Carter Verhaeghe C | FLA
Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Three-game, five-point streak
Verhaeghe scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 loss to Utah. He wired four shots on Vitek Vanecek.
Verhaeghe is on a modest, three-game, five-point scoring streak with eight shots and a plus-four rating. It's curious to note that the winger has just 115 shots in 51 games -- last season, Verhaeghe pelted the puck 242 times, although his shooting percentage (8.3) was stunningly low for a guy with a 13.5 percent career average. This season, he's on a projected 180-shot pace, his lowest since 2021-22.

Nick Schmaltz C | UTA
Mammoth's Nick Schmaltz: First shortie of season
Schmaltz scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 win over the Panthers.
It was a shorthanded goal that opened the scoring in the first period; it was also his first SHG of the season. It was Schmaltz's 19th goal of the campaign (53 games). He's not scoring like he was earlier in 2025-26, but he's still building toward a career season. Schmaltz has 47 points, 126 shots and a plus-17 rating in 53 games. Most impressively, he has swung his plus-minus from an abysmal minus-15 last year to that strong mark this season, and he's on pace to top 70 points.

Cody Glass C | NJ
Devils' Cody Glass: Exits Tuesday's game
Glass (undisclosed) was injured in the second period of Tuesday's game versus the Jets, and he will require further evaluation to determine his status moving forward, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Glass attempted to return during the second period but didn't play in the third. He should be considered questionable at best to play Thursday versus the Predators. If he can't suit up, the Devils will likely need to shuffle their bottom six around, especially after acquiring Maxim Tsyplakov from the Islanders earlier Tuesday.

Jordan Kyrou C | STL
Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Injured in Tuesday's game
Kyrou (upper body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Stars.
The Blues also lost Jake Neighbours (lower body) earlier in the contest. The severity of Kyrou's injury isn't known, but it comes at a rough time, as he had scored three goals and added four assists over his previous seven games before a scoreless outing Tuesday. More information should be available prior to Thursday's game versus the Panthers.

Anton Lundell C | FLA
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Exits early, likely to be fine
Lundell (undisclosed) did not finish Tuesday's game versus the Mammoth, but the center is expected to be fine, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Lundell was limited to 12:19 of ice time in the contest. Head coach Paul Maurice had minimal concern for Lundell's status moving forward, but fantasy managers will want to check in ahead of Thursday's game versus the Blues.

Elias Lindholm C | BOS
Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Won't finish game
Lindholm (upper body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Predators.
Lindholm appeared to get injured during a faceoff in the second period. The 31-year-old center should be considered day-to-day for now. Casey Mittelstadt would likely move back to center from the wing if Lindholm is forced to miss time.
-
Fedor Svechkov C | NSH
Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Gets hurt Tuesday
Svechkov (upper body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Bruins.
Svechkov was injured in the first period and didn't come out for the middle frame. The forward can be considered day-to-day until more information is available. If he misses time, Tyson Jost will likely draw in as the fourth-line center.

Cameron Hebig C | UTA
Mammoth's Cameron Hebig: Returned to minors
Hebig was loaned to AHL Tucson on Tuesday.
In a corresponding move, Utah recalled Dmitri Simashev from the minors. Hebig has been a healthy scratch in three straight games for Utah and hasn't made his NHL debut yet. He has 15 goals and 33 points in 35 AHL outings this season.

Marco Rossi C | VAN
Canucks' Marco Rossi: Officially ruled out through Olympics
Rossi (lower body) suffered a setback and won't be back until after the Olympic break, Farhan Lalji of TSN reports Tuesday.
Rossi has already been sidelined for the last 13 games due to his lower-body problem and will now be shelved for at least five more before the break. Once given the all-clear, Rossi should reclaim a spot in the top six for Vancouver, though it will likely be too late for the team to make a postseason push.

Brendan Gaunce C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Brendan Gaunce: Surfaces on waivers
Gaunce was put on waivers Tuesday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Gaunce has picked up two goals, four assists, 29 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and 44 hits across 25 NHL games this season. If he clears waivers, he will likely head to AHL Cleveland. Gaunce has four goals and six points in 12 minor-league appearances during the 2025-26 campaign.
