  • Hockey Club's Alex Kerfoot: Garners helper in win

Kerfoot notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.

Kerfoot hasn't scored in six games in December, but he has three assists and a plus-1 rating so far this month. The 30-year-old forward continues to play on the fourth line officially while filling in as an all-situations option for Utah. He's at 12 points, 42 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, 14 hits and a plus-2 rating through 30 appearances.

  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Hockey Club's Logan Cooley: Slides two helpers in win

Cooley registered two assists, three hits and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.

Cooley set up Dylan Guenther for the opening tally and Nick Schmaltz on a power-play goal late in the second period. This was Cooley's second straight two-assist effort and his fifth multi-point effort in the last 11 contests. The 20-year-old center is up to seven goals, 19 helpers, seven power-play points, 59 shots on net, 26 hits and a plus-12 rating over 30 appearances. Cooley looks poised for a breakout campaign while playing on Utah's second line.

  • Hockey Club's Nick Schmaltz: One of each on power play

Schmaltz scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.

Schmaltz has three goals and two assists over six games in December. The 28-year-old tied the game at 2-2 in the second period of this contest, then added a helper on Clayton Keller's game-winning goal in the final minute of the third. Schmaltz is up to five goals, 24 points (eight on the power play), 65 shots on net and a minus-5 rating over 30 appearances. While he's primarily a playmaker, the American winger can also score at a decent rate, especially while playing on the top line and first power-play unit.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Comes up clutch

Keller scored a power-play goal on five shots and also had an assist with the man advantage in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.

Keller's second multi-point effort in the last three games was a big one. He helped out on a Nick Schmaltz game-tying goal in the second period, then added the game-winning tally himself at 19:16 of the third. Keller has 10 goals this season, and three of them have been game-winners. The captain is at 28 points (10 on the power play), 75 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 30 appearances in his usual top-line role.

  • J.T. Miller C | NYR

Canucks' J.T. Miller: Hands out helper Saturday

Miller produced an assist, seven hits and two PIM in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Bruins.

Miller has three helpers over two games since he returned from a personal leave. The 31-year-old was up to 19:10 of ice time Saturday and looks fully set to resume his role as one of the Canucks' top all-around forwards. The center has 19 points, 35 shots on net, 38 hits, 11 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 19 appearances this season.

  • Max Sasson C | VAN

Canucks' Max Sasson: Scores lone goal in loss

Sasson scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Bruins.

Sasson continues to be juggled between the NHL and AHL for cap purposes, but he looks like he's NHL-ready at this point. He scored his first NHL goal Saturday and has three points over his last two outings. Overall, the 24-year-old has five points, eight shots on net, eight hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 10 appearances as a rookie.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Gets assist against old team

Lindholm posted a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canucks.

Lindholm snapped a seven-game point drought when he set up Brad Marchand's first-period tally. The 30-year-old Lindholm had been questionable to play Saturday after getting hurt Thursday in Seattle. The Swedish center has managed 14 points, 41 shots on net, 56 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 32 outings this season after logging 44 points over 75 regular-season games between the Flames and the Canucks in 2023-24.

  • Bruins' Marc McLaughlin: Nets goal in win

McLaughlin scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canucks.

McLaughlin was scratched Thursday in Seattle but returned to the lineup for the sixth time in the last seven games. The 25-year-old tallied in the second period to earn his first goal and point of 2024-25. McLaughlin has been limited to a physical bottom-six role so far, adding 12 shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-1 rating over seven appearances. The Bruins claimed Oliver Wahlstrom off waivers from the Islanders on Saturday, and it's possible McLaughlin loses his NHL spot if the team doesn't want to carry 14 forwards.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Pair of points Saturday

Geekie scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canucks.

Geekie has three goals and two assists over his last five contests. He continues to play alongside David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha at even strength -- that trio combined for three goals and nine points in this win. Geekie has the least scoring upside of the three, but he's holding his own this year with five tallies, six helpers, 51 shots on net, 40 hits and a minus-7 rating over 27 contests.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Racks up three points in win

Zacha scored a goal on two shots, dished two assists, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canucks.

Zacha, David Pastrnak and Morgan Geekie combined for three goals and nine points in the contest. That's good work for one of Boston's top trios. Zacha has five goals and four assists over his last nine contests as he starts to get on track on offense. For the season, the 27-year-old center has eight goals, eight assists, 69 shots on net, 16 hits, 11 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 32 appearances.
