  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: No injury designation

Jones (hamstring) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

This will be Jones' fifth straight appearance since missing three of four games with a hamstring injury between Weeks 2 and 5. His role was limited for a couple weeks after returning, but he played 57 and 56 percent of snaps in the past two games while taking 24 and 17 touches, respectively. Jones should be busy again this Sunday against a struggling Chargers defense.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Won't play Sunday

Pierce (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Pierce returned to a limited practice Friday, which offers hope he could return to action Week 12 against the Jaguars. However, now that he's been ruled out for Sunday's contest, Devin Singletary -- who's coming off a 150-yard rushing effort Week 10 -- once again is in line to lead the Texans backfield.

  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Listed as questionable for Week 11

Achane (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.

The Dolphins designated Achane for return from injured reserve Monday, and he followed it up with three limited practices during Week 11 prep. Coach Mike McDaniel told David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel on Friday that the Dolphins are "prepared to" activate Achane from IR and are "very optimistic about that" happening. The team must do so by Saturday afternoon in order for the rookie running back to have a chance to play this weekend. If Achane rejoins Miami's backfield Sunday, he may not handle a full allotment of reps right away, especially with Raheem Mostert (ankle/knee) and Jeff Wilson available. Still, Achane may be worthy of a fantasy lineup spot considering he averaged a whopping 12.1 yards on the first 38 carries of his career and scored seven touchdowns through four games before spraining his knee.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Good to go

Barkley (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Washington, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Barkley was a limited participant Wednesday through Friday, with the Giants continuing to manage his practice workloads ever since he returned from a high-ankle sprain for Week 6. It's been a much different story on game days; he's averaged 22.0 carries and 4.2 targets on 53.2 snaps the past five weeks, serving as the engine of an otherwise dysfunctional offense that's now down to third-string QB Tommy DeVito (shoulder).

  • D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE

Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Questionable for Week 11

Foreman (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Detroit.

An ankle injury contained Foreman to a trio of limited practices this week, leaving his status up in the air for Week 11. Meanwhile, fellow running back Khalil Herbert (ankle/shin) is on the verge of ending his IR stint and returning to action for the first time since Week 5, which should be confirmed Saturday afternoon. If Foreman is able to suit up Sunday, he may serve in a timeshare of sorts with Herbert, though the former has handled 88 touches over the last five games in place of the latter.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Bears' Khalil Herbert: In line for activation

Coach Matt Eberflus said the Bears are expected to activate Herbert (ankle/shin) from injured reserve Saturday ahead of Sunday's contest at Detroit, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.

After Chicago designated Herbert for return from injured reserve last Monday, he was listed as a full participant on all three injury reports, but the team opted not to activate him for last Thursday's game against the Panthers. He kicked off this week with a limited session Wednesday but capped it with back-to-back full practices, leading to no designation for Week 11 action. Assuming he gets back on the active roster Saturday, Herbert may split the backfield with D'Onta Foreman (ankle) off the bat, though the latter is questionable for Sunday after having a cap on his reps all week.

  • Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Status in question for Sunday

Mattison (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Denver.

Mattison departed the Vikings' Week 10 win against the Saints due to a concussion, and after sitting out Wednesday's session and returning as a limited practice participant one day later, he has a chance to miss no games as a result. Coach Kevin O'Connell even told Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune that Mattison likely will gain clearance from an independent neurologist Friday, but that has yet to come to pass. Assuming he's able to suit up this weekend, Mattison should be good to approach the range of his typical 15.4 touches per game.

  • Alex Armah FB | WAS

Commanders' Alex Armah: Won't play vs. Giants

Armah (hamstring) is listed as out for Sunday's game versus the Giants, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

Armah will be sidelined for his seventh game of the season in Week 11, this time due to a hamstring injury he sustained in Week 10 at Seattle. If Washington runs out any sets that require a fullback Sunday, it could opt to use 2021 fourth-round tight end John Bates as a lead blocker instead.

  • Derrick Gore RB | WAS

Derrick Gore: Could suit up Sunday

Coach Ron Rivera said Friday that Gore would be elevated from Washington's practice squad to its active roster for Week 11 in the event that Antonio Gibson (toe) is out, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

Gibson is officially listed as doubtful, which likely means Gore is close to probable to be available versus the Giants. In two games so far this season, he has not recorded a touch.

  • Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Likely to get work Sunday

Rodriguez likely will move into the No. 2 running back role this Sunday against the Giants with teammate Antonio Gibson (toe) listed as doubtful, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

Rodriguez is more of a bruiser and Gibson more of a speed guy and pass catcher, so the adjustment here might involve the former taking some of Brian Robinson's usual snaps while Robinson handles a lot of the passing-down work that usually goes to Gibson. However it shakes out, Robinson remains the best fantasy play by a wide margin, as Rodriguez hasn't gotten any work on offense since taking seven carries for 31 yards in the team's first matchup with the Giants in Week 7.
