Alex Anzalone MLB | TB
Lions' Alex Anzalone: Sidelined by illness
Anzalone (illness) did not practice Wednesday.
Anzalone has been a key part of the Detroit defense all season, playing nearly 100 percent of snaps. There's currently no indication that the illness will jeopardize his status for a Week 15 matchup against the Rams.

Kamari Lassiter CB | HOU
Texans' Kamari Lassiter: Nursing foot injury
Lassiter (foot) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Lassiter tallied his third interception of the season during Sunday's game at Kansas City, but it appears he might have injured his foot along the way as well. If he can't get back on the practice field Thursday or Friday, it's unlikely he would be able to play in Week 15 versus the Cardinals.

Braden Smith OT | HOU
Colts' Braden Smith: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Smith (concussion) didn't participate in Indianapolis' practice Wednesday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
Smith sustained a concussion during the Week 14 loss to the Jaguars and will have to clear the league's concussion protocol before he's eligible to return. If the 29-year-old ends up being unable to play Sunday versus the Seahawks, Jalen Travis would likely start at right tackle in his place.

Denico Autry DT | HOU
Texans' Denico Autry: Dealing with knee injury
Autry (knee) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Autry has been tending to a lingering knee issue throughout the season, and it looks like he may have suffered a re-aggravation of that injury. He'll probably have to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to give himself a chance to suit up Sunday versus the Cardinals.
-
Donovan Wilson DB | DAL
Cowboys' Donovan Wilson: Limited by knee injury
Wilson (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Wilson likely injured his knee during Dallas' Week 14 loss to Detroit, when he played 59 of 62 defensive snaps (95.2 percent) and logged three tackles. He'll have two more opportunities to increase his practice participation and avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Brenden Bates TE | CLE
Browns' Brenden Bates: Logs limited practice to begin week
Bates (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Bates has missed both of Cleveland's past two games due to an ankle injury. He didn't practice at all each of the previous two weeks, so his ability to log a limited session Wednesday suggests he's showing improvement. When healthy this season, Bates has had a minor role on offense, logging two catches on two targets for 23 yards across five contests (three with the Texans and two with the Browns).

Azeez Al-Shaair LB | HOU
Texans' Azeez Al-Shaair: Nursing ankle injury
Al-Shaair (ankle) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Al-Shaair snagged an interception on Kansas City's last meaningful possession of the game in Week 14 to help clinch a win, but it seems he may also have picked up an ankle issue somewhere along the way. He'll likely need to return to practice Thursday or Friday to have a realistic chance of playing in Week 15 versus the Cardinals.
-
Hunter Luepke RB | DAL
Cowboys' Hunter Luepke: Dealing with hip injury
Luepke (hip) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Luepke likely picked up the injury during the Cowboys' Week 14 loss to the Lions, when he played 40 snaps (21 on offense, 19 on special teams) and finished with two tackles. His ability to practice in a limited capacity indicates the hip injury isn't a long-term concern, and he'll have two more opportunities to log a full practice and avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against Minnesota.

Ray-Ray McCloud WR | NYG
Ray-Ray McCloud: Gets cut from practice squad
The Giants cut McCloud from their practice squad Wednesday, Dan Salomone and Matt Citak of the team's official site report.
The Giants also released cornerback Myles Purchase from their practice squad, signing instead veteran punter Cameron Johnston and wide receiver Xavier Gipson. McCloud will become an unrestricted free agent.

Shane Zylstra TE | BUF
Lions' Shane Zylstra: Returns to limited practice
Zylstra (knee) logged a limited practice Wednesday.
Zylstra is working his way back from a knee injury that has held him out since Week 3. He began last week with a similar limited practice before downgrading to no practice, so his progression this week should give an indication of whether he'll be able to return to the field in Week 15 against the Rams.
