  • Miles Sanders RB | DAL

Miles Sanders: Working out for Las Vegas

Sanders (knee/ankle) is working out for the Raiders on Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

The 29-year-old running back spent the 2025 campaign with Dallas and rushed 20 times for 117 yards and one touchdown across four regular-season appearances before landing on injured reserve Week 5 due to a season-ending knee injury that required surgery. Now healthy, Sanders is looking for his next opportunity. He hasn't been particularly effective since rushing for 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns during a 2022 regular season with the Eagles in which he was named to his lone Pro Bowl.

  • Jake Tonges TE | SF

49ers' Jake Tonges: Taking part in camp

Tonges (foot) is participating in practice to begin training camp, Brooke Evans of the 49ers' official site reports.

Tonges appears back to full health after having suffered a plantar fascia injury during San Francisco's playoff loss to the Seahawks back in January. With George Kittle (Achilles) having been placed on the active/PUP list to start training camp, Tonges currently is positioned as the 49ers' top tight end. If Kittle's recovery lingers into the regular season, Tonges could kick off the 2026 campaign with a notable workload.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Willing to play some tight end

Hollins said Monday he'd be willing to play some tight end this season, Karen Guregian of MassLive.com reports.

The Patriots signed Julian Hill earlier in the offseason as experienced depth behind Hunter Henry, but Hill suffered a season-ending knee injury during the spring. New England used a third-round pick on Eli Raridon, but it remains to be seen if he'll develop enough to contribute right away. Hollins is 6-foot-4 and 221 pounds and known as one of the most willing blocking wideouts in the league, so it wouldn't be foreign for Hollins to play closer to the line of scrimmage to get his hands on opposing edge defenders and linebackers.

  • Cardinals' Gardner Minshew: Moving back to No. 2 role

Minshew, who handled first-team reps at practice Sunday, will move back to the No. 2 quarterback role when the Cardinals return to practice Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

Minshew will bump back to the backup role now that teammate Jacoby Brissett has come to terms with Arizona on a new contract that provides him a raise for the 2026 campaign. Expectations are that Minshew will kick off the regular season as the No. 2 option behind Brissett, though rookie third-rounder Carson Beck also will have the chance to compete for opportunities in training camp. Minshew is fully recovered from the season-ending knee injury he suffered while operating as the backup to Patrick Mahomes (ACL) in Kansas City in 2025.

  • Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Doesn't finish practice Sunday

Harrison (undisclosed) did not finish Arizona's training camp practice on Sunday due to an unknown issue, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Harrison reportedly displayed positive chemistry with quarterbacks Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew on Sunday, hauling in a touchdown from the latter during team reps, but the third-year wideout wasn't able to finish the session. It remains to be seen whether Harrison is dealing with an undisclosed injury, or something as minor as conditioning. Arizona will not practice Monday, but Harrison's status will be worth monitoring when the team hosts its first padded session Tuesday.

  • Patriots' Kyle Williams: Appears buried on depth chart

Williams ran almost exclusively with the second- and third-team offenses at Monday's practice, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.

Callahan noted it appeared Williams was behind all of A.J. Brown, Romeo Doubs, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, DeMario Douglas and Efton Chism on the wideout depth chart Monday. Williams was a third-round pick last year, but New England has since added Brown and Doubs to the mix, leaving Williams in a fight for playing time. Williams' spot on the roster hasn't been brought into question at this point, but if he's this buried a month from now, it's fair to wonder if the Patriots would be willing to listen to offers for the 23-year-old after he produced just 10 catches for 209 yards and three touchdowns on 21 targets across 17 regular-season appearances as a rookie.

  • Lan Larison RB | NE

Patriots' Lan Larison: Making push for No. 3 RB slot

Larison appears to the early leader to serve as the Patriots' No. 3 running back behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports.

Also in the mix for slotting behind the top duo are Terrell Jennings (undisclosed), Jam Miller and Myles Montgomery, but after spending the entire 2025 campaign on IR due to a foot injury, Larison is making a push to claim a complementary backfield role ahead of Week 1. In any case, the back who emerges as New England's No. 3 option has modest fantasy upside as long as Stevenson and Henderson are healthy.

  • AJ Barner TE | SEA

Seahawks' AJ Barner: On field at camp

Barner (undisclosed) is participating in the start of Seattle's training camp, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 reports.

Barner's availability to open camp is a positive early sign after he missed offseason workouts due to a pair of undisclosed surgeries. The 2024 fourth-rounder is looking to defend his role as the Seahawks' clear top tight end in a room that also includes second-year option Elijah Arroyo. Barner started all 17 regular-season games in 2025, totaling 52 catches (on 68 targets) for 519 yards and six touchdowns.

  • Tory Horton WR | SEA

Seahawks' Tory Horton: Back for camp

Horton (shin/groin) was back on the field for Seattle's first training-camp practice Sunday, Gregg Bell of The News Tribune reports.

Horton's return is a notable step after he was held out of 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills during offseason team activities. Though his promising rookie year was cut short, he flashed touchdown upside on limited volume with five receiving scores and a punt-return touchdown across just eight regular-season games. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed still give Seattle a crowded receiver room, but Horton now has a full camp to push for a rotational role and maintain deep-league relevance.

  • Jordan James RB | SF

49ers' Jordan James: Opens camp as RB2

James appears to be operating as the No. 2 running back behind Christian McCaffrey to begin training camp, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

James already looked like the favorite for San Francisco's top backup job, and a strong early camp will only strengthen his case over rookie Kaelon Black and veterans Isaac Guerendo (pectoral) and Patrick Taylor. McCaffrey remains locked in as the 49ers' offensive centerpiece, but James would carry meaningful fantasy value if he secures the No. 2 role outright. A 2025 fifth-round pick, James suited up for only three regular-season game as a rookie.
