  • Dolphins' Chris Brooks: Will remain on IR

Brooks (ankle) will not be activated off of injured reserve before Monday's game against the Titans, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.

Brooks was able to log full practices this week, but he'll remain sidelined for Week 14. The BYU product is still in the middle of his 21-day practice window with the team since being designated to return from IR on Nov. 29. His next opportunity to suit up will be Week 15 against the Jets.

  • Kenyan Drake RB | GB

Packers' Kenyan Drake: Elevated for MNF

Drake was elevated from Green Bay's practice squad ahead of Monday's game against the Giants, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.

With Aaron Jones (knee) expected to sit out, Drake will provide running back depth in a backfield that includes AJ Dillon and Patrick Taylor. Dillon has generally handled the majority of backfield touches in previous instances when Jones -- who is officially listed as questionable Monday -- has been unavailable.

  • Titans' Jonathan Ward: Signs deal with Titans

Ward signed with the Titans on Monday, Ben Arthur of Fox Sports reports.

Ward will join Tennessee's 53-man roster ahead of Monday's game against the Dolphins. He'll be the team's No. 3 running back behind Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears. Ward spent the previous three weeks on Tennessee's practice squad.

  • Jordan Mason RB | MIN

49ers' Jordan Mason: Scores TD spelling CMC

Mason had four carries for 20 yards and a touchdown and a reception of six yards in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Seahawks.

The special teams ace elevated to No. 2 on San Francisco's running back depth chart after Elijah Mitchell (knee) was unable to suit up against the Seahawks. Mason quickly took advantage of the opportunity when he scored a touchdown on the second play from scrimmage Sunday. His three-yard score came on the heels of an electric 72-yard run from starter Christian McCaffrey, who likely needed a play off to catch his breath after sprinting nearly the length of the field. Mason wound up playing just six snaps on offense (11 percent) and finishing with five combined touches. Even if he's backing up McCaffrey again next Sunday at Arizona, fantasy managers shouldn't expect more than a handful of touches from the backup against Arizona.

  • Jerome Ford RB | WAS

Browns' Jerome Ford: Avoids wrist fracture

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that X-rays on Ford's injured wrist were returned negative, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Ford briefly exited Sunday's 31-27 win over the Jaguars when he appeared to injure his wrist/hand on a rushing attempt in the fourth quarter, but he later checked into the game and finished the day with 12 carries for 51 yards and five receptions (on six targets) for 31 yards. Though follow-up X-rays revealed no fracture to Ford's wrist, the running back still could be dealing with soreness or ligament damage that may affect his practice participation leading up to this Sunday's game against the Bears. Fantasy managers will want to continue monitoring Ford's status leading up to the Week 15 contest.

  • Jaguars' D'Ernest Johnson: Posts 28 yards from scrimmage

Johnson carried three times for 12 yards and caught two of three targets for 16 yards during Sunday's 31-27 loss against the Browns. He also returned two kickoffs for 34 yards.

The 27-year-old suited up Sunday after being questionable with a knee injury, and he filled his usual role as Travis Etienne's top backup. Johnson eclipsed 40 yards from scrimmage in three straight contests after taking over the No. 2 role Week 10, but his average of 18.5 total yards over the past two games is likely a better representation of his expected production while Etienne is available.

  • Chase Brown RB | CIN

    Bengals' Chase Brown: Breakout performance

Brown had three catches for 80 yards and a touchdown to go along with eight carries for 25 yards in the Bengals' win over the Colts on Sunday.

Brown was an afterthought early on in the season, but he's had big plays each of the last two weeks after finally recovering from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for four games. Joe Mixon is still the man, but Brown is becoming a reliable second back for the Bengals.

  • Rico Dowdle RB | PIT

Cowboys' Rico Dowdle: Gets into end zone Sunday

Dowdle carried the ball 12 times for 46 yards and a touchdown and caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's win over the Eagles.

The running back punched in a one-yard TD in the second quarter, although it took a review to confirm the ball had gotten across the goal line in the scrum. Dowdle saw nearly as many carries as Tony Pollard's 16, but the Cowboys' starter dominated work out of the backfield in the passing game. Dowdle has emerged as a solid backup for Dallas this season, scoring four total touchdowns (two rushing, two receiving) with 389 yards from scrimmage across 13 games, and Sunday's game was the third time in the last five contests he'd seen double-digit touch volume. Dowdle will carry some deeper-league fantasy appeal into a Week 15 meeting with the Bills.

  • Nick Bawden RB | HOU

Jets' Nick Bawden: Gets fourth touch of 2023

Bawden rushed once for three yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Texans.

Bawden registered his second rushing attempt of the season, with the first having gone for a one-yard touchdown back in Week 3 against the Patriots. The fullback has also caught both of his targets in 2023.

  • Jets' Israel Abanikanda: Three carries in Week 14 win

Abanikanda rushed three times for minus-1 yard and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Texans.

Abanikanda got some second-half opportunities in the blowout win. The 2023 fifth-round draft pick out of Pitt has four carries for 10 yards and one catch on two targets for five yards while having appeared in two games so far.
