Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Cracks century mark in total yards
Barkley finished with 16 carries for 90 yards and three receptions on four targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Raiders.
Barkley started Sunday's contest clear of any injury designations after battling ankle and elbow injuries in recent weeks. The Giants' superstar displayed his improved health by reaching triple digits in total yardage for the third consecutive week. Barkley has averaged 27.5 combined touches in four games since returning from injury in Week 6, and he may be asked to carry a heavier load on offense since quarterback Daniel Jones (knee) is feared to have torn an ACL in the loss to Las Vegas. Expect the flailing Giants to lean on its star tailback in a road tilt against Dallas next Sunday.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Active versus Buffalo
Mixon (chest) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Bills.
Though Mixon was officially listed as questionable for the contest, the running back's status for Sunday night's game never appeared to be in much danger after he logged full practices both Thursday and Friday. With his active status versus Buffalo confirmed, Mixon is slated to continue to lead the Bengals' backfield in Week 9, a context that has yielded steady volume for the 2017 second-rounder this season. Through his first seven games, Mixon is averaging 16 carries for 64.7 yards and 2.7 catches for 18.1 yards, while Trayveon Williams is second among the team's RBs with a total of seven carries and four catches in that span.

Bijan Robinson RB | ATL
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Talies only 59 total yards
Robinson rushed the ball 11 times for 51 yards and also lost a fumble in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Vikings. He added two catches on four targets for eight yards.
Robinson had six carries at halftime as opposed to only three for Tyler Allgeier. That usage flipped when Robinson lost a fumble late in the third quarter, and he found himself on the bench for Atlanta's next two possessions. When he was on the field, Robinson didn't record many big plays, but he consistently picked up several yards per carry. Despite being selected eighth overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, Robinson has seen fewer than 15 carries in all but one game in his rookie campaign.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Solid workload as lead back
Foreman rushed 20 times for 83 yards in the Bears' 24-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
The bruising back took on another heavy workload as the unquestioned lead back and was reasonably productive with the opportunity. Foreman didn't have any involvement in the passing game after logging eight targets over the previous three games, but his rushing yardage tally was his second over 80 in his four-game starting stint. Khalil Herbert (IR-ankle) is eligible to return for Thursday night's Week 10 matchup against the Panthers, but with Foreman putting together a solid body of work thus far and a divisional clash against the Lions on tap in Week 11, the Bears may opt to be cautious with Herbert for the time being.

Jerome Ford RB | WAS
Browns' Jerome Ford: Garners 25 touches in win
Ford rushed 20 times for 44 yards and secured five of seven targets for 33 yards in the Browns' 27-0 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Ford outpaced backfield mate Kareem Hunt by six carries, and neither back was able to find much success save for Hunt's short touchdown run against what had been a fairly porous Cardinals run defense. However, Ford was able to partly make up for the inefficient day on the ground with impressive volume as a receiver, and his hefty workload dispelled any concerns about the condition of his previously gimpy ankle. Ford is likely to remain the de facto lead back in a Week 10 road divisional showdown against the Ravens.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Gets nine touches in Week 9
Elliott rushed six times for 17 yards and caught three of five targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Commanders.
Elliott was bottled up on the ground while teammate Rhamondre Stevenson produced a 64-yard touchdown en route to a season-high 87 rushing yards. The former Dallas running back has reached 50 scrimmage yards in only one of nine games with the Patriots, and Elliott continues to cede the majority of backfield touches to Stevenson. Given his modest role in New England's low-octane offense, Elliott won't have much fantasy appeal in Week 10, even against the porous Colts defense in Frankfurt.

Rachaad White RB | WAS
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Pair of touchdowns in Week 9 loss
White rushed 20 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns and brought in all four targets for 46 yards in the Buccaneers' 39-37 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
White once again took on a hefty workload on the ground and complemented it with a solid allotment of work as a pass catcher, leading to arguably his best all-around performance of the season. The two rushing scores put White over the top fantasy-wise, with the second-year pro finding the end zone on a pair of one-yard runs in the second and fourth quarters. White's secure lead-back role and locked-in receiving volume gives him plenty of appeal at home against the Titans in Week 10.

Brian Robinson Jr. RB | ATL
Commanders' Brian Robinson: Scores seventh scrimmage TD of 2023
Robinson rushed 18 times for 63 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 win over New England. He added one catch for four yards on two targets and lost a fumble.
Robinson sauntered into the end zone untouched from nine yards out to put Washington up 10-0 in the second quarter, but he fumbled on the Commanders' next drive. After scoring only three scrimmage touchdowns in 12 games as a rookie last season, Robinson has seven touchdowns through nine games in his second NFL campaign. Antonio Gibson tied his season high with six rushing attempts in this game, but Robinson remains Washington's top option on the ground heading into a Week 10 trip to Seattle.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Vikings' Cam Akers: Achilles' injury feared
Coach Kevin O'Connell relayed after Sunday's 31-28 win over the Falcons that the Vikings believe Akers has an Achilles' injury, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Akers' injury was initially deemed an ankle issue, but it looks like the running back's Achilles is what's ailing him in the wake of Sunday's contest. If the injury is confirmed, it would be the second time in his career that Akers has hurt his Achilles. If he's forced to miss time, Ty Chandler and Kene Nwangwu would remain on hand to work behind Alexander Mattison in the Vikings' backfield.

Darrell Henderson Jr. RB | LAR
Rams' Darrell Henderson: Gets 12 touches
Henderson rushed 10 times for 19 yards and caught both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Packers.
Henderson struggled to make a meaningful impact as Los Angeles' offense was ineffective as a whole under quarterback Brett Rypien. Although he hasn't been very efficient since rejoining the Rams, Henderson and Royce Freeman figure to remain the team's top tailbacks as long as Kyren Williams (ankle) and Ronnie Rivers (knee) are sidelined.
