Eric Tomlinson TE | LAC
Eric Tomlinson: Slated for release
Tomlinson is expected to be released by the Texans on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Tomlinson has now been let go twice by Houston this offseason, originally getting cut in May before re-signing with the squad in July. The UTEP product has played consistent roles with Baltimore and Denver subsequently in each of the last two seasons and has a strong likelihood of getting scooped up elsewhere in the coming weeks.

Elijah Higgins TE | ARI
Elijah Higgins: Getting let go
Higgins was waived by the Dolphins on Tuesday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Higgins was chosen in the sixth round of the 2023 Draft by the team and spent camp trying to transition from college wideout to NFL tight end. Despite his inability to make the final roster, the Stanford product is likely to end up on Miami's practice squad, if he can clear waivers.

Tucker Fisk TE | LAC
Falcons' Tucker Fisk: Won't make team
Fisk was waived by the Falcons on Tuesday, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Fisk spent most of last season on the team's practice squad after signing with them as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford in 2022. The 24-year-old never made it to the 53-man roster though before re-signing in January on a reserve/future contract.

E.J. Jenkins TE | PHI
E.J. Jenkins: Waived by Jets
New York will waive Jenkins on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The undrafted rookie out of Georgia Tech seems like a strong practice squad candidate, as the Jets knew he'd require ample development when bringing him in shortly after April's draft. The 6-foot-6 wideout-turned-TE could, in time, refine his game and become a useful situational weapon in the red zone.

Albert Okwuegbunam TE | LV
Albert Okwuegbunam: Being waived by Broncos
The Broncos are in line to waive Okwuegbunam, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Okwuegbunam caught seven of eight targets for 109 yards and a TD in Saturday's preseason finale against the Rams, but the Broncos are moving on from the 2020 fourth-rounder ahead of Week 1. With Okwuegbunam no longer in the mix, the team's tight end corps is currently led by Adam Trautman, Greg Dulcich and Chris Manhertz.
-
Gerrit Prince TE | KC
Gerrit Prince: Let go by Jaguars
Jacksonville is slated to waive Prince on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Prince could be a candidate to resurface on the Jaguars' practice squad, where he spent the entire 2022 season after having gone undrafted out UAB. The second-year tight end is still looking for a chance to make his NFL debut.
-
Joel Wilson TE | TEN
Joel Wilson: Gets let go
Wilson was waived by the Bills on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wilson joined the team as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan. Although he won't start the season on the 53-man roster, it is expected he will be brought back and placed on the team's practice squad.

Lucas Krull TE | DEN
Saints' Lucas Krull: Leading receiver in preseason loss
Krull caught seven of 15 targets for 106 yards during Sunday's 17-13 preseason defeat against Houston.
Krull led the Saints' receiving corps in targets, receptions and catches against Houston, though he did not haul in the team's lone passing touchdown. Instead, quarterback Jameis Winston hit 36-year-old tight end Jimmy Graham for a three-yard score early in the second quarter. While Krull's performance in the Saints' preseason finale was impressive, it likely won't secure him a roster spot ahead of Tuesday's cutdown deadline, as the team appears very deep at tight end with Juwan Johnson, Foster Moreau and Graham rounding out the top three while Taysom Hill (oblique) slots into his usual jack-of-all-trades role. Krull did spend much of last season on New Orleans' practice squad, and he seems like a shoo-in to reprise his role so long as he doesn't get picked up by another team prior to the regular season.
-
Hunter Kampmoyer TE | DEN
Hunter Kampmoyer: Waived by Chargers
The Chargers waived Kampmoyer on Monday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
With Gerald Everett and Donald Parham locked in as the top two tight ends on the roster, Kampmoyer was a likely candidate to end up on the outside looking in when final roster cuts rolled around. He will now need to look for a new landing spot unless the Chargers offer him a spot on their practice squad.

Mark Andrews TE | BAL
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Expected to play Week 1
Head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that he expects Andrews (undisclosed) to practice next week and play in the season opener against Houston on Sunday, Sept. 10, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Andrews missed another practice Monday, marking his third straight absence, and it sounds like he'll remain out for at least a few more days. Harbaugh has insisted the tight end is dealing with a minor issue, though the specifics of the injury have yet to be released. Andrews can be considered day-to-day moving forward.
