Engram (foot) is set to receive a second opinion on his injury from foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson, who will review the results of the MRI the tight end underwent following Monday's 37-18 loss to the Cowboys, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The fact that the tight end underwent an MRI is new information, as coach Pat Shurmur only noted in his media session Tuesday that Engram was dealing with a "little bit of a sore foot" in the aftermath of the Week 9 game. With Engram sitting out Wednesday's practice, there's reason to believe his injury might be more serious than the Giants initially seemed to let on. Expect Shurmur to provide another update on Engram's situation after practice concludes Wednesday.

Engram (foot) wasn't present for the Giants' practice Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Coach Pat Shurmur acknowledged that Engram missed the final series of the Giants' 37-18 loss to the Cowboys on Monday due to a sore foot, so the tight end looks like he'll be receiving some extra maintenance during the short week. The Giants should have a better idea regarding Engram's health heading into Sunday's game against the Jets after getting a chance to evaluate him at practices Thursday and Friday.

Fumagalli caught a nine-yard pass on his only target during Sunday's 24-19 win over Cleveland.

Fumagalli snagged a quick pass over the middle near midfield during Denver's second drive of the game, helping set up a Courtland Sutton touchdown. After missing his entire rookie season with a sports hernia issue and serving as a healthy scratch for most of 2019, the catch was just the second of Fumagalli's young career. Rookie Andrew Beck, signed off waivers before the season began, has largely taken over the No. 3 tight end role thanks to his versatility as an H-back and special-teams contributor, and Fumagalli was only on the field Sunday because veteran Jeff Heuerman (knee) was out. The Wisconsin product could be back on the bench if Heuerman is able to return after the Broncos' bye.

Vannett was unable to bring in his only target during Sunday's 26-24 win over the Colts.

The Steelers have rebounded in a big way this season with four wins in the last five games, thanks in part to some solid performances by Mason Rudolph. Vannett hasn't been a big contributor to that rebound since being acquired from the Seahawks, with four catches for 48 yards in five games for his new club, including two catchless outings. That sort of usage rate isn't going to get it done from a fantasy perspective, even with a matchup against a middle-of-the-pack Rams pass defense on tap Sunday.

Alie-Cox caught his only target for an 11-yard gain during Sunday's 26-24 loss to Pittsburgh.

Alie-Cox's reception on the first play of the second half was his first in four weeks. The Colts coughed up a halftime lead despite a solid performance by Brian Hoyer in relief of Jacoby Brissett (knee). Brissett is reportedly optimistic that he can come back for Sunday's game against a middle-of-the-road Miami pass defense. Given Alie-Cox's minimal usage this season, with just seven targets in 2019, the VCU product probably won't get much action no matter who is at quarterback.

Schultz played just one offensive snap in Monday night's win over the Giants.

That marks a new low for the season for Schultz as he's currently buried on the tight-end depth chart for the Cowboys behind Jason Witten and Blake Jarwin. The second-year pro has just one target on the year, hauling it in for a six-yard gain back in Week 6 against the Jets.

Moreau caught one of his two targets for a three-yard touchdown in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Lions.

Moreau saw a deep target in the first quarter but couldn't reel it in. He wouldn't see the ball again until the second play of the fourth quarter when his catch in the end zone gave the Raiders a 24-17 lead. The rookie has managed just 14 catches on the season, but three have been scores. He has seen more than three targets just once this season yet will look to break that trend Week 10 against the Chargers.

Hurst caught both targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 37-20 win over the Patriots.

It has been a disappointing campaign for the 2018 first-round pick, as he's the No. 3 tight end behind Mark Andrews and Nick Boyle. Hurst hasn't exceeded four catches or 39 yards in a game this year, and his 7.8 YPT makes him a tough fantasy play.

Kittle (knee) wasn't spotted on the field at Tuesday's practice, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

The 49ers won't release their first injury report of Week 10 until Thursday, but if his lack of activity Tuesday was any indication, Kittle may begin the week as a non-participant in practice. That doesn't come as a major surprise after Kittle was sent in for a precautionary MRI following a Week 9 win over Arizona, during which he played through a left knee injury. San Francisco remains optimistic that Kittle will be ready to go for Monday night's matchup with Seattle, but he'll need to show some progress as the week unfolds for the team to feel good about his chances of playing.

Andrews caught two of three targets for 21 yards Sunday against the Patriots.

This was Andrews' lowest snap count (24) and lowest snap percentage (34 percent) of any game this season. It's possible that this had to do with Baltimore's run-heavy game plan where the Ravens ran the ball 41 times while attempting just 23 passes. With Nick Boyle (59 snaps) and Hayden Hurst (29 snaps) regarded as better blockers, it's not entirely surprising that Andrews would take a back seat given that type of game script. He came up big when called upon, however, as his 18-yard reception over Terrance Brooks on third down midway through the third quarter helped set up a touchdown that put the Ravens up by two scores. Andrews figures to see a larger role Sunday against the Bengals in a game where Baltimore won't need to shy away from the Cincinnati secondary.
