Sam Steel C | DAL
Stars' Sam Steel: Three helpers against Panthers
Steel notched three assists, two on the power play, in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to Florida.
The 27-year-old center came into the game with just two points, a goal and an assist, through 11 games, but Steel erupted for his first three-point performance since 2018-19, the season in which he made his NHL debut with the Ducks. He's getting a look on the second line and second power-play unit while Matt Duchene (upper body) and Roope Hintz (undisclosed) are unavailable. Steel could have some fantasy appeal in the short term while he fills that role.

Aatu Raty C | VAN
Canucks' Aatu Raty: Offers two helpers
Raty posted two assists and five hits in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Wild.
Raty helped out on both of Drew O'Connor's goals in this game. The 22-year-old Raty has earned three helpers over the last two contests while filling a third-line role for the banged-up Canucks. The center is at four assists, six shots on net, 32 hits and a plus-2 rating over 11 appearances in 2025-26. As long as injuries are a significant problem for Vancouver, Raty looks to have a spot in the lineup as a bottom-six forward.

Trevor Zegras C | PHI
Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Four-game, eight-point streak
Zegras picked up an assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Zegras stretched his point streak to four games and eight points (four goals, four assists). He has 13 shots on the streak. Zegras has responded well to coach Rick Tocchet's approach, and the move to Philly could be the ticket to both maturity and stardom.

Joel Eriksson Ek C | MIN
Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Dishes two helpers
Eriksson Ek logged two assists, including one on the power play, and added two shots on net and two hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
This was Eriksson Ek's second multi-point effort of the season. He has yet to really get into a groove on offense -- his season-opening three-game point streak is his longest of the year so far. The 28-year-old center is at two goals, seven helpers, 39 shots on net, 27 hits, eight PIM and a minus-7 rating through 13 outings as a regular in the Wild's top six.

Marco Rossi C | VAN
Wild's Marco Rossi: Restores lead with goal
Rossi scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and levied three hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Rossi has two goals and five assists during his five-game point streak. His tally Saturday put the Wild up 2-1 in the second period, and they maintained a lead the rest of the way. The 24-year-old center is at three goals, nine helpers, 22 shots on net, nine hits, six blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 12 appearances this season. He should continue to provide steady offense as long as he stays on the top line.

Vinnie Hinostroza C | FLA
Wild's Vinnie Hinostroza: Two points in third period of win
Hinostroza scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Hinostroza's offense is starting to warm up. He's earned four points this season, and they've all come within the last five games, a span in which he also has six shots on net and a plus-1 rating. The 31-year-old forward has occupied a middle-six role, and his slow start on offense cost him a job on the second power-play unit, though he could get it back if he continues to chip in semi-regularly. He's produced 13 shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-5 rating across 13 outings this season.

Philipp Kurashev C | SJ
Sharks' Philipp Kurashev: OT hero in two-goal effort
Kurashev scored two goals, one the overtime winner, in Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Avalanche.
Both goals came in similar fashion, as he snapped shots over Mackenzie Blackwood's glove for the Sharks' last two tallies of the afternoon. Kurashev has found the back of the net in three straight games and has points in four straight, racking up four goals and seven points during that heater. He managed just one goal in his first six contests of 2025-26.

Nick Cousins C | OTT
Senators' Nick Cousins: Doesn't finish contest
Cousins (undisclosed) left Saturday's game versus the Canadiens in the third period and did not return, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
There was no update on Cousins' status after the contest. The Senators have a few days off before they visit the Bruins on Thursday, so it may be a while before an update on Cousins' injury is available. If he can't play, Olle Lycksell and Kurtis MacDermid could both be in the lineup after previously competing for one spot in recent weeks.

John Tavares C | TOR
Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Six-game, nine-point streak
Tavares picked up two assists in a 5-2 win over Philadelphia on Saturday.
Tavares is on a six-game, nine-point scoring streak that includes five goals. He is tied for second in team scoring with Matthew Knies (14 points) and one behind William Nylander (15). Tavares is also even with Auston Matthews for the goal lead with six.
