Cook carried the ball 18 times for 79 yards while adding four catches for five yards in Monday's 31-17 wild-card win over the Steelers.

Quarterback Josh Allen chipped in 8-72-1 as a runner Monday, while true backup Ty Johnson did little with his eight rushes (26 yards). With the victory, the No. 2 seed Bills will move onto the AFC divisional round to host the Chiefs in a rematch of the historic divisional playoff game from the 2021 postseason. Buffalo will be riding a win streak of six games into that playoff matchup while also featuring Cook as a new weapon that the 2021 version did not possess.

Warren rushed eight times for 38 yards and brought in both targets for 16 yards in the Steelers' 31-17 wild-card loss to the Bills on Monday afternoon.

Warren logged just four fewer carries than backfield mate Najee Harris and also matched his teammate's two receptions. Warren enjoyed an expanded role in the 2023 campaign, establishing himself as a legitimate two-way threat out of the backfield with a 149-784-4 line on the ground that he complemented with an impressive 61 receptions and 370 yards on 74 targets while seeing action in all 17 regular-season games. Warren remains under contact for 2024 season at a very reasonable $989,000 cap figure, essentially ensuring he'll be back to compete for another significant role alongside Harris.

Evans finished the 2023 regular season with nine rush attempts for 19 yards.

Despite the abundance of running backs that went through the Rams' roster over the course of the season -- Cam Akers, Kyren Williams, Ronnie Rivers, Royce Freeman, Darrell Henderson, Myles Gaskin, and Evans all logged playing time in 2023 for the Rams -- Evans managed to hold his roster spot despite performing inadequately when called upon. Head coach Sean McVay clearly sees potential in the rookie by keeping him on the active roster despite his lackluster performance, but with Williams returning as a three-down workhorse and Rivers likely back as an exclusive-rights free agent, Evans will be the third option at running back next season if the Rams don't make any additions to the roster, and the fourth if they bring back Freeman for a second campaign.

Freeman finished the 2023 regular season with 77 rushes for 319 yards and two touchdowns, adding one catch for 13 yards.

Signed a day after Sony Michel retired, Freeman spent much of the year relegated as deep reserve option in the backfield behind Kyren Williams, Ronnie Rivers, and at one point, Darrell Henderson. When Freeman did take the field as a co-starter alongside Henderson when Williams and Rivers went down with injury in Weeks 7 through 11, the veteran back made the most of his opportunity, posting a 50-215-1 line in the four-game stretch. The Rams have Williams and rookie Zach Evans on the roster for 2024 and will likely bring Rivers, an exclusive-rights free agent, back as well. Whether Freeman will return for a second season with the Rams likely hinges on how much the team trusts the aforementioned trio to stay healthy for a full season.

Kelly signed a reserve/future contract with the Browns on Monday.

Harris got his fair share of work despite the game script turning against the ground game fairly early. The third-year pro's quiet finish was in stark contrast to the last three games of the regular season in particular, a span in which he recorded 312 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground while adding a 5-21-0 line through the air. Looking ahead to 2024, Harris is set to enter the final year of his rookie contract after three straight 1,000-yard seasons to open his career, and a decision on picking up his fifth-year option therefore looms this spring.

Laird (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's wild-card game against the Eagles, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

The running back was elevated from the practice squad Monday but did not make the cut for the gameday roster of 48 players, per Smith. Laird has not appeared in a game this season and sits behind Rachaad White, Chase Edmonds and Sean Tucker on the depth chart.

Backfield mate AJ Dillon (thumb/neck) did not suit up Sunday, but it was Emanuel Wilson rather than Taylor who worked as the backup behind starter Aaron Jones. It looks like Wilson will be next in line for touches if Dillon misses another game, but Green Bay could turn to Taylor more frequently against the 49ers, as he has earned more trust than his counterpart in pass protection.

It's anyone's guess how the snaps will be divided among the reserves if Dillon suits up for the upcoming matchup against the 49ers, as he is easily the most established of the bunch, and Taylor fares better as a pass blocker. However, if Dillon remains out, there's at least a chance Wilson could remain in the backup role.
