The contest was out of reach for New York at 40-0 amidst pouring rain by the middle of the fourth quarter, so it's somewhat surprising that Daniel Jones was left in the game until there was just over a minute left on the clock. Taylor entered and completed a couple dump-off passes to backup tailback Gary Brightwell that netted six yards before the timer mercifully ran down on a disastrous season-opener for the Giants. The organization made a huge commitment to Jones -- who completed just 15 of 28 pass attempts for 104 yards and two interceptions Sunday -- with a four-year deal in the offseason, so Taylor isn't likely to play more than a backup role even if the incumbent QB gets off to a slow start.

Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Benched in blowout loss
Jones completed 15 of 28 pass attempts for 104 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 43 yards on 13 attempts in Sunday's 40-0 loss to Dallas.
Jones picked the wrong time to have his worst performance as a pro, as it came in the home opener following a wealthy contract extension this past offseason. Head coach Brian Daboll tried to let his struggling starter get things going in the second half, but things didn't improve, and he was forced to bring in Tyrod Taylor in garbage time. There isn't much of a silver lining to note either, other than that Jones managed to recover his two fumbles to avoid a four-turnover day. It is difficult to recommend a player after laying a dud, but anyone who started Jones this week should at least consider taking advantage of the upcoming soft matchup against Arizona next Sunday.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Little volume in blowout win
Prescott completed 13 of 24 pass attempts for 143 yards and no touchdowns or turnovers in Sunday's 40-0 blowout victory over the Giants.
The defense was the star of Sunday's landslide with two touchdowns, while Tony Pollard took care of most of the scoring on offense, leaving little for Prescott to accomplish in a comfortable win over a division rival. The 30-year-old completed only 54 percent of his passes, but part of that can be attributed to the slick playing conditions created by heavy rain at various points in the contest. Prescott and the rest of Dallas' passing offense will likely enjoy the dryer conditions at AT&T Stadium when the Cowboys host the Jets next Sunday.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Terrible Week 1 performance
Tannehill completed 16 of 34 passes for 198 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions in Sunday's 16-15 loss to the Saints.
Tannehill got off to a slow start, connecting on only five of his first 14 attempts through the first half. Things didn't improve from there, as his two picks in the final two quarters led directly to 10 points for the Saints in the second half. Tannehill will likely remain the starter so long as the Titans have hopes of competing in 2023, though this wasn't a positive start to his campaign. Both Malik Willis and Will Levis could become viable alternatives at some point in the schedule.

Mac Jones QB | SF
Patriots' Mac Jones: Attempts 54 passes
Jones completed 35 of 54 passes for 316 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Eagles.
Jones and the Patriots fell behind 16-0 before the close of the first quarter, forcing the team to take to the air. That helped him reach 300 passing yards despite averaging only 5.8 yards per attempt. The highlights of Jones' performance came just before halftime and the close of the game, when he found Kendrick Bourne for a pair of scores from 19 and 11 yards away. The game took place in rain-soaked conditions, but Jones will have to increase his efficiency if he hopes to keep pace with the high-flying Dolphins offense in Week 2.

Geno Smith QB | NYJ
Seahawks' Geno Smith: Quiet in home opener
Smith completed 16 of 26 pass attempts for 112 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Rams.
Smith led a flat passing attack that couldn't keep up with a Cooper Kupp-less Rams team. The veteran didn't make any egregious mistakes, and better days should be ahead from a fantasy perspective. The 2022 Comeback Player of the Year will attempt to come back from this dud when Seattle takes on Detroit on Sunday.

Jimmy Garoppolo QB | LAR
Raiders' Jimmy Garoppolo: Gets first win with LV
Garoppolo completed 20 of 26 pass attempts for 200 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Broncos.
Garoppolo had a successful debut with the Raiders after signing a three-year, $67.5 million contract this past offseason. The 31-year-old looked healthy following offseason foot surgery, completing 77 percent of his passes and even taking off for an eight-yard scramble to extend a drive. Garoppolo got off to a good start against a tough defense, but he doesn't excite as a starter in fantasy. He will face another stiff test with his new club when the Raiders stay on the road to take on the Bills in Week 2.
