Braxton Berrios WR | NYG
Giants' Braxton Berrios: Officially goes to IR
The Giants placed Berrios (foot) on their injured reserve list Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Berrios was already determined to have sustained a season-ending foot injury during Sunday's contest versus the Cardinals, so the move comes as no surprise. His being out could create more opportunities at wide receiver and as a returner for Charlie Jones, who was signed to the Giants' active roster from their practice squad in late September.

Kenneth Grant DT | MIA
Dolphins' Kenneth Grant: Practice window opens
The Dolphins designated Grant (toe) for return from injured reserve Wednesday.
The 2025 first-rounder was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Grant's 21-day practice window has now opened, meaning if the Dolphins do not return the defensive tackle to the active roster by Oct. 28, he will spend the rest of the 2026 season on IR.

Kyler Gordon CB | CHI
Bears' Kyler Gordon: Logs full practice Wednesday
Gordon (calf) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
The Bears designated Gordon to return to practice from the reserve/PUP list Sept. 30. The cornerback has officially returned to full participation in practice, meaning it will likely not be long before Gordon returns to the active roster ready to suit up for the team.

Durham Smythe TE | BAL
Ravens' Durham Smythe: Heads to IR
The Ravens placed Smythe (Achilles) on their injured reserve list Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Smythe tore his Achilles during Sunday's game versus the Titans, and he will now have to spend the remainder of the season on IR. His absence should open up more reps at tight end for rookie fourth-rounder Matthew Hibner.
-
Chris Moore WR | BAL
Ravens' Chris Moore: Practices in limited capacity Wednesday
Moore (ankle) was limited during Wednesday's practice.
Moore has been battling an ankle injury for at least a few weeks. While he has played with the issue, it finally kept him off the field in Week 4 versus the Titans. The 33-year-old has three catches for 63 yards and one touchdown during the 2026 campaign, so another absence wouldn't have a significant impact on the offense.

Akeem Davis-Gaither LB | IND
Colts' Akeem Davis-Gaither: Working through knee injury
Davis-Gaither was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury.
Davis-Gaither played all but two of the Colts' defensive snaps during their Week 4 win over the Commanders in London, finishing with eight tackles (five solo). The veteran linebacker appears to have picked up the knee injury in the process, and he'll have two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's road game against the Steelers.
-
Tylan Wallace WR | CLE
Browns' Tylan Wallace: Still unable to practice Wednesday
Wallace (knee) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Wallace sat out Cleveland's contest versus the Steelers in Week 4 due to a knee injury, and now his availability for Week 5 is up in the air too. He'll probably need to return to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a realistic chance of playing Sunday against the Jets.
-
Jaylon Carlies LB | IND
Colts' Jaylon Carlies: Sits out practice with rib injury
Carlies didn't practice Wednesday due to a rib injury.
Carlies injured his ribs toward the tail end of the Colts' Week 4 win over the Commanders in London, logging five tackles (three solo) and an interception before leaving the game late in the third quarter. He'll have two more opportunities to return to practice, but if he's not cleared to play against the Steelers on Sunday, rookie second-round pick CJ Allen could end up serving as his primary replacement.

Dillon Gabriel QB | CLE
Browns' Dillon Gabriel: Returns to practice Wednesday
Gabriel (back) was a full participant at practice Wednesday.
Per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com, coach Todd Monken did not say Wednesday that there was any imminent activation planned for Gabriel, so it seems like the Browns may use most of the 21-day practice window they opened Tuesday to ultimately determine whether he'll be activated. Cleveland already has three healthy quarterbacks on its active 53-man roster, and Gabriel projects to land behind starter Deshaun Watson and 2025 fifth-rounder Shedeur Sanders on the depth chart if he is eventually activated.
