Ty Chandler RB | MIN
Vikings' Ty Chandler: Chance to play Week 16
Chandler (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Chandler was a full practice participant during Week 16 prep, but he'll have to be activated from injured reserve Saturday in order to be available for Sunday's game. If he's cleared to play, Chandler would likely leapfrog Zavier Scott as the Vikings' RB3 behind Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason. Chandler would also be in the mix to join Myles Price as a returner on kickoffs.

Bhayshul Tuten RB | JAC
Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Out Week 16, possibly beyond
Tuten (finger) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Tuten could be out multiple games, per the Jaguars' official site, so his practice participation level will bear monitoring ahead of the Jaguars' Week 17 trip to Indianapolis. He didn't practice in any capacity prior to being ruled out for Week 16, which will open the door for LeQuint Allen and DeeJay Dallas to provide backfield depth behind Travis Etienne and return kickoffs.

Javonte Williams RB | DAL
Cowboys' Javonte Williams: Cleared to play Sunday
Williams (neck) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Williams missed part of last week's loss to the Vikings after injuring his shoulder/neck, but he returned for the second half and took most of the carries, albeit with Malik Davis handling the bulk of the snaps on pass plays. Williams' return to full practice participation Friday suggests he won't have limitations this Sunday, though the Cowboys might eventually scale his workload back a bit if/when they're eliminated from playoff contention.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Ruled out
Kamara (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Kamara hasn't practiced or played since suffering an MCL sprain Week 12, leaving Devin Neal in the lead role until he suffered a season-ending hamstring injury Week 15. The Saints are left with Audric Estime and Evan Hull as the favorites for backfield work Sunday against the Jets.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Coach optimistic for return in 2025
Head coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Hill (neck) coming back in Week 17 against the Packers or Week 18 against the Steelers is a "real possibility."
Hill will miss a fourth consecutive game while on injured reserve Sunday against the Patriots, but the change-of-pace running back could be back before the conclusion of the regular season. Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali have mixed in behind Derrick Henry during Hill's absence.

Dylan Sampson RB | CLE
Browns' Dylan Sampson: Won't suit up in Week 16
Sampson (hand/calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Sampson will unsurprisingly miss a second consecutive game after being unable to practice in any capacity throughout the week. The rookie fourth-round pick's next chance to play will come in Week 17 against the Steelers, while Trayveon Williams and Raheim Sanders will fill depth roles behind rookie second-round pick Quinshon Judkins against the Bills.

Woody Marks RB | HOU
Texans' Woody Marks: Working on side Friday
Marks (ankle) is working off to the side with a trainer at Friday's practice, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wilson expects Marks to be listed as a limited participant, which would still be a step in the right direction after Marks didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. Marks injured his ankle during this past Sunday's win over the Cardinals, and while Houston's coaching staff claimed that Marks could have reentered against Arizona, the ankle injury has put his availability for Sunday's game against the Raiders in jeopardy. Nick Chubb and Jawhar Jordan could play larger roles if Marks is sidelined or limited Sunday.

Emari Demercado RB | ARI
Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Coming off bench behind Carter
Demercado should have a role off the bench behind starter Michael Carter in Sunday's game against Atlanta, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Demercado seemed to be ahead of Carter on the depth chart for most of the season, but Carter has arguably fared better when tasked with a lead role, while Demercado's success as a bench player hasn't typically translated across larger workloads. Demercado's recent return from a high-ankle sprain may also be a factor, with this being his second game back from a three-game absence. He took just three touches for one yard in last week's 40-20 loss to the Texans, so it didn't come as any surprise Friday when Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon named Carter as the Week 16 starter.

Dylan Sampson RB | CLE
Browns' Dylan Sampson: Another absence Friday
Sampson (hand/calf) isn't practicing Friday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Sampson hasn't practiced all week, so he's likely to be ruled out for a second consecutive game when the Browns release their injury report later Friday. Trayveon Williams and Raheim Sanders will likely work as the depth options behind Quinshon Judkins against the Bills on Sunday.

Michael Carter RB | ARI
Cardinals' Michael Carter: Coach confirms Week 16 start
Head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed Friday that Carter will start Sunday's game against the Falcons, Theo Mackie of AZCentral reports.
Carter handled 18 touches and churned out a season-high 94 scrimmage yards after Bam Knight injured his ankle in the Week 15 loss to Houston. Knight was subsequently placed on IR, clearing the path for Carter to take on the starting role Sunday and likely for the remainder of the season, with Emari Demercado and Corey Kiner on hand for depth.
