Daniels (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Thursday's matchup versus San Francisco in Melbourne, Australia, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.

Daniels was able to make the Rams' 53-man roster with a strong showing during the preseason, but he isn't high enough in the pecking order at this point to be active on gameday. Los Angeles will roll with Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith as its WR corps Thursday.

Greenard (pectoral) did not participate at practice Thursday.

Greenard was activated off the active/PUP list at the end of August, but his status for Week 1 is still up in the air. He'll probably have to log a full practice Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

Chaisson (knee) was a limited participant at the Commanders' practice Thursday.

Chaisson has logged back-to-back limited sessions to open the week as he continues to work his way back from the knee injury he sustained during Washington's joint practice with Miami in early August. The 27-year-old will have one last chance to log a full practice Friday before Sunday's regular-season opener against the Eagles on the road.

The Titans signed Jones on Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Jones got cut by the Colts on Tuesday, but he's already getting another chance with one of their division rivals. He projects for a depth role in Tennessee's secondary and might also be asked to contribute on special teams.

Atwell (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's tilt against the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.

Atwell was with the Dolphins during the offseason until the Rams traded for him Aug. 27, though he should be fairly well-versed in the team's playbook after spending each of the past five campaigns with Los Angeles. It seemed Atwell could have a fairly big role in the Dolphins' thin wideout corps, but now that he's back with the Rams, he'll be competing with the likes of Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith and Jordan Whittington for playing time (and active status) behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. It remains to be seen if Nacua will be suspended by the league at some point; if that were to happen, Atwell could move into a more significant role.

Payne (knee) was a limited participant at the Commanders' practice Thursday.

Payne was added to the injury report Thursday after he opened the week as a full participant Wednesday. The defensive tackle is dealing with an apparent knee injury, and he will have one more chance to log a full practice Friday before the team takes on the Eagles in Week 1 on Sunday.

Thomas (hamstring) was a full participant in practice Thursday.

The edge rusher popped up on the injury report last week with a hamstring issue but appears to be good to go. The rookie second-round pick should be in the defensive-line rotation during Monday night's matchup with Denver.

Prysock (coach's decision) is officially inactive for Thursday's game against the Rams, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Prysock was expected to serve as a depth option in the 49ers' secondary in 2026, but, at least for Week 1, he'll be a healthy scratch. In his stead, free-agent acquisition Jack Jones could get increased snaps on defense.

Simpson is inactive as the Rams' emergency third quarterback for Thursday's matchup against San Francisco in Melbourne, Australia, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.

It thus appears Stetson Bennett has won Los Angeles' No. 2 QB job, at least for the first game of the season. Simpson, who was taken by the Rams in the first round of April's NFL Draft, can make his NFL debut Thursday only if both starter Matthew Stafford and Bennett have to exit due to injury, illness, or ejection.

Wyatt (ankle) was a limited participant at the Packers' practice Thursday.

Wyatt has logged back-to-back limited practices to open the week with an ankle injury designation. The defensive lineman missed the final five games of the regular season and the Packers' postseason loss to the Bears last year after suffering an ankle fracture in Week 13, and the team is likely just being careful with his health ahead of Sunday's regular-season opener against Minnesota.
