Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Returns to practice Thursday
Rodgers (thumb) returned to practice Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Rodgers appears to be following the same practice routine as last week, when he got back to all activity Thursday after an absence Wednesday as he tends to a right thumb issue sustained Week 5 against the Giants in London. He was spotted throwing with a tape job on the thumb, and Thursday's injury report ultimately will relay how much work he was able to handle.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Broncos' Russell Wilson: Remains limited at practice
Wilson (hamstring) will remain limited at practice Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Per Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com, coach Nathaniel Hackett indicated that Wilson did "very good" in Wednesday's practice, but at this stage the Broncos' QB plans for Sunday's game against the Jets have yet to be solidified. With that in mind, Hackett relayed to Stevens that the team is preparing Wilson, Brett Rypien and practice squad member Josh Johnson to play this weekend, with Wilson's Week 7 status TBD at this stage.

Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Panthers' Baker Mayfield: Spotted at practice
Mayfield (ankle) was present for practice Thursday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
It remains to be seen how the Panthers list the QB's participation level, but regardless of where Mayfield lands on Friday's final injury report, he won't be a candidate to start Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Per David Newton of ESPN.com, coach Steve Wilks already has named PJ Walker as the team's Week 7 starter, with Jacob Eason slated to handle backup duties.

Mac Jones QB | SF
Patriots' Mac Jones: Trending toward Week 7 return
Jones (ankle) expects to be available for Monday night's game against the Bears, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Jones, who has missed the Patriots' past three games with a high left-ankle sprain, appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of Week 7 action, with the report noting that the QB still has to clear a final hurdle at practice this week in order to return to action. Though coach Bill Belichick hasn't outlined the team's plans once Jones is healthy enough to play, Jeff Howe of The Athletic indicates that the signal-caller is on track to return as New England's starter at that juncture, while Bailey Zappe -- who has helmed two straight wins -- would then be in line to return to backup duty.

Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Saints' Andy Dalton: Signs point toward Thursday start
Dalton is trending toward a start Thursday versus the Cardinals, but the Saints have yet to officially name a starter, Katherine Terrell of ESPN reports.
Coach Dennis Allen declined to officially name a starter for Thursday between Dalton and Jameis Winston (back/ankle), saying "I think we'll just wait 'til game time," but Terrell reports that 'signs point' toward the team continuing to roll with Dalton on a short week. Winston remains limited in practice but doesn't have an injury designation, while Dalton practiced in full Wednesday after opening the week with back-to-back limited sessions. If Dalton indeed starts Thursday in Arizona, which may not become official until shortly before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, he will have standout rookie Chris Olave back from the concussion protocol, but he'll also have to operate without Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle), in addition to guard Andrus Peat (pectoral).

Skylar Thompson QB | BAL
Dolphins' Skylar Thompson: Limited in practice
Thompson (thumb) was listed as a limited participant on the Dolphins' practice report Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
While making his first NFL start, Thompson sustained a right thumb injury during the first half of Sunday's loss to the Vikings. Though the extent of the injury is still unclear, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that tests on Thompson's thumb were "more positive than negative," and that the quarterback will return "sooner rather than later," according to Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald. The third-string signal-caller will have two more practices to increase his activity in practice before this Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, though his potential absence shouldn't have much of an affect now that Tua Tagovailoa (concussion/ankle) and Teddy Bridgewater are both expected to be available Week 7. If that's the case, Thompson could find himself on the inactive list Sunday against the Steelers even if he enters the weekend without a designation.
-
Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Logs full practice Wednesday
Prescott (thumb) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
The "full" listing comes one day earlier than expected, as the plan for Prescott on Wednesday was to participate in a mock game, after which he was scheduled to throw 40-to-50 passes to his teammates, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. Prescott instead has bucked a "limited" practice and already is back to full activity, setting him up to return to action Sunday versus the Lions. While he's gained medical clearance to do so, the Cowboys have yet to name him the starting quarterback for that contest.
-
Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Limited by hip issue
Jackson was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a hip issue.
Despite Jackson's limitations to begin Week 7 prep, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site notes that head coach John Harbaugh didn't seem concerned about the quarterback's status for Sunday's game against the Browns. However, Jackson will likely need to practice fully by Friday in order to avoid a Week 7 injury designation.
-
Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Saints' Andy Dalton: Starting status remains unclear
Dalton (back) practiced fully Wednesday and doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game in Arizona.
Head coach Dennis Allen told Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football earlier Wednesday that he hasn't made a call on the Saints' starting quarterback for Week 7 between Dalton and Jameis Winston (back/ankle), the latter of whom was limited Monday through Wednesday but also avoided a designation for Thursday. Dalton himself opened the week with back-to-back capped sessions before logging every rep Wednesday, making it clear he's in a better spot than Winston from a health standpoint. Ultimately, Allen doesn't have to make his decision known before Thursday's kickoff, but if Dalton gets the nod, he again won't have wide receivers Michael Thomas (foot) or Jarvis Landry (ankle) at his disposal.
-
Jameis Winston QB | NYG
Saints' Jameis Winston: Available Week 7, but may not start
Winston (back/ankle) doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game at Arizona, but head coach Dennis Allen has yet to name the Saints' starting quarterback between Winston and Andy Dalton (back), Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The Saints have listed Winston as a limited participant on each of their last six injury reports, and while he'll be active for a second straight contest, it's unclear if he's healthy enough to usurp Dalton for the No. 1 role. Allen doesn't have to tip his hand at any point before Thursday's kickoff, but if Winston is deemed fit to start after missing two games due to four small fractures in his back and an ankle injury, he'll be doing so without wide receivers Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) and tight end Adam Trautman (ankle).
