  • Brian O'Neill OT | MIN

Vikings' Brian O'Neill: Sits out of practice

O'Neill (knee) did not practice Thursday.

The starting right tackle was a limited participant a day earlier. O'Neill played on all 65 offensive snaps in Week 1 against Green Bay but emerged from the contest with a knee injury. Now he's trending in the wrong direction as Week 2 approaches.

  • Josh Simmons OT | KC

Chiefs' Josh Simmons: Misses another practice

Simmons (back) did not participate at the Chiefs' practice Thursday.

Simmons has missed both of the team's first two practices of the week as he continues to nurse a back issue. The offensive lineman appears to be set to miss a second straight game to open the 2026 campaign, and if that's the case, Kahlil Benson will draw another start at left tackle versus Indianapolis on Sunday night.

  • Jaguars' Cole Van Lanen: Remains limited Thursday

Van Lanen (knee) was limited at practice Thursday.

Van Lanen was limited for a second straight day to open the week as he continues to nurse a knee injury. The offensive lineman was limited throughout the entire week before playing in the team's Week 1 win over the Browns, and he appears to be on a similar track prior to Sunday's matchup with Denver.

  • Avonte Maddox FS | DET

Lions' Avonte Maddox: Done for the game

Maddox (foot) has been ruled out for the rest of Thursday's matchup with the Bills, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.

The safety exited in the first half after making three tackles (one solo). Thomas Harper is the next man up at safety for the Lions.

  • Browns' Elgton Jenkins: Limited again

Jenkins (back) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

The starting center was limited Wednesday as well. If the issue is serious enough to keep Jenkins out of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Parker Brailsford (thumb) and Luke Wypler are in line to step in.

  • DJ Moore WR | BUF

Bills' DJ Moore: Will not return Thursday

Moore (shoulder) has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday night's game against the Lions.

Moore exited late in the second quarter and was taken to the locker room for X-rays. The results of those tests aren't yet clear, but Moore appeared to be in a considerable amount of pain after landing hard on his shoulder while attempting a diving catch in the end zone. Prior to his departure, Moore rushed one time for minus-1 yard and didn't see an official target in the passing game. Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid figure to be Josh Allen's preferred targets the rest of the way, with Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer and Dawson Knox filling in behind them in the pecking order.

  • Isaiah Adams G | ARI

Cardinals' Isaiah Adams: Back-to-back limited practices

Adams (knee) was a limited participant at the Cardinals' practice Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Adams has opened the week with a pair of limited sessions due to a knee injury. He will have one more chance to log a full practice Friday before Arizona attempts to move to 2-0 with a win Sunday against Seattle.

  • Browns' Teven Jenkins: Misses practice

Jenkins (back) did not participate in practice Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

The offensive guard was not able to play in Week 1 due to the back issue. At the moment, he's not on track to play in Week 2, either. Austin Barber has been his replacement at right guard.

  • Cardinals' Isaac Seumalo: Limited practice Thursday

Seumalo (shoulder) was a limited participant at Cardinals practice Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Seumalo opened the week as a non-participant at the team's practice Wednesday, so his return to the field Thursday is a step in the right direction. The offensive lineman will have one more chance to log a full practice before Sunday's matchup with the Seahawks.

  • Austin Ajiake LB | IND

Colts' Austin Ajiake: Logs full practice Thursday

Ajiake (hamstring) was a full participant at practice Thursday.

Ajiake sat out Week 1 due to a hamstring injury and missed practice Wednesday, but he now appears to be on track to suit up in Week 2. The majority of his snaps last year came on special teams.
