  • Packers' Chris Brooks: Active for Saturday night

Brooks (chest) is listed as active for Saturday night's game against the Bears, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

With No. 3 running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) on injured reserve, Brooks will have the chance to draw rotational snaps for the Packers' run game behind starters Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson. In last week's loss to the Broncos, Brooks had 17 offensive snaps, which led to two rushes for 10 yards as well as two targets for a six-yard reception.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Commanders' Marcus Mariota: Departs Week 16 game with hand issue

Mariota is questionable to return to Saturday's matchup against Philadelphia due to a right hand injury.

Mariota was also evaluated for a concussion but was cleared to continue playing. However, he may not do so if the right hand injury he's dealing with proves to be serious. Should Mariota be unable to return to action, Josh Johnson will step in to direct the Commanders' offense.

  • Karene Reid LB | DEN

Broncos' Karene Reid: Ruled out for Sunday

Reid (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Reid returned to full practice Wednesday, marking his first full session since he was moved to injured reserve in Week 11. Despite the linebacker's participation level, the Broncos have decided he will not return from IR this week. The 25-year-old's primary role is composed largely of special-teams snaps, and he will have to look toward Week 17 for a potential return game.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Available Saturday

Wicks (ankle) is listed as active Saturday in Chicago, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Wicks followed up no activity at Tuesday's walkthrough with back-to-back limited practices to end Week 16 prep as he continues to deal with an ankle injury. Now that his status has been clarified for Saturday's game, he'll be among the wide receivers available to the Packers offense along with Christian Watson (chest/shoulder), Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, Bo Melton and Savion Williams.

  • Cole Kmet TE | CHI

Bears' Cole Kmet: Suiting up in Week 16

Kmet (ankle/knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Kmet opened Week 16 prep with a limited walkthrough Tuesday and limited practice Wednesday due to ankle and knee injuries before progressing to all activity Thursday. He told Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network after the latter session that he intended to play Saturday, which now will come to pass. Despite handling between 63 and 79 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the last six contests, Kmet has put together just a 14-159-1 line on 18 targets, while rookie TE Colston Loveland has earned similar snap shares but compiled a 22-264-2 line on 29 targets during that stretch.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

    Bears' D'Andre Swift: Active Saturday

Swift (groin) is listed as active Sunday against the Packers.

Swift made an appearance on the Bears' injury report midweek due to a groin issue that limited him Wednesday and Thursday, leaving him questionable for Week 16 action. Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported earlier Saturday that Swift was expected to play this weekend, which now has been confirmed. In a Week 14 loss at Green Bay, Swift earned 58 percent of the offensive snaps en route to 16 touches for 82 yards from scrimmage, while rookie RB Kyle Monangai took 14 carries for 57 yards on a 41 percent snap share. Both backs figure to be involved with first place in the NFC North on the line.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Active in Week 16

Watson (chest/shoulder) is active for Saturday's game at Chicago, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Watson seemed destined to miss time after he suffered a chest injury last Sunday against the Broncos that forced a visit to a Denver-area hospital. Having said that, he followed up no activity at Tuesday's walkthrough with back-to-back limited practices, leaving the door open for him to play this weekend. Coach Matt LaFleur told Zach Kruse of USA Today on Thursday that Wednesday's session was "encouraging" for Watson, but that his availability was "going to come down to a medical decision and where he's at Saturday." With his status now confirmed for Week 16, Watson will join Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, Dontayvion Wicks (ankle), Bo Melton and Savion Williams as the wide receivers available to QB Jordan Love.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Suiting up Saturday

Jacobs (knee/ankle) is listed as active Saturday at Chicago, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Jacobs didn't practice at all this week due to the knee injury that's been lingering since Week 11 and also an ankle issue, which combined to leave him questionable for Week 16 action. Following a report from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network that Jacobs was expected to suit up Saturday, the running back will be available to the Packers offense for a fourth straight game since suffering the initial health concern. In the first three, Jacobs handled more than a 50 percent snap share on each occasion and tallied 54 touches for 275 yards from scrimmage and three total TDs. Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks (chest) also are on hand for RB reps this weekend.

  • Jordan Elliott DT | TEN

49ers' Jordan Elliott: Ready for Week 16

Elliott (knee) does not carry an injury designation for Monday's game against the Colts.

Elliott is ready to return to the field for the first time since he injured his knee in Week 13 against the Browns. He'll resume handling a key rotational role along San Francisco's defensive line behind Kalia Davis and rookie second-round pick Alfred Collins.

  • 49ers' Sam Okuayinonu: Ready to face Colts

Okuayinonu (ankle) does not carry an injury designation for Monday's game against Indianapolis.

Okuayinonu will retake the field for the first time since suffering an ankle injury versus the Browns in Week 12. He's expected to resume handling a starting role at defensive end on the road against the Colts on Monday night.
