Demko (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports. Demko is week-to-week and unavailable for at least the remaining four games of Vancouver's road trip. He has posted a 6-6-3 record with one shutout, a 2.87 GAA and an .891 save percentage in 17 appearances this season. Due to Demko's absence, Arturs Silovs was the backup behind Kevin Lankinen in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Vegas.

Demko (lower body) is week-to-week and won't accompany Vancouver on the team's upcoming five-game road trip, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports Tuesday. The Canucks will re-evaluate Demko when the team returns from the trip. He sustained the injury, which isn't to his knee, in a 2-1 win over Toronto on Feb. 8 before the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off. He has a 6-6-3 record with one shutout, a 2.87 GAA and an .891 save percentage in 17 appearances this season. Vancouver recalled Arturs Silovs from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday under emergency conditions to occupy the backup role behind Kevin Lankinen.

Demko (undisclosed) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Maple Leafs. Demko lasted 10:00 into the contest, stopping all six shots he faced. Kevin Lankinen took over in goal when Demko exited. The one silver lining here is that Demko will have two weeks to recover before the Canucks' visit to Vegas on Feb. 22 because of the 4 Nations Face-Off. The severity of the 29-year-old goalie's injury is unclear at this time.

Demko will patrol the home crease against Toronto on Saturday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports. Demko has won his last two outings, stopping 58 of 59 shots and earning his first shutout of 2024-25. He has a 6-6-3 record with a 2.90 GAA and an .889 save percentage through 16 appearances this season. Toronto is tied for 11th in the league with 3.11 goals per game this campaign.

Demko stopped 33 of 34 shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Sharks. Demko came within 1:28 of a shutout, but he had to settle for the overtime win. It was still a strong outing -- he's won three of his last four starts while allowing just five goals in that span. The 29-year-old seems to have shaken off the rust of a long-term knee injury that prevented him from playing for two months to begin the season. The netminder is now 6-6-3 with a 2.90 GAA and an .889 save percentage over 16 starts. The Canucks' last game before the 4 Nations Face-Off break is Saturday at home versus the Maple Leafs.
