  • Javon Wims WR | CAR

Javon Wims: Cut from Raiders' practice squad

Wims was cut from the Raiders' practice squad Tuesday.

The wide receiver joined the team's practice squad in September, and failed to crack the active roster at any point before being let go Tuesday. Wims last appeared in the NFL in 2020, catching six passes for 48 yards and a touchdown over 13 games with the Bears.

  • Nsimba Webster WR | CHI

Bears' Nsimba Webster: Remains with Bears

The Bears signed Webster to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.

Webster spent most of the 2021 season on the Bears' practice squad and will now remain with the club heading into the offseason. He played mainly on special teams across his six regular-season appearances in 2021.

  • Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC

Patriots' Jakobi Meyers: Still dealing with thigh injury

Meyers (thigh) was listed as limited on Tuesday's estimated injury report.

Meyers is operating under the same practice regimen for a third straight week. In the final two games of the regular season, he still logged at least 77 percent of the offensive snaps on both occasions, reeling in 12 of 16 targets for 143 yards and one touchdown. Even if his reps continue to be managed Wednesday and Thursday and he enters the weekend as questionable, Meyers doesn't appear to be in danger of sitting out Saturday's wild-card contest in Buffalo.

  • Adam Thielen WR | PIT

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Expects to be ready for spring

Thielen expects to be ready for spring workouts after Dec. 28 ankle surgery, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. "It's a pretty easy recovery, a few more weeks here and I should be feeling back to normal," he said.

Thielen missed two games with an ankle injury and returned in Week 16, but hurt the ankle again which led to surgery and caused him to miss the final two games. He finished the season with 67 receptions for 726 yards and 10 touchdowns on 95 targets. While he had double-digit touchdowns for a second consecutive season, he had a career low 10.8 yards per reception. Signed through 2024 and with a $16 million cap hit for 2022, the 31-year-old looks set to remain with the Vikings even if a new GM decides to overhaul the roster.

  • Chiefs' Demarcus Robinson: Season-high target count in Week 18

Robinson compiled three receptions for 19 yards on a season-high six targets during Saturday's game against the Broncos.

Robinson's target volume matched the Week 6 count against the Football Team despite him playing just half of the offensive snaps, which ranks sixth-fewest among games he's appeared in this season by percentage. He didn't experience any gains as a receiver in 2021 and instead went the opposite direction, finishing with lower totals in receptions (25) and receiving yards (264) than last year's totals of 45 grabs for 466 yards while matching the touchdown total with three. Robinson's one-year deal is set to expire this offseason, so it remains to be seen what uniform he will don in 2022.

  • Alex Bachman WR | LAR

Giants' Alex Bachman: Signs futures deal

The Giants signed Bachman to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Bachman made three appearances this season for New York, all coming in the last four games. His most productive outing came in Week 18, when he played 36 total snaps (25 offensive) and totaled one carry for minus-three yards. He also added one punt return for 16 yards and four kick returns for 94 yards during the contest.

  • Zach Pascal WR | NYG

Colts' Zach Pascal: Just one reception in season finale

Pascal had one reception for seven yards on two targets in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.

Pascal had another season of being a reliable, if not spectacular, contributor in Indy's offense with 38 receptions for 384 yards and three touchdowns on 69 targets, but he averaged just 10.1 yards per reception -- his lowest mark since his rookie season (9.9). It's not clear if Pascal's in the Colts' plans for 2022 as he'll be a free agent.

  • Byron Pringle WR | WAS

Chiefs' Byron Pringle: Emerges as receiving threat in 2021

Pringle compiled five catches for 56 yards on eight targets Saturday against the Broncos to give him 42 grabs for 568 yards and five scores during the 2021 regular season.

Pringle's preseason performance seemed to position him for an impactful role in 2021, but that didn't materialize until the second half of the season. Pringle really saw his involvement expand down the stretch, racking up 17 catches over the last four games after averaging just 1.9 per contest over the first 13 games. A strong showing in the playoffs could net him a hefty pay raise this offseason as an impending unrestricted free agent.

  • Colts' Parris Campbell: Plays eight snaps in return

Campbell was targeted three times without catching any of them in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville and played eight snaps on offense.

It was Campbell's first game since Week 6 after he underwent foot surgery. He played just six games this season and had 10 receptions for 162 yards with a touchdown on 20 targets. It was his third consecutive injury-plagued campaign, and he's played just 15 games in three years. With a $1.1 million salary due in the final year of his rookie contract in 2022, the Colts won't save a ton by releasing him. Given his inability to stay on the field, however, it's possible the team could release him and move in another direction.

  • Steelers' James Washington: Still on COVID-19 list

Washington (undisclosed) remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list as of Tuesday, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

Coach Mike Tomlin relayed the news regarding Washington, whom the Steelers placed on the COVID-19 list Saturday. Washington was forced to sit out Sunday's season finale at Baltimore, but with Pittsburgh earning the No. 7 seed in the AFC he'll have another chance to play Sunday at Kansas City if he's able to clear league protocols.
