  • Raiders' Kolton Miller: Staying on IR

Miller (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Miller was limited in practice all week, and his last chance to play is Week 18 against the Chiefs. The 2018 first-rounder landed on injured reserve in late September after suffering a hairline fracture and high-ankle sprain against the Bears in Week 4.

  • Packers' Kristian Welch: Going to IR

Green Bay placed Welch (ankle) on its injured reserve list Friday.

Welch suffered an ankle injury in Week 16 at Chicago, and it's apparently serious enough that he'll need to go to IR as he recovers. He won't be eligible to return to game action until the NFC Championship Game, if the Packers advance that far.

  • Sam Roberts DT | NYG

Falcons' Sam Roberts: Gets go-ahead to practice

Roberts (knee) was officially designated for return to practice from Atlanta's injured reserve list Friday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Roberts had been unable to take the field at all since suffering an injury to his leg in Week 10 at Indianapolis, but he was able to participate at practice in a limited capacity Friday. The transaction means Atlanta could activate him to play as soon as Monday versus the Rams, but the team will likely wait to evaluate his activity at practice Saturday before making that call.

  • Packers' Savion Williams: Downgraded to questionable Saturday

Williams (foot) has been downgraded to questionable for Saturday's game against the Ravens due to an illness.

Williams missed three games earlier in the season due to a foot injury but was cleared to play against the Bears in Week 16. He's now battling through an illness that puts him in jeopardy of missing Saturday's game. Bo Melton (illness) and Emanuel Wilson would likely serve as the Packers' kick returners if Williams is unable to play.

  • Roger McCreary CB | DET

Rams' Roger McCreary: Logs full practice Friday

McCreary (hip) was a full participant at practice Friday.

McCreary has spent the last four games on the Rams' injured reserve list because of a hip injury he suffered in Week 12 versus the Buccaneers, but his activity at practice suggests he's nearing a return to game action. He'll still need to be officially activated from IR before that's technically possible, though.

  • Charles Cross OT | SEA

Seahawks' Charles Cross: Won't play at Carolina

Cross (hamstring) is officially listed as out for Sunday's game against the Panthers, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Cross was not able to practice at all during the week, and he'll sit out his second straight game due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 15 versus the Colts. In his stead, Josh Jones projects to start at left tackle against a Carolina defense that's struggled to rush the passer this year.

  • Davante Adams WR | LAR

Rams' Davante Adams: Doesn't practice Friday

    Adams (hamstring) didn't practice Friday.

Adams followed up Thursday's listing of DNP with an actual absence one day later, giving him just one more chance to mix into drills this week before the Rams potentially make a ruling on his status for Monday's game in Atlanta. Coach San McVay previously told Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com that Adams isn't expected to play Week 17, so Adams getting ruled out Saturday seems more likely than not at this juncture.

  • Eagles' Landon Dickerson: Suiting up at Buffalo

Dickerson (illness) does not carry any designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills.

Dickerson popped up on the Eagles' injury report Wednesday with an illness, but it doesn't appear to have been anything too serious, and he's on track to play in Week 17. He should slot into his usual spot at left guard Sunday.

  • Robert Hunt OT | CAR

Panthers' Robert Hunt: Could return Week 17

Hunt (biceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Hunt would need to be activated from injured reserve Saturday in order to be available to play in Sunday's home contest. Austin Corbett would continue to start at right guard if Hunt remains on IR.

  • Lane Johnson OT | PHI

Eagles' Lane Johnson: Won't play at Buffalo

Johnson (foot) is officially listed as out for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Johnson will miss a sixth straight game as he continues to recover from a right Lisfranc sprain he suffered in Week 11 versus the Lions. In his absence, Fred Johnson figures to make another start at right tackle against a Buffalo defense that's shown some vulnerability against the run this season.
