  Tinordi inked a one-year, two-way contract with Calgary on Tuesday. Tinordi will likely head into training camp in a battle with fellow veteran Joel Hanley (undisclosed) for the seventh defenseman spot in the lineup. Last year, the 32-year-old TInordi saw action in 52 games for the Blackhawks in which he registered nine assists but failed to find the back of the net while putting a mere 32 shots on net. All that to say, TInordi's lack of offensive upside makes him a relative non-factor in fantasy contests even if he does secure a spot on the Opening Night roster.

  Tinordi (groin) has been activated off injured reserve ahead of Thursday's game versus Pittsburgh, per the NHL media site. Tinordi returns to the lineup having been held without a point in his nine previous contests. Additionally, the 31-year-old blueliner has yet to find the back of the net this season despite playing in 30 games. Given his limited offensive upside, Tinordi's presence on the ice is unlikely to impact fantasy players.

  Tinordi (groin) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports. Tinordi, who last played Wednesday, will miss Tuesday's game against Vancouver, but he will be eligible to be activated after that. However, it's unclear at this time when he will be ready to return to the lineup. Tinordi has six assists, 62 blocked shots and 100 hits over 30 appearances this campaign. Louis Crevier will probably continue to see regular ice time until Tinordi is ready to return.
