Robert Woods WR | PIT
Titans' Robert Woods: Sheds knee brace
Woods participated in Wednesday's training camp session without a brace protecting his surgically repaired left knee, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Woods continues to run routes and participate in catching exercises at practice, though it may still be some time before he's cleared for contact activities. Still, all news surrounding Woods' recovery process has been encouraging with respect to his chances of suiting up Week 1. Rookie first-round pick Treylon Burks appears to be putting issues with conditioning behind him as training camp kicks off, so it looks like there's a chance quarterback Ryan Tannehill could begin the post-A.J. Brown era with both his new top wideouts at full strength.

Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Expected to miss time
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said Wednesday that Watson (undisclosed) will "miss a little bit of time" after having a medical procedure during the offseason, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Neither player nor team has provided details on Watson's injury, apart from the Packers placing him on the PUP list and suggesting that he required a procedure but shouldn't be out for too long. Even if Watson makes it back within a week or two, the late start to camp isn't ideal for a rookie wideout who needs to make a good impression on demanding veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Giants' Kadarius Toney: Good to go for training camp
Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Wednesday that Toney (knee) is a full go for training camp practices, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Daboll also said that modifications to Toney's workload will be made "if necessary," per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com. After Toney's injury-riddled rookie campaign, it might make more sense for the team to closely monitor his practice activity and attempt to take a precautionary approach should anything pop up. Still, after Toney was limited during minicamp, it's encouraging to see him back on the field and ready to handle first-team reps alongside Kenny Golladay. With Sterling Shepard (Achilles) on the PUP list, Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton may also see increased reps.
-
Tee Higgins WR | CIN
Bengals' Tee Higgins: Full go for training camp
Higgins (shoulder) appears that he'll be at full capacity for the start of training camp, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Higgins sat out the Bengals' OTAs in May after surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder in March. He originally suffered the injury during the Bengals' Week 2 loss to the Bears and missed two games, but then played through it the rest of the season and playoffs.
-
Marcus Kemp WR | WAS
Giants' Marcus Kemp: Inks deal with Giants
Kemp signed a contract with the Giants on Tuesday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
Kemp has played in 43 games for the Chiefs and one for the Dolphins since entering the league in 2017. Primarily contributing on special teams, Kemp has recorded four catches for 42 yards in four NFL seasons.

DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Reports for training camp
Metcalf (foot) was present for the first day of Seattle's training camp Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
Metcalf skipped mandatory minicamp in June, and there had been some speculation that he would hold out for a new contract, but his appearance at training camp suggests the star wide receiver will not be holding out. It isn't clear whether he will be able to practice with the team immediately, as Metcalf has been recovering from foot surgery. Metcalf wasn't among the initial wave of Seahawks placed on the active/PUP list, which likely indicates that he isn't expected to miss much, if any, practice time.
-
Michael Thomas WR | NO
Saints' Michael Thomas: Shouldn't be on PUP list too long
Thomas (ankle) isn't expected to remain on the PUP list very long, Katherine Terrell of ESPN reports.
Thomas is bouncing back from lingering ankle issues, with GM Mickey Loomis noting Tuesday that the wideout is "just not quite ready to be full go yet." While a precise timetable for Thomas' return to practice hasn't been outlined, it does at least seem that his placement on the PUP list is not indicative of a concerning setback. Once he's back in the mix, Thomas will aim to reestablish himself as the top option in a Saints' WR unit that also features Jarvis Landry, 2022 first-round pick Chris Olave, Marquez Callaway, Tre'Quan Smith and Deonte Harty.
-
Marquise Brown WR | PHI
Cardinals' Marquise Brown: Opening camp on NFI list
Brown has been placed on the Cardinals' non-football injury list due to a hamstring issue, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
The wideout is eligible to come off the list whenever he is ready to practice, but Brown is now slated to miss some time with Arizona's training camp about to open. Once he's able to return to the field, Brown will look to cement his key role in an offense that will open the coming season minus DeAndre Hopkins, who has been suspended for six games out of the gate for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. While Hopkins is out, Brown will be in line to serve as Kyler Murray's top downfield option, with A.J. Green, Rondale Moore and Antoine Wesley also in the mix for targets.
-
Chris Godwin WR | TB
Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Dodges PUP list
Godwin (knee) will avoid the PUP list and has been cleared to begin training camp, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Stroud notes that the Bucs will be careful with Godwin, who had surgery Jan. 3 for a torn ACL. He didn't participate in spring practices and may be eased in this summer, but the decision to keep him off the PUP list suggests Godwin has a shot to be ready for Week 1.

Javon Wims WR | CAR
Browns' Javon Wims: Moves to NFI list
Cleveland placed Wims (undisclosed) on the active/non-football illness list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
It's unclear what Wims' illness is or when he might be expected to return. He hasn't seen game action since 2020, so if he makes it back before Week 1 he'll have to compete to make the roster, with Amari Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones, David Bell, Anthony Schwartz, Jakeem Grant, Ja'Marcus Bradley and Mike Woods also in the Browns' wide receiver mix.
