  • Jeff Wilson RB | MIA

Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Expected to play Week 12

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that he expects Wilson to play in Friday's game against the Jets, Daniel Oyefusi of The Miami Herald reports.

Wilson was a healthy inactive in Miami's 20-13 win over the Raiders in Week 11, as the team welcomed De'Von Achane back from a knee injury. Per Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post, McDaniel mentioned Salvon Ahmed's special teams contributions as a reason that the team went with Ahmed over Wilson as the third running back behind Raheem Mostert and Achane. Ahmed (foot) has since been placed on injured reserve with a season-ending injury, while Achane (knee) is uncertain to play Friday. As a result, Wilson should have a role in team's running back rotation against the Jets behind Mostert, whose practice reps have been capped this week due to ankle and knee injuries.

  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: In line to practice Wednesday

Achane (knee) is slated to practice Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Per Rapoport, head coach Mike McDaniel suggested that how Achane fares during Wednesday's session will determine how much (if at all) the running back will play Friday against the Jets. If Achane ends up sitting out Week 12 or is available only in a limited capacity, Raheem Mostert (ankle/knee) would likely remain busy as the Dolphins' lead back. Jeff Wilson, who was a healthy inactive in the Week 11 win over the Raiders, would also be a candidate to re-enter the backfield mix in a complementary role behind Mostert.

  • Boston Scott RB | PIT

Eagles' Boston Scott: Minimal involvement in Week 11

Scott rushed two times for eight yards in Monday's 21-17 win over the Chiefs.

Scott played a limited role against the Chiefs, playing just seven of the Eagles' 56 offensive snaps Monday. The veteran's two carries were his most since Week 6 after he failed to record a single rushing attempt in his last two appearances. Buried on the depth chart behind D'Andre Swift and Kenneth Gainwell, Scott should remain off the fantasy radar when the Eagles host the Bills in Week 12.

  • Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Sees limited action Monday

Gainwell rushed once for one yard and caught his only target for four yards in Monday's 21-17 win over the Chiefs.

Gainwell played just 17 of the Eagles' 56 offensive snaps, and his two touches and five total yards accounted for his lowest outputs of the season. He's clearly behind D'Andre Swift in the pecking order at running back, and he'll continue to remain in a limited role barring an injury to Swift.

  • Bills' Latavius Murray: Handles 10 carries Week 11

Murray carried 10 times for 35 yards in Sunday's 32-6 win over the Jets.

Murray played 24 of the Bills' 76 offensive snaps Sunday, trailing lead back James Cook (35) and placing him ahead of Ty Johnson (16). Despite seeing 10 touches, the veteran Murray was unable to get much going in the contest. Meanwhile, both Cook and Johnson were able to find the end zone as receivers. It's possible that Johnson could continue to see his role grow in Buffalo's offense, which would further limit Murray's upside as the team's No. 2 back. Nonetheless, the 33-year-old will look to hang on as the team's top backup when the Bills visit the Eagles in Week 12. Leonard Fournette also lurks on the practice squad as a potential challenger to Murray for the top backup role.

  • Joshua Kelley RB | TEN

Chargers' Joshua Kelley: Handles six carries

Kelley rushed six times for 13 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Packers.

Kelley played 29 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps Sunday for the second straight week in relief of starting running back Austin Ekeler. The 26-year-old has seen his efficiency decrease in recent weeks, averaging a dismal 2.2 yards per carry in Week 11. Kelley should continue to hold value as an insurance policy if Ekeler were to miss time, yet the veteran will likely continue to see limited opportunities when the Chargers host the Ravens in Week 12.

  • Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: No snaps in Week 11

Ingram was active but didn't play in Sunday's 31-26 loss in Houston.

With fellow running back Emari Demercado (toe) still sidelined Sunday, James Conner paced the Cardinals backfield with 16 touches and 42 of 61 offensive snaps. Aside from Conner, Tony Jones handled two touches and 16 snaps on offense, while newcomer Michael Carter was a healthy scratch. Since receiving a season-high 12 touches in Week 6, Ingram has 14 combined over the last five games. Considering his recent usage, Ingram appears to be on the outside looking in for any sort of meaningful role in Arizona's offense.

  • Jonathan Ward: Back with Tennessee

Ward was signed to the Titans' practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Ward was waived by the team Saturday, but he's back just a few days later. The running back was with the active roster in Week 10, playing 15 special-teams snaps in the team's loss to the Buccaneers. He'll now wait for his next chance to join the Titans on gameday.

  • Darrynton Evans: Signs with Miami

Evans signed to the Dolphins' practice squad Tuesday.

Evans was waived by the Bears on Thursday, but he's now found a new home just a handful of days later. With Salvon Ahmed (foot) done for the season, Evans will provide Miami with an additional option at running back.

  • Jakob Johnson RB | HOU

Jakob Johnson: Returns to Las Vegas

Johnson was signed to the Raiders' practice squad Tuesday.

Johnson is back with the Raiders after being waived by the team Friday. The fullback doesn't have a clear path to playing time, but he appears to be sticking around Las Vegas for the time being.
