Oilers' Jack Roslovic: Back from LTIR
Roslovic (undisclosed) was activated from long-term injured reserve Sunday.
In corresponding moves, the Oilers moved Connor Clattenburg (eye) to long-term injured reserve and loaned Quinn Hutson to AHL Bakersfield. Connor Clattenburg C | EDM
Oilers' Connor Clattenburg: Transitioned to LTIR
Clattenburg (eye) has been moved from injured reserve to long-term injured reserve, the team announced Sunday.
The transition to long-term injured reserve likely doesn't affect Clattenburg's original injury timeline, but it allowed the Oilers to activate Jack Roslovic (undisclosed) in a corresponding move. The 20-year-old Clattenburg has one goal in five games on the season, but he has been out since Dec. 6 with injury.

Mason Appleton C | DET
Red Wings' Mason Appleton: Removed from IR
Appleton (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday.
Appleton will return to the lineup against Washington on Sunday after missing the last 10 games. He has contributed three goals, nine points, 28 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and 28 hits across 26 appearances this season. Marco Kasper will be a healthy scratch in Sunday's game to make room for Appleton's return.

J.T. Miller C | NYR
Rangers' J.T. Miller: Not on road trip
Miller (upper body) didn't accompany the Rangers for the team's two-game road trip, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports Sunday.
Miller won't play against Nashville on Sunday, and a return to the lineup against Washington on Tuesday is unlikely. He is still undergoing evaluations to determine a timeline for his recovery after getting hurt in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over Philadelphia. Miller has generated 10 goals, 22 points, 77 shots on net and 74 hits through 35 appearances this season.

Mathew Barzal C | NYI
Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Thrives offensively in loss
Barzal scored a goal, dished out an assist, placed four shots on net, recorded a block and served two PIM in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sabres.
Barzal was involved in every stage of New York's offense Saturday, as he scored a goal near the end of the second period before he assisted Emil Heineman's game-tying tally to send the game to overtime. Barzal also recorded a backhanded score for the Islanders' lone tally of the shootout. With the goal and assist in regulation, he is up to 10 goals, 19 assists, 82 shots on net and 25 blocks through 35 games this season. Despite being listed as a game-time decision for each of the past two contests, the 28-year-old center hasn't missed a beat, recording three points over the last two outings to extend his point streak to seven games. He's well on his way to the seventh 50-plus point campaign of his career and has 70-80-point potential if he can stay hot in the second half of the season, giving him strong value in all point-based fantasy formats.

Tage Thompson C | BUF
Sabres' Tage Thompson: Goal streak up to six
Thompson scored a goal and put four shots on net in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Islanders.
Thompson maintained his elite stretch of play Saturday, as he doubled the Sabres' lead midway through the second period. With the twine finder, he is up to 18 goals, 31 points, 123 shots on net and 37 hits through 34 games this season. The 28-year-old forward has been on fire as of late, as he used Saturday's score to extend his goal streak to six games. He has added three assists and 22 shots on goal during that stretch, proving that he hasn't lost a step in his ability to maintain a high shot volume. With the 2026 Winter Olympic Games roster selections right around the corner, Thompson is heating up at the right time to make a strong case for his inclusion on Team USA. With 40-plus goal potential, Thompson's category coverage makes him an elite player in fantasy even after his goal streak ends.

Jack Hughes C | NJ
Devils' Jack Hughes: Ready to rock
Hughes (finger) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup against Buffalo on Sunday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Following an 18-game absence, Hughes should return to a top-six role and see time on the first power-play combination versus the Sabres on Sunday. He has accounted for 10 goals, 20 points and 69 shots on net across 17 appearances this season. With Timo Meier (personal) and Arseny Gritsyuk (upper body) also ready to play, Juho Lammikko and Angus Crookshank will come out of the lineup.

Jake Evans C | MON
Canadiens' Jake Evans: Moves to IR
Evans (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
The Canadiens recalled Sammy Blais from AHL Laval in a corresponding move. Evans suffered the injury in Saturday's 4-0 win over Pittsburgh. He will miss at least the next two games, starting with Sunday's rematch against the Penguins, after moving to injured reserve. Evans has five goals, 10 points, 34 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and 44 hits through 34 appearances this season.

Ryan Greene C | CHI
Blackhawks' Ryan Greene: Two helpers Saturday
Greene collected two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Senators.
The 22-year-old center produced the first multi-point performance of his brief career as he helped to set up tallies by Ilya Mikheyev and Andre Burakovsky in the second period. Greene, a second-round pick in the 2022 draft, found himself on Chicago's top power-play unit Saturday after Frank Nazar was knocked out of the game early after taking a puck off the face in the first period. With Nazar and Connor Bedard (upper body) both on the shelf until some time in January, Greene will get every chance to show his college scoring resume -- he recorded 25 goals and 74 points over 80 games in his final two seasons at Boston University -- can translate to the pros.
