Kendre Miller RB | NO
Saints' Kendre Miller: Hurts hamstring in Week 8
Miller (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Chargers, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
Miller went to the locker room in the second half shortly before the nature of the injury was revealed. The second-year pro had three carries for 16 yards prior to getting hurt. Miller missed the first six games of the season due to a hamstring injury.

Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Patriots' Antonio Gibson: Five carries in backup role
Gibson rushed five times for six yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 25-22 win over the Jets.
Gibson was used in a backup role while Rhamondre Stevenson rumbled for two touchdowns on 20 carries. Stevenson even got all three of the targets among New England's running backs. Even in a favorable matchup against the reeling Titans, Gibson will be tough to trust in Week 9 with a healthy Stevenson occupying a workhorse role.

Rachaad White RB | WAS
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Records receiving TD in loss
White rushed six times for 29 yards and secured five of six targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 31-26 loss to the Falcons on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
White's day started off in less than ideal fashion when he fumbled on the second play from scrimmage, but the third-year back bounced back with a serviceable all-around day salvaged by his third receiving touchdown of the campaign. White found the end zone from 18 yards out early in the second quarter and tied his second-highest catch total of the season, but he notably saw three fewer carries than backfield mate Bucky Irving. The Buccaneers' backfield figures to continue being difficult to decipher in a Week 9 road matchup against the Chiefs on Monday night, Nov. 4.

Bucky Irving RB | TB
Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Garners 84 total yards in loss
Irving (toe) rushed nine times for 44 yards and brought in all seven targets for 40 yards in the Buccaneers' 31-26 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
Irving overcame his questionable designation due to a toe injury to post a team-high rushing yardage total and also established a new career high in receptions. The rookie has also now logged at least nine carries in six consecutive contests, which, when combined with his relatively reliable pass-catching role, affords him a solid fantasy floor despite the timeshare with Rachaad White. Irving should be in even better health for a Week 9 road showdown against the Chiefs on Monday night, Nov. 4.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Two rushing TDs in Week 8 win
Stevenson rushed 20 times for 48 yards and two touchdowns while catching all three of his targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 25-22 win over the Jets. He also caught a successful two-point conversion.
Stevenson scored a three-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter, which he set up with a 14-yard catch on the preceding play. He added the game-winning score from one yard out with 22 seconds left in the fourth, with a two-point conversion through the air serving as the cherry on top of Stevenson's second touchdown run. Stevenson's averaging a middling 4.1 yards per carry but has five rushing touchdowns heading into a Week 9 road game against the 1-6 Titans. It remains to be seen if Jacoby Brissett or Drake Maye (concussion) -- who exited in the first half of Sunday's win -- will start at quarterback for the Patriots in Week 9.

Bijan Robinson RB | ATL
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Hits 100 total yards in win
Robinson rushed 13 times for 63 yards and secured all six targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' 31-26 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Robinson logged just one more carry than backfield mate Tyler Allgeier but outgained him by 30 rushing yards, and he also was the only one of the two to be involved in the passing game. Robinson's reception total was a season high, and he also recorded his first receiving touchdown of the campaign on a six-yard grab late in the third quarter. The timeshare in the Falcons' backfield continues to be a source of consternation for fantasy managers, but Robinson's robust receiving role continues to afford him a solid floor heading into a Week 9 home matchup against the Cowboys.
-
Rico Dowdle RB | PIT
Cowboys' Rico Dowdle: Comes down with illness
Dowdle has an illness and now is considered questionable for Sunday's game at San Francisco.
Dowdle led the Cowboys backfield during the first six contests of the season, averaging 12.5 touches for 62.8 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring two TDs through the air. With Dowdle's status now up in the air for Week 8, Ezekiel Elliott, Dalvin Cook and Deuce Vaughn are the other running backs on the team's roster.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Texans' Joe Mixon: Another robust workload Sunday
Mixon rushed 25 times for 102 yards and a touchdown and secured four of six targets for 32 yards in the Texans' 23-20 win over the Colts on Sunday.
Another week, another true workhorse role for Mixon, who once again made good use of his opportunities by eclipsing the 100-yard mark for the third straight game and fourth time overall on the season. Mixon also extended his streak of games with at least one rushing touchdown to three via a 14-yard run early in the second quarter, and all three components of his receiving line were season highs as well. Mixon continues to profile as an elite fantasy asset at his position heading into a Week 9 road Halloween showdown against the Jets on Thursday night.

Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Over 100 yards in return
Taylor (ankle) rushed 20 times for 105 yards and a touchdown and secured his only target for 12 yards in the Colts' 23-20 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
Taylor looked no worse for wear after a three-game absence due to an ankle injury, with the star running back ripping off several solid gains on his way to his third 100-yard effort of the season. Taylor also found the end zone for the fifth time on the campaign via a one-yard run shortly before the halfway point of the fourth quarter, and he now has at least 88 rushing yards in four consecutive contests. Taylor will draw another tough-on-paper matchup when the Colts travel to face the Vikings next Sunday night.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Gets 16 carries in loss
Hall rushed 16 times for 80 yards while catching one of three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 25-22 loss to the Patriots.
Hall's 17 touches marked his third-lowest total of the season, as he didn't make much of a mark as a pass catcher while ceding a larger share of carries than usual to Braelon Allen (12 carries for 32 yards and a touchdown). Allen now has two rushing scores this season to Hall's three, and the Jets' inability to spend extended periods with the lead coupled to competition for valuable goal-line touches have cut into Hall's fantasy value. Hall and the Jets will try to end a five-game losing streak Thursday against the Texans.
