Ben Meyers C | SEA
Kraken's Ben Meyers: Called up from minors
Meyers was recalled from AHL Coachella Valley on Tuesday.
Meyers' promotion likely indicates that Jared McCann (lower body) won't be ready to suit up versus the Capitals on Tuesday, giving the Kraken an extra healthy forward. Even with his elevation to the NHL roster, the 26-year-old Meyers is far from a lock to play against Washington, and he would need to edge out the likes of Berkly Catton, Tye Kartye or Jani Nyman for a spot in the lineup.

Conor Geekie C | TB
Lightning's Conor Geekie: Sent to AHL
Geekie was assigned to AHL Syracuse on Monday.
With just a single assist through six games to start the season, Geekie will return to Syracuse where he posted 11 goals and dished out nine assists in just 24 games last season. The 2022 first-round pick is still struggling to gain traction at the NHL level, but he's only 21 years old -- we'll see him back in the NHL in the not-so-distant future.

Nils Aman C | VAN
Canucks' Nils Aman: Summoned from minors
Aman was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Monday.
Aman has three assists in four minor-league outings this season. He could play against Pittsburgh on Tuesday if Brock Boeser (personal) remains unavailable. Due to injuries to forwards Teddy Blueger (undisclosed), Jonathan Lekkerimaki (undisclosed) and Filip Chytil (upper body), the 25-year-old Aman will provide the Canucks with some insurance.

Brett Howden C | LV
Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Will remain sidelined Monday
Howden (lower body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Hurricanes.
Howden has resumed skating and is getting closer to returning to game action, but he'll be unavailable for a fourth consecutive matchup. He's still considered day-to-day for now, and the Golden Knights have a slight layoff before they face the Panthers on Saturday.

Marat Khusnutdinov C | BOS
Bruins' Marat Khusnutdinov: Joins lineup, earns assist
Khusnutdinov notched an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Mammoth.
After failing to log a point in his first four games of the season, Khusnutdinov was scratched for two contests. His return to the lineup Sunday went better, as he set up a David Pastrnak tally in the second period. Khusnutdinov's place in the lineup is not secure -- Casey Mittelstadt was a scratch Sunday to let him back in. While Khusnutdinov was on the second line on paper, he had just 11:09 of ice time, so he's likely ticketed for something closer to bottom-six usage until he finds more consistency on offense.

Nick Schmaltz C | UTA
Mammoth's Nick Schmaltz: Dishes two more helpers
Schmaltz logged two assists, including one on the power play, and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Bruins.
Schmaltz has posted back-to-back multi-point efforts and has gotten on the scoresheet in five of six games this year. He has a total of three goals, six helpers, 23 shots on net and a plus-3 rating. The 29-year-old playmaker is thriving in his usual top-line role and should be a steady source of offense for fantasy managers.

Martin Pospisil C | CGY
Flames' Martin Pospisil: Resumes skating
Pospisil (undisclosed) skated on his own Monday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Pospisil will miss his seventh straight game against Winnipeg on Monday, but he could be close to making his season debut. The Flames opened a potential spot on the roster for him by placing Daniil Miromanov on waivers Monday. Pospisil generated four goals, 25 points, 114 shots on net, 301 hits and 84 PIM across 81 regular-season outings in 2024-25.

Adam Lowry C | WPG
Jets' Adam Lowry: Trending in right direction
Lowry (hip) is expected to be ready by late October or early November, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports Monday.
Lowry saw action in 73 regular-season games for the Jets last season in which he notched 16 goals and 18 assists despite not registering any points with the man advantage. Once given the all-clear, Lowry should slot into a third-line center role, though he could challenge Jonathan Toews for a spot in the top six.

Cole Perfetti C | WPG
Jets' Cole Perfetti: Could return in mid-November
Perfetti (ankle) is slightly ahead of schedule in his recovery and is targeting a mid-November return, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports Monday.
Perfetti was considered week-to-week to begin the regular season due to his ankle injury, but he skated Sunday and Monday and is progressing well in his recovery. He appeared in all 82 regular-season games for the Jets last year, recording 18 goals, 32 assists, 71 hits, 45 blocked shots and 20 PIM while averaging 15:11 of ice time.

Matt Duchene C | DAL
Stars' Matt Duchene: Probable for Tuesday's game
Duchene missed practice Monday due to his upper-body injury but is considered probable for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jackets, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Duchene returned from his upper-body injury Saturday in St. Louis, but the issue is still bothering him a few days later. Head coach Glen Gulutzan didn't seem too concerned about Duchene's status for Tuesday's matchup, but the Stars will likely monitor his status during the morning skate before officially determining his status.
