  • Kreider scored a power-play goal on five shots and added two PIM in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Devils. Kreider scored in his second game back from an upper-body injury. The winger has returned to a top-six role and power-play time, but the Rangers' recent struggles on offense persist, which could limit his upside. He's at 10 goals with no assists through 21 outings this season, and he's added 59 shots on net, 26 hits and 14 PIM.

  • Kreider had two shots, one hit and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens. Kreider returned to action after missing three games due to an upper-body injury. While he didn't get credit on the scoresheet, the forward was indirectly involved in two of the Rangers' three power-play goals by screening Montreal goalie Sam Montembeault. Kreider returned to the third line and played 22 shifts for 18:22 TOI, about one minute more than his season average.

  • Kreider (upper body) will not dress Friday in Philadelphia, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports. Kreider will miss his third straight game with the injury. Kreider has nine goals with nary an assist in 19 games this season, including three goals on the power play. Kreider will play alongside Mika Zibanejad when he returns to action. Consider Kreider day-to-day and he could be back as early as Saturday versus Montreal.

  • Kreider (upper body) is expected to miss Wednesday's game against Carolina, according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post. Kreider has nine goals and no assists over 19 appearances in 2024-25. He also missed Monday's 5-2 loss to St. Louis because of the injury. The 33-year-old did travel with the team to Carolina, and head coach Peter Laviolette previously described Kreider's status as day-to-day, so the forward might still be an option to return Friday versus Philadelphia.
