Tommy DeVito QB | NE
Patriots' Tommy DeVito: Emergency QB for Week 12
DeVito (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Patriots' emergency third quarterback against the Bengals on Sunday.
DeVito is the reserve quarterback behind Drake Maye and Joshua Dobbs, and is restricted from playing Sunday unless both are removed from the game due to injury, illness or ejection. DeVito has yet to appear in a single regular-season game in 2025.

Will Howard QB | PIT
Steelers' Will Howard: Backup QB for Week 12
Howard is active for Sunday's game against the Bears, where he'll serve as the backup quarterback behind Mason Rudolph, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Howard opened the season on injured reserve due to a fractured right hand, and after being activated off IR on Nov. 12, he served as the Steelers' emergency third quarterback in Week 11 against the Bengals. However, with Aaron Rodgers (wrist) ruled out for Sunday's clash against Chicago, Howard will be on the active roster for the first time this season and will be available to play in case Rudolph is removed from the game. During his final collegiate season at Ohio State, Howard completed 73.0 percent of his passes for 4,010 yards, 35 touchdowns and 10 interceptions across 16 games.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Bears' Case Keenum: Inactive for Week 12
Keenum (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Keenum has not logged a snap this season, and his closest opportunity for action has been as an emergency third quarterback. With Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent healthy, Keenum will continue to be inactive for the foreseeable future.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Not suiting up Sunday
Rodgers (wrist) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bears, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
After suffering a non-displaced fracture to his left (non-throwing) wrist during last week's win over the Bengals, Rodgers made a spirited bid to attempt to play Sunday, but he ultimately didn't heal enough for the Steelers to feel comfortable having him suit up in Chicago. With Rodgers set to miss his first game of the season, Mason Rudolph will draw the start at quarterback, while rookie Will Howard serves as his backup. Rodgers won't need surgery to address his injury, and while the early expectation is that he'll be able to return to action Week 13 against the Bills, he'll likely need to wear a protective brace on the wrist.

Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Steelers' Mason Rudolph: Drawing Week 12 start
Rudolph is slated to start at quarterback in Sunday's game against the Bears, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
He'll be filling in for Aaron Rodgers, who had been listed as questionable but wasn't able to make enough progress in his recovery from a non-displaced left wrist fracture to play through the injury Sunday. Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Rodgers should be able to play next weekend against the Bills, but Rudolph will get the starting nod in Week 12, which makes him a pivot option for fantasy managers who would normally utilize Rodgers in lineups.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Not slated to start Sunday
Rodgers (wrist) remains listed as questionable but isn't in line to start Sunday's game against the Bears, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Per Rapoport, Rodgers was pushing to play Sunday, but after he sat out one practice and was limited in two others due to a non-displaced left wrist fracture, he'll give way to Mason Rudolph in Week 12. Rodgers is expected to return to the lineup Nov. 30 against the Bills, provided he experiences no setbacks in his recovery during Week 13 prep.

Michael Penix Jr. QB | ATL
Falcons' Michael Penix: Surgery coming this week
Penix is scheduled to undergo full reconstructive ACL surgery on his left knee in Los Angeles during the upcoming week and is expected to face a nine-month recovery, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
With Penix set for season-ending surgery, Kirk Cousins will take over as the Falcons' new starting quarterback beginning with Sunday's game in New Orleans. Even though Penix's estimated nine-month recovery timeline would give him a chance to be ready to play by Week 1 of the 2026 campaign, head coach Raheem Morris acknowledged that Penix's medical history will likely prompt the team to make alternative plans at quarterback -- whether that's retaining Cousins or bringing aboard someone else -- this coming offseason as a safeguard. During his time in college, Penix previously underwent surgeries to repair the ACL in his right knee in 2018 and 2020, and he also had two other seasons end early due to joint injuries to each of his shoulders.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Status for Sunday still uncertain
Rodgers (wrist), who is officially questionable for Sunday's matchup against Chicago, "has been pushing to play," but Steelers doctors have been "cautious and guarded" about clearing the veteran quarterback, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Schefter notes that if Rodgers is left to decide his status, he'll play, but adds that Pittsburgh hasn't given any hints about the outcome of the decision. Rodgers is dealing with a minor fracture to his left (non-throwing) wrist that isn't expected to require surgery, and he has suggested that the determination about his ability to suit up Sunday hinges on whether the issue will inhibit him from protecting himself. Fantasy managers may not know Rodgers' playing status until the Steelers release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, and at this point, his likelihood of playing seems to be about 50/50. Mason Rudolph would draw the start in Chicago if Rodgers is unable to play through the injury.

Bailey Zappe QB | CLE
Browns' Bailey Zappe: Elevated for Week 12
Zappe was elevated from the Browns' practice squad Saturday.
This marks the second time that Zappe has been elevated from the Browns' practice quad this season. The 26-year-old will be operating as the No. 2 quarterback, with Shedeur Sanders making his first career NFL start in place of Dillon Gabriel (concussion). Zappe started one game for the Browns in 2024, completing 16 of 31 passes for 170 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Joe Flacco QB | CIN
Bengals' Joe Flacco: Set to start Sunday
Flacco will start Sunday's game against the Patriots with the Bengals electing not to activate Joe Burrow (toe) from injured reserve this week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Burrow was a full participant in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable following Friday's session, but the Bengals have ultimately decided to give him four more days to rest up in preparation of having him make his return from IR ahead of next Thursday's game in Baltimore. As a result, Flacco will be under center for a sixth straight game while Jake Browning serves as the Bengals' backup quarterback. With Ja'Marr Chase (suspension) sitting out Sunday, wideouts Tee Higgins and Andrei Iosivas, tight ends Noah Fant and Mike Gesicki and running back Chase Brown will operate as Flacco's top pass-catching options versus New England. Assuming Burrow incurs now setbacks during the upcoming week, Flacco will likely be headed for the backup role for the Thanksgiving Day game against the Ravens.
