Kreider scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Red Wings. A redirection in front gave Kreider his third goal over the last five games. All of those tallies have come on special teams -- two on the power play and one shorthanded. The 33-year-old is up to eight goals through 13 outings this season, three of which have been game-winners. He's scored three times with the man advantage and twice while shorthanded as he continues to be effective in all situations. The winger has added 34 shots on net, 14 hits and 10 PIM in a top-six role.

Kreider registered a shorthanded goal in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Islanders. Kreider opened the scoring at the 3:44 mark of the first period. His 11 shorthanded markers since the start of the 2021-22 season lead the league over that span. Kreider has seven goals and no assists through 11 outings this campaign.

Kreider scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-3 in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Capitals. Kreider ended a three-game point drought with his tally just 30 seconds into the second period. The winger has scored six times this season, with two of those goals coming on the power play. He's yet to log an assist and has a minus-2 rating, but he's recorded 25 shots on net and 11 hits across nine appearances. The Rangers' offense has been deep early on, even with some struggles for the top line of Kreider, Mika Zibanejad and Reilly Smith. Head coach Peter Laviolette appears set to let his players work through those issues without resorting to dramatic lineup shuffling, so Kreider should have every opportunity to find more consistency.

Kreider scored two goals in a 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday. His first stood as the winner. Kreider tapped in a cross-crease pass from Mika Zibanejad while on a delayed penalty in the second period. He also put in an empty-net goal. Kreider has five goals and 16 shots in five games this season. The 33-year-old has scored 127 regular-season goals since he turned 30. Kreider is one of those rare late bloomers whose skills will dry up fast someday, but there's no sign of that in his game now.

Kreider (illness) is good to play Thursday versus Detroit, per Peter Baugh of The Athletic. Kreider will feature on the top line alongside Mika Zibanejad and Reilly Smith. The 33-year-old Kreider has three goals in three appearances this year and has recorded over 35 markers in each of the past three regular seasons.
