Camren McDonald TE | LAR
Camren McDonald: Leaving LA
The Rams waived McDonald on Monday.
McDonald signed with Green Bay as an undrafted free agent but was ultimately sent packing early in training camp. He subsequently latched on with the Rams and was competing for a depth tight end role. The rookie ultimately came up short in his quest, but there is still a possibility the team could offer him a role on its practice squad.

Christian Sims TE | LAR
Christian Sims: Waived by Rams
Sims was waived by the Rams on Monday.
Sims signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent this past offseason. He recorded 94 receptions for 948 yards and five touchdowns in over 30 games during his collegiate career at Bowling Green. The rookie was considered a long shot to make it through final cuts, but it remains to be seen if the team will offer him a spot on the practice squad.

Mason Schreck TE | HOU
Mason Schreck: Cut by Texans
Schreck was waived by the Texans on Monday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Schreck spent his first four seasons in Cincinnati before joining the Texans in 2022. He suited up for three games but primarily worked on the team's practice squad. That appears to be his likely destination again this year, but he could opt to look elsewhere for opportunities as well.

Mark Andrews TE | BAL
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Misses another practice
Andrews (undisclosed) didn't practice Monday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
The report notes that Andrews has missed the team's past three practices, with coach John Harbaugh having indicated last week that the tight end is "working through" something but "nothing serious." For now, consider Andrews day-to-day as the Ravens' Sept. 10 contest against the Texans approaches.

Chris Myarick TE | MIA
Giants' Chris Myarick: Lands on IR
The Giants placed Myarick (hand) on injured reserve Monday.
Myarick suffered a metacarpal fracture in his hand during the Giants' preseason finale, which ultimately led to this move. With the addition of Darren Waller during the offseason, he was already on the roster bubble during training camp. Now, Myarick will focus on his recovery, as he is set to miss the entire 2023 season.

Colin Thompson TE | MIN
Colin Thompson: Gets cut loose
Thompson was waived by the Vikings on Monday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Thompson joined the Vikings in July after spending last season on the Panthers' practice squad. He'll now need to work to find another opportunity elsewhere.

Alize Mack TE | TEN
Alize Mack: Cut with injury designation
The Titans waived Mack (undisclosed) with an injury designation Monday, Nick Suss of the Tennessean reports.
Mack is dealing with an undisclosed injury, but the issue was enough to eliminate his chances of sticking to the Titans' final 53-man roster. Since joining the NFL as a seventh-round pick of the Saints back in 2019, he has yet to appear in a regular-season game.

Chigoziem Okonkwo TE | WAS
Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Returning to practice
Okonkwo (leg) will return to practice Monday, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
The Titans never expected Okonkwo to be out for long even though he missed the final preseason game. He's expected to be the team's top pass-catching TE and now has two full weeks to prepare for a Week 1 game in New Orleans.

Jimmy Graham TE | NO
Saints' Jimmy Graham: Vintage performance Sunday
Graham (illness) had three receptions (four targets) for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's preseason finale against Houston.
Graham returned to action in style after missing last week's preseason tilt due to a non-football-related medical issue. The long-time Saint got the start at tight end with Taysom Hill, Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau all sitting out the final exhibition showcase. Graham turned in a vintage performance highlighted by a short touchdown in the second quarter in which he used his 6-foot-7 frame to body the slot corner assigned to him in coverage. Perhaps the 36-year-old can survive Tuesday's roster cuts and carve out a red-zone role as he attempts to extend his career back to where it all began back in 2010.

Payne Durham TE | TB
Buccaneers' Payne Durham: One catch in preseason finale
Durham brought in his only target for eight yards in the Buccaneers' 26-20 preseason win over the Ravens on Saturday night.
Durham got a long look for a second straight game, leading all Buccaneers tight ends with 24 snaps. The rookie fifth-round pick recorded only three receptions for 11 yards on four targets through three preseason games, and it could come down to him and Dominique Dafney for a potential No. 4 TE spot on the final roster.
